New place that just opened in the area (though they have two other branches in Munich): "Lady Thao" offers a huge variety of vegan dishes that are rich in taste but still light and elegant. While Vietnamese by heart, the sushi (vegan, veg and pesce) is excellent. Great variety of beers and extremely friendly. Also prices are really fair. Definitely coming back.

The vegan red curry was sooo good! At first, I thought the prices seemed a bit high, but once I got the order, I saw exactly why. Very good quality vegetables, heeps of tofu, and that sauce. 🤤

Excellent vegan options for maki and sushi rolls.

The food was very delicious and that deserves 5 stars. Between 5 people we ordered the special Soft-shell crab sushi, dragon sushi, rice paper noodle, spicy dumplings which we cannot fault and 2 other dishes (keep reading ..). In fact the sushi was so good we ordered the same twice (we were also still hungry...). Service could be better (2.5-3 stars). It was a busy night and we all felt they were slightly understaffed. In the end we never got our calamari and soft shell crab dish (explains why we ordered the sushi twice). In hindsight, we never really checked the bill so in the end not sure if we even paid for it because with absolute certainty the wait staff definitely wrote it down and even repeated our order. Will come back again to give them a second chance as they are new and their food deserves it.

Very cosy atmosphere. Lovely interior. Staff really friendly and attentive. The food was nothing delicious but tasty. The bread crumbs they used to deep fry shrimps were a bit too big for my taste but other than that it was good.

The inside of the restaurant is quite cute. There’s a good choice of vegan options. We took some appetizers to share: the food was ok, however definitely overpriced for the small portions that you get. It was nice to stop by once, but there are better places in Munich.

Good ambience and above average food. Wide variety of dishes with good vegan options. One star deducted for customer service, the waiter wasn’t friendly and indicated it was time to leave after we had finished the meal (even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded).

I went on a sweltering Friday afternoon and has a wonderful meal-crispy duck with the oyster sauce tons of veggies (asparagus, broccoli, lotus root, etc.). I was very well pleased that they swapped rice for quinoa for me.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good but my fish was very dry. Server messed up the drink order several times.

The Sushi Don at Co Thao is so yummy - can definitely recommend it. It’s the perfect amount for lunch and so delicious! Great ambience and service as well.

A cosy Asian (primarily Vietnamese) restaurant in Haidhausen. The ambience is vibrant and relaxed. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with 2 spots by the window (aim for this) The service is friendly (a bit slow sometimes). The have a separate lunch menu. We ordered the M3.B (Chicken with vegetables in Oyster sauce) and M3.A (Chicken and vegetables in red curry). Both the mains were served with a bowl of rice. They curries were flavorful with low spice levels. They also offer mains with Tofu, which would be an option for vegans. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

The interior is nice and the food quite good, although very expensive for the size. But god was the service slow. It took 45min for the starter and another 45 min for the main dishes. Really nice people working there but just too many outside tables.

Godd food, yes for sure - but on a table of six we keot getting served wrong dishes. Two people ended up with the wrong food because in addition the language of the waiters was hard to understand. Two sushi rolls were served together with a menu to others and we only noticed because we were not served.. We didnt have to pay those but were not offered a discount in return. Afterall we did not get the food we ordered. It's hard to comprehend how this can happen, especially since it was not really crowded that night.

service was perfect, restaurant looked just as good as on the pictures, restaurant was easy to find and food so tasty 🥰 it was very calm atmosphere in there which is a plus. we will definitely come back!

Very tasty food but unfortunately way too pricy for the small dishes (Pho is not a normal Pho size you’d normally get). Weinschorle is basically only water with a little sip of wine. The staff was nice and helpful.

Despite the announced opening times on the internet, the kitchen wasn't ready yet, so we had to wait a bit. The dishes were good and the staff was entertaining. With a little more improvement in communication things could go better. And from my point of view, the chef should stop taking his smoking break right at the entrance, because I don't think it's considered that great. Otherwise everything is fine.

Fabulous area, great vibes, good service, and okayish food.

Excellent food. Staff a bit stressed but friendly. Lots of locals eating here. Come early or book a table. Would eat again for sure.
