From the outside and the surrounding area of the hotel is nice. However, don't let it fool you as the rooms have furniture and decoration from late 1990s. While this in itself isn't a problem, for the price of the hotel, you'd expect a more modern or newer amenities in the room. Additionally, there was only one person working the front desk when we are checking in. Not sure if this is with all the rooms but our carpet had a smell and the windows are not very sound proof as we could overhear other guests chatting and smoking until 2am with our windows closed. The parking is also an issue as the hotel does not separate parking for the restaurant and hotel guests, creating unnecessary chaos. It would be nice if they create a separate bike lane for the guests who use it so when cars entering and leaving the parking lot, it is safer for both the cars and the cyclists. One last thing, upon check out, it was pointed out hotel WiFi costs 8 Euro a night. One suggestion to the hotel: Don't list this! Or better yet waive the charge! It's 2022, not 2005!

rooms are non smoking but THEY LET PEOPLE SMOKE ON BALCONIES and since there is no air conditioning windows have to be open. what that means is whenever your neighbors smoke on the balcony the smoke gets around into your room. total nonsense. they should tell people to go outside to smoke. this is preferential treatment for smokers. very unpleasant experience. the lady at the front desk did not sympathize with me

Marketed as a relaxing Alpine getaway but did not deliver. Great view, nice room and good food but without access to the health services a total waste of money. No appointments available for any service and it was not overly busy or a weekend. Very disappointing.

We’ve traveled a lot of places in Europe and don’t normally leave reviews. But as I depend on them a lot when deciding where to book, we felt like this place warranted one. The hotel and the rooms are fantastic and the location is amazing, but the service is the worst we’ve experienced in Europe. I attribute this mostly to us speaking English. Most places we’ve been are totally accommodating and we did our best to communicate in German, but the staff is outright rude if you aren’t fluent. The dinner is not worth the price (go to the Castle Brewery up the road instead!), but the breakfast is good. Would not stay here again. P.S. all saunas are nude so heads up. Tried to look into that before coming out here and couldn’t find any info on it. Hopefully helpful for other English speakers.

Lovely stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the lake. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very good leisure facilities (and washing/drying machines for those who need them). Food was plentiful, interesting, varied and well prepared.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family including 2 kids. We had a family room which was ideal for us, the main room was quite large with a small lounge area and balcony. There was also a separate small bedroom with large bunkbeds for the kids. We used the outdoor pool twice during our stay, a great facility to relax and view the mountains after a long day. We were also able to grab drinks from the small "honesty bar" in the spa area. Food was excellent. We were on a Half Board option. Breakfast was varied and plentiful (my daughter enjoyed the rhubarb juice which we found quite unique and also the selection of pastries, breads and preserves). The dinner choices were also good - they have a buffet area for starters/salads which was excellent. We tried the tomahawk steak one evening and it was well worth the 50 euro supplement. Finally, the bar area was nice and the staff helpful. They had a great selection of gins (a nice change from the beer) and even had some local Algau gins. Great base for exploring the area and staying locally meant we were able to get up to the Neuschwanstein castle early before it got too busy.

staff is friendly. WiFi is weak in most places. they offer EV charging which is a plus. mattress was worn out. room is clean. the spa has some nice touches and various saunas with different temperatures. we went in the summertime. so the ferry that stops at the hotel was busy. our room faced the loading zone for kitchen supplies. so we woke up early. truck driver arrive and leave the music on in their trucks. that happens around 4:49am. bring noise cancelling headphones. there are plenty of rooms facing the loading zone: I wonder why this hasn’t been a bigger issue. breakfast buffet is decent and has ready to order egg dishes, french toast and famous for the region ‘palatschinken’[like a pancake] I recommend the dinner combo with buffet and meal to choose from the menu. has all you ever needed. shout out to our waiter Moritz. he went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and was very attentive on two separate dinner events. kudos. the room has no a/c which is bad considering the heat in the summer time. obviously something the local can manage somehow sleeping in 80F environment. parking outside is free and costly in the parking deck below the hotel. the parking garage has two e-car chargers. hopefully more to come.

Very good hotel can recommend to anybody who is thinking of staying in Füssen. Very friendly hotel staff and especially the manger who is always available and was very friendly and also extremely helpful. Excellent Food and a choice of many Germany or continental food. Also a choice of fish every day and of course vegetarian meals too. The room was immaculate clean on a daily basis and true to the photographs, the same for Spa and swimming pool. Also the best nights sleep we have had in a long time, you could hear a pin drop so quite. We will be booking or next holiday there very soon,

Nice and friendly wellness hotel for a relaxing weekend. Perfect for hiking or a trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. Rooms are spacious, newly furnished and clean. Breakfast and dinner (half-board) are tasty and offer a large selection. The wellness area can be quite crowded and especially for a treatment it's necessary to book ahead.
