Crematorium

Historical landmark

👍👍 This was a great tour of the past. You can spend hours here looking around. Lots of reading, if you are into it. The tour guide is great, takes you through the entire complex. Sad to see that this was a reality for some.

This is a hard one to rate. How do you give a crematorium 5 stars? I did do, because I believe everyone should see this.

It is unimaginable. No words can describe this place. Go and understand what it is like to be at the peak of inhumanity and I would also recommend to watch the documentry "The Last Days" on Netflix.

A sad place to be at but this place is kept the way it is to remind us to not repeat such mistakes again. Imagine all the horror and agony those fallen had to go through.

Prepared to be emotionally moved to your very core. The main exhibit is fantastically set out and of course the rest speaks for itself. My only disappointment was the insensitive sightseers taking selfies in the most inappropriate places.

A very sad story about war... Everything is explained well and concisely. You can find plenty of information about each room or section inside the building. And don't forget to walk around the crematorium building. There are multiple points to visit outside the building and in the green area which are not loacted in Google Maps.

Essential sites for us to visit in our times. Entering Dachau is free and only costs us our time and emotional investment.

I visited June of 2009. It was gutwrenching and heartbreaking. I am so glad that I went as it was an eye opening experience. The museum was very well planned and informative. If you can, absolutely make a trip here.

Was very interesting place to see how the camp use to work and the events that happened here… the crematorium has plenty of information signs all around explains what occurred in each room, the rest of the camp was also very good place to learn about the camp… also bring comfy shoes because the whole place is filled with small pebbles and can be uncomfortable

you can witness in the cemetry the torturing and killing procedure of the victims. the place is well renovated to keep the atmosphere of terror around. after you pass the sections of the building you can go behind the building to see the execution and the ash corners in the forest.

A quiet and solemn memorial to those who were exterminated by the 3rd Reich.
