Changed the watch battery in 45 minutes as communicated by the assisstant

First of all I wanted to replace my Mineral Crystal glass from my Swiss Torgoen so I decided to go to a jeweler that has the best reputation in town, so I went to the Christ store located in the Breuningerland Ludwigsburg and asked how much would it cost to replace the glass and the seals and test it under pressure for water resistance. They asked me to take of the watch for a few minutes, the nice cashier dissapeared in the back with the watch and came back with it, telling me that it will cost around 100-120 euros and it would take approx. 2 weeks, because it has to be ordered and so on. I told the cashier that I have to think about it and brought the watch to another jeweler and asked the same thing, the same procedure happened but insted of 100-120 euros the price was 28 euros for the same glass, the same model, the same job and it will take 5 to six days. Well let me think about it. Well warranty is warranty and a mineral crystal stays the same in my eyes especially when it comes from the same source - Sternkreuz.I guess Christ is not putting much accent on satisfied customers, instead rather on making big money.
