It was our first time eating there. I got the barbecue plate and my only complaint is that there was no barbecue sauce like Sweet Baby Ray's. It was that North Carolina sour taste. (That's why I only gave it four stars). So I ate the hush puppies, french fries and sweet potatos but brought the pork home so I could put real barbecue sauce on it and enjoy it. The food we did have was delicious. Loved the sign! ✝️

Southern cooking at its best! Let's just start by saying $7.00 for breakfast and $8.00 for lunch which includes your drink of choice and tipping is not necessary but if can spare it is probably much appreciated! Customer service with a smile and once you finish eating you can skip the next meal of the day because you will be completely full. Whether it is their breakfast or lunch your plate will be as full or fuller than most restaurants. You can also get individual breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches like barbecue sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, hamburgers or hotdogs if you don’t want a platter.

LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!!! This place has too many positives to list so I’ll just say this, 1. Yes the food is delicious 2. Yes it looks busy but I promise the line moves fast, ( you can also call in and order ahead of time and pick up at the register but by doing this you’ll miss the mess hall style food workers) 3. The price is not fair….BECAUSE YOURE BASICALLY ROBBING THEM you get sooo much food plus drink with the platter it’s insane and for it to be a homemade meal with large portions and all the trimmings….. omg this place goes in my little book of culinary wonders. I travel the country because of my vocation and I always try the mom and pop eateries and this place goes in my book of “ little known gems of American fine eatin. The only other place I’ve saw match this place is Helen’s Sausage in lower Delaware. Those are dam good sausages. Anyway stop reading…. Go to Kinlaws and get you some good eatin, you won’t be disappointed at allllllll.

We were in Fayetteville, North Carolina and had come from Sam's. I didn't know where we were going to eat and all of a sudden we were at this place. I had not ever been here. When I went in and ordered my food and sat down to eat, I was very impressed. The food was delicious. I ordered mashed potatoes, cabbages, pork chops, hush puppies and lemonade. It was awesome! I would love to visit there again at anytime 😊. .

Excellent in every way! Great employees! Great Food and Drinks! Great Owners! They have never failed any of my family members or me for many decades! Top Notch! Just had a plate of ribs , I don't know what he does to make it fall off the bone, but I think I know why it's finger licking good ! It's got to be the sauce

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. The food was great! I got the $8 special and for the price you get a lot of food. I couldn’t finish. Will definitely try lunch next time. I highly recommend for breakfast. You also get a drink. I got the lemonade.

Wife and I eat here often. They have fried chicken and pork chops and nice selection of sides. You're always greeted like family. The food service is like the military mess hall, or like a school cafeteria. The dining area is simple smallish table with 4 wooden chairs. And usually pretty busy. But with no long waits and the line moves at a good pace.

Always fun to get food here. The server always makes you smile and had a great personality. Besides the good food she makes stopping in for food all worth it.

The pork chops and ribs were very good. The green beans and boiled potatoes even better. Looking forward to trying breakfast here. It was $10 with tax included for meat, 2 sides and tea.

The staff alone is reason to visit here. However, the care they take to prepare and serve delicious food was just the cherry on top for an extended list breakfast staples that tasted even better than the online pics that brought me there. Memorable, without the fuss of a hipster restaurant.

You can never go wrong with the food. I have never had a bad experience or food from here. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly! The candied yams are a must have.

I noticed that the price of the food has increased but the food is so awesome that I don't mind paying more the large portions. The service is number 1 also. I love the loving energy of the employees. ❤️❤️

It was my first time eating there. I didn't even know about this place. I'm so glad I went. The service was friendly, and the food was amazing. I had the stew beef n rice with onions, yams, n green beans n his puppies. I never had stew beef cooked so tender, n the yams just melted in my mouth. It's like each bite I had the taste got better n better. Green beans are one of my favorite vegetables, but they had nothing on those yams. Thank you for serving me n making my day so memorable.

First time there . They keep the food line moving so well . Food was hot and fresh, thank you to cooks and servers . Enjoyed banana pudding dessert. Great prices for a full meal.. A clean , bright , inviting atmosphere. We will return soon.

Great breakfast place You can get eggs (any way on request) potatoes grits sausage ham pork chops bis&gravy biscuits toast almost anything you want and they will heap it on your plate with tea coffee juice coke milk (I think) great food great staff you will be FULL You don't have to wait long I have seen a line to the door get served in record time and it's CHEAP!! $8 for breakfast $10 for lunch highly recommend bring a friend

Locally famous for their food. Daily specials are offered as well as regular menu items. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The food is ALWAYS good. The Friday special BBQ ribs is fall-off-the-bone deliciousness. Their fried chicken and BBQ pork are offered daily and are always good and popular with the lunch crowd. They have lots of good sides. I like their coleslaw slaw, hush puppies, and green beans. Get there early or call in to pick up your order because they are VERY popular.

Met a group of friends here for a luncheon and the food was amazing. I got take out but was there a while and enjoyed the atmosphere and food deals. Tasha our server went out of her way to help. Betty runs a great line where you get your food. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. I had the baked and fried. They have great tasting healthy down home cooked vegetables and food. Great BBQ and hush puppies!!! They even had a decent banana pudding… Service was fast and the place was clean. Great cafeteria type food at a great price!!!

Great barbecue, good green beans, decent cabbage, delicious hushpuppies, tasty baked chicken, amazing sweet tea, excellent banana pudding, lemonade tastes artificial and excessively sweet, disappointed to discover that the "dressing" was stuffing.

Wow, the breakfast here is delicious! Staff were friendly as well. I got the fried tenderloin and cheese grits with eggs and it was amazing, can't wait to return and the service was fast too.
