The most disappointing buffet I've ever been to. The food was terrible and it was really expensive for what it offers, 15$ per person with water. The lady that served our zone was great though, everything was really clean and she was always ready to fill up our glasses. Everything else was really bad. The fried chicken was hard and leather like and had no taste, the pizza was like a wet slice of bread with sauce and cheese on it, the fish and shrimps had a really strong fishy taste and smell, the fries really mushy, cold and sad. The desserts were really sad and destroyed by other people, I tried some brownies and some chocolate cake and they both tasted like plastic, didn't have the chance to try anything else since there was nothing on the tables. The hush puppies were good and hot. I would never go to Golden Corral again, there are so many other options that are cheaper and taste a lot better. Very disappointed since Fayetteville, NC is where the first Golden Corral was opened.

Update Aug 2022. I'm adding one star for amazing customer service from our waitress, Joy. She had great hustle, hard work and a fantastic attitude. It really added to our experience. Staff could be a little more friendly and pay attention to detail. The food is good for the price but most of the staff seemed irritated by us customers, especially the steak station. There were some very friendly wait staff at the tables. The buffet line was poorly labeled (see pics) and seemed to run out of things quickly with a wait to be restocked. Still for what you pay, it's a decent steak dinner. If you're not there for that, then maybe somewhere else would be a better choice price wise. The younger guy at the steak section was friendly and helpful but the older gentleman just looked like he hated every minute behind the counter.

If I could give 10 stars to our waitress Heather, I would!! I watched her hustle hard the whole time we were eating. Moving table to table,serving customers and completing task left and right and the whole time with a smile and providing great customer service to all. Way to go Heather you did a awesome job

I have to give them 3 stars. They lost 2 stars, from cleanliness of the men's restroom and another star because the French toast was cold. Sometimes I like breakfast for dinner. Maybe they forgot about the hard eggs and french toast when dinner started. One person did stand out, our server. Joy was highly skilled, great balance, and had prompt service everytime. She deserved her tip.

Very clean Golden Coral, you can management keeps the staff busy with brooms, mops, and hand towels. Food is good with quick turnover of product

Golden Corral was a great experience for my family as for they have never been and my wife is a German who said, "Delicious". Food selections were fantastic as well very tasty. Safety and cleanness was 5 stars. Service was awesome, staff greeted and smiled. Atmosphere was pleasant for both adults and children. I recommend the Golden Corral to anyone who is looking for a simple and fantastic buffet.

So disappointing. The meatloaf smelled like dog food. The fried jalapeño’s were cold. I tried to feed the meatloaf the jalapeño, but it didn’t like it either. What happened to this place!!!!?

Country like southern buffet. You should be able to find something here to eat. The food is dry and somewhat bland. I wouldn’t expect a buffet like this to have flavorful food as they try to cater to everyone. There is several meats including fried chicken, fish, steak. All of which are not top quality but at this price point you can’t expect that. This location has a Mongolian grill. There are several deserts, ice cream, and an icee machine.

Sat for a hour and never once received our food. The other three who were with us got their food in less than 20 mins but we sat and never once got ours but kept being told "it'll come out soon! It'll be out soon!" Then the manager even after we kept saying just cancel the order was so hell bent on us staying until our food came out and we eventually just left. The cornbread they did bring out was the blandest thing I've ever had in my life. Will never eat here again.

Clean uncrowded early Sunday morning Plenty of choices. Fried okra for breakfast. Fresh baked quiche too. No complaining from me. $13.49 seniors is about like anywhere else that’s not a buffet. Here you get so many options and you don’t have to stuff yourself

My Mom and I love going to Golden Corral. They have EVERYTHING !! Grilled steaks to baked chicken and fried or grilled fish to a fantastic salad and dessert bar! The price is very fair and the food and service are great !!

Lots of people think that Golden Corral is over-rated, but me personally; I Love the place! I Love fresh salads more than I like fast food: hands down. Fast foods cost $8-$10 for lunch, and for another $1; You can enjoy healthy, unlimited eating with deserts! It's a no-brainer!!!

Food was hot and delicious. I had ordered a to go order, and I got there around 5 minutes before they said it would be ready and Megan had it expedited. She was very lovely to talk to, and very friendly with my kids. I'll be coming back. Food is definitely worth the price.

Not the best Golden Corral that I have been too. The food presentation was poorly executed, some food appeared to have been setting for some time without being stirred or refilled. The items that I tried were for the most part ok, but not anything special. I did enjoy the fried chicken, it was moist and perfectly seasoned. I normally like the dessert bar but at this restaurant most of the dessert items looked unappetizing, I ended up having a soft serve ice cream. The restaurant was busy so this may explain the issues. On a high note, the waitress service was excellent with our server being friendly and made sure that our drinks were refilled and table cleared.

We came to this location for a group dinner for my son. His coach organized a team outing and was quoted a special price for the players. Upon arrival, no one seemed to understand that we had a special price for the players. Even with the email from the manager to prove what we were saying, they were still trying to ring the players up at normal price. The cashiers were rude and not helpful in the situation. The adults payed normal price. That was already understood. When we paid we asked about the military discount. We have always gotten a military discount at Golden corals. We were told very bluntly and rudely that they don't do a discount for military. We paid and sat down. Just for curiosity, we asked another manager when they stopped the discount and she said they never did one. When we said yes they did that we always got one she asked who the cashier was that gave it to us so she could fire her. And she so rudely stated that a military discount was not needed because veterans day was enough.so needless to say this is the last time I will ever eat at this location.

Glorified school cafeteria It looks nice from the outside, and it was decently busy to the targeted population, but it was not good. The only flavor was butter which is interesting considering how dry all the meat was. The food options were only fried and flavorless. The atmosphere was like an old smelly cafeteria. Definitely NOT worth the price.

This isn't my normal choice of food however , my son chose this for his 9th birthday dinner. The food was fresh, warm, and never empty. Our server was attentive, and each person we ran into was so very polite. It's the folks who made it enjoyable for me.

Always good food at the GC. Breakfast and lunch on the buffet at the same time. You can't go wrong y'all.

Cashier did not pay attention. Charged only for one person instead of two. When I realized and went back only a few minutes later to pay, cashiers had a hard time figuring out what and how. Both times I received incorrect change. The variety of food options was great. There are options for meat eaters as well as vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, lactose intolerant, and for allergic to certain products too.

Dude! Its great! Food variety and great taste, and nice friendly staff. Great for the family and kids!

I haven't been to this Golden corral in a very long time but, it was good. There was a lot of people there and the lines flowed very smoothly. I totally appreciate that. The food was very fresh and I had no issues or concerns. Sometimes eating out makes you wonder about the freshness of the food that you're receiving but, I didn't have that issue this time. I needed something quick and clean and it was right on time. I appreciate it.

Beef, steak, baked and bbq chicken, meatloaf, wings and tons of sides. The wait was 15-20 mins for Sunday lunch. Very packed, kids running around and not the cleanest floor. Staff was nice and cleaned the tables regularly. It takes a while to get food with the lines for a Sunday lunch. The thing I really didn’t like is that I called ahead to ask about the price and they said ~$11.99 per person and when we paid it more because they gave us the wrong info over the phone.

We sat in coreys section tonight and he was absolutely amazing!!! Went out of his way to make sure we had drinks and a clean table!! Watched him actually wash a highchair from top to bottom. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST

Nasty!!! Coffee was watery, orange juice hadn't been mixed properly so the concentrate sat on bottom of the glass and separated from the water. Food was disgusting!!! Every breakfast bread-type if item was hard. French toast was difficult to cut. Cheese grits tasted like nothing. They were orange but tasted nothing like cheese. Hashbrown casserole wasn't cooked all the way. The oatmeal was the consistency of wallpaper paste. How the heck do you screw up oatmeal??!! Oatmeal from Cape Fear Valley tasted a million times better. Not a single oat was found in my bowl, just paste mush. The US sides are: wonderful server and clean restrooms. We'll have to find a new breakfast spot, it has gone downhill significantly.

Definitely crowed but it evident why. The food was good. Two things that annoyed me was how rude hostesses and how pricey it is now. I mean I’m not an frequent GC visitor but sheesh I didn’t realize it was that high. But other than that everything was good. Our waitress was very attentive and super sweet!

Everything was great. Right when we walked, everyone was very pleasant. Our server Angela was right on top of things. The steaks were fantastic, in fact all of the food was amazing. I also have to say that it is possibly the cleanest one we have ever been in.

Where is the Deserts? This my 3rd visit and still no cakes chocolate chip cookies or even Pies all I see is oatmeal cookies come on…this 1 star review will remain until then

The Lady, working on the Dessert Bar, was very rude. She was also extremely slow at getting all of the desserts stocked up. I went up there, for dessert, I could not find anything that was not mostly crumbs left. When asked if she was going to put any more pies out, she took it out on the customer. The rest of the food was good and the other staff were very nice.

The food is always great but this evening the guy cooking the steaks only had several of them ready but they were all cooked WELL DONE..He said he wasn't cooking anymore until the ones he has gets gone..but..when this woman approached him wanting a Medium Rare,, he was flirting hot and heavy with her and suddenly his whole ATTITUDE changed and he made her a Medium Rare steak!!! Then they ran out of SOUP BOWLS for 35 minutes along with the cups for the ice cream!!!! Totally Ridiculous!!! The Cashier and the Waitress were EXCELLENT!!! I have NO Complaints towards them....
