This restaurant has phenomenal burgers, sandwiches & appetizers. We absolutely love the military theme of this restaurant as well as the best servers/cooks. We appreciate the love that the staff have for us service men & women (I am a veteran, myself) and the perfect quality of the food is proof! They were also kind enough to go the extra mile and hang up a picture in the restaurant of our dear friend and his son back when they were in the U.S. Navy. I highly recommend you try this place out for some high quality food served by the most genuine people in NWA.

Delicious Sandwiches. My only knock is It always takes a long time to make the sandwiches regardless if they are busy. Same owners as Green Submarine. Decent Prices. Nice Portions. Friendly Staff. Relaxing Atmosphere. Good Soda options and Free Water. Overall a great place to grab a bite and hang with family.

I have been a couple of times now and really like the atmosphere and the food. It is primarily a sandwich shop. It is always extremely clean and the food is good. The service is great and the prices aren’t bad. I’m still getting used to post-COVID inflation adjusted prices, so I’m sure that most folks would say the prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the food (combined with the earlier mentioned great service and atmosphere). Certainly worth a visit if you are craving a sandwich.

Honestly? Absolutely incredible. I firmly believe that you can tell everything you need to know about an establishment based on their chicken strip basket and this one was so juicy, the fries were so perfect, and my husband’s made-in-house chips so perfectly crispy and salty… how could I not steal the other half of his Triple Club! Not to mention the unheard of hospitality shown to us by the staff. It’s the kind of establishment where you order at a counter, pay, and they bring it out to you. Most other places like that, that’s the last time you seen an employee. Mess Hall 45 continued to check on us and make sure we were doing well the entire time we were there. So glad we tried something new, can’t wait to go back!

I’ve now been to Mess Hall 45 four times and I can say without a doubt it’s the best place in town to get a sandwich. I’ve worked in the food industry for 20 years so I’m somewhat of a stickler when it comes to eating out but everything about this place is fantastic. The owners are great, the service is great, the restaurant is clean, and most importantly the food is amazing. This is the type of place that Guy Fieri would say is off the hook, I highly recommend the chili lime shrimp sandwich!

ROTTEN SHRIMP AND DOUBLE CHARGED FOR EXTRA DRINKS. The food here used to be really good but now it’s not consistent and overpriced. We, 2 people, went to lunch. We got two sandwiches and appetizer. It was $43. I got a shrimp sandwich and took two bites and it had an awful taste. I noticed the shrimp was mushy and it tasted ROTTEN. I notified the owner and she asked if she could get me anything else and I said no. She should have reimbursed me for the sandwich since it was ROTTEN. I couldn’t eat anything else due to the rotten taste in my mouth. AND On top of that, We got charged for 3 drinks when we only got 2. We had been loyal customers for years, however, we will not be back.

It's a small place and unique. Food and service are excellent. You need to go to the counter to see the menu and order... how much trouble would it be to have printed menu cards at the 6 or so tables? They have books and games to use while you wait - nice! Quite. Love the place.

Place was amazing and was very clean on the inside. The vibe from the staff was nice, down to earth people. The food was amazing with lots of flavor! Will definitely return again!
