    Visited Steak and Shake today dined in... first we had to feed ourselves so I grabbed us menus and placemats because there were no placemats menus silverware nothing was on the table . We ordered two 4 for 4 orders. We Waited an hour for our food and mine was incorrect. I asked to speak to a manager who told the waitress that she could not speak to me so I insist it that the manager come out and talk to me since I've waited over and hour for wrong food. When the manager came out and spoke to me she reaches my order made them remake it brought it to me and it was still wrong and when I called her on it she brought back what was missing and then I asked her to take this awesome my bills because after waiting over an hour for wrong food and it come back twice long I didn't see I should pay for it considering its only $4. She said that she would not take it off the bills that she could only discount it and I told her I would not eat this food she could take it back I did not want to recharge for and I'm not going to eat it and literally this food is going to sit on the table because I wish used to eat it. I will never eat it too Steak and Shake again because the management has no concern for its customers. Customer service it this location is completely nonexistent. The entire restaurant only have one waitress waiting tables and she's about in her sixties or seventies with arthritis so you can imagine it's a service is going to be pretty slow.

    I went to Halls Ferry/I-270 Steak n Shake (STL) just before closing. The food was horrible, unsanitary kitchen conditions, the manager had a bad attitude. One employee realized I was recording and ran back to tell the manager. He was talking real nasty, and rude until he realized I was recording. The burgers were pre-cooked and laid out on the grill, and then they would microwave them to serve them to the customers.

    Put our order in (was a big order I think $54) they repeated everything back we get our order and we missing 2 full meals all of the French fries all the drinks and the onion ring. We went in twice cuz it still wSnt correct. By the time we finally left the food we had already was now cold waiting on other food. The people were nice about it and gave me a free shake but should have been refunded.

    I hadn't been in a while, so I was surprised that no one was there to wait on us. We now order from a screen and fix our own drinks. What was crazy is that they asked for a tip when placing your on-screen order.

    First, I will Ike to applaud the manager that was on duty. He was astonishing as well as notably on top of job duties on the dine in floor and his team members. Just a few downfalls based on my observation was the wait time but that’s typical these days also the tables was a little dirty…. But overall my experience was pleasant.

    This particular visit even though they tried to make it right it still was wrong...when something is forgotten then another trip happens the other food quality suffers, who wants to warm up pickles or even take their burger apart and put it in the microwave...and be told to come inside after going thru drive thru...then to be three cars behind then to see someone standing from inside with your food while your other food awaits at home getting cold. Everybody else in the house enjoyed there's I was over it non for awhile for me.

    It took 20 or more minutes to get our food, and It wasn't that busy. The drive-thru girl was nice but didn't make up for the long wait on food.

    I like my burgers with crispy edges. However, although I always request my burgers this way, most times they don't comply. The burgers are still good but those crispy edges take em to the next level!

    The Male Manager Is Awesome He Was Trying His Best To Make Sure My Order Was Fixed & I Left Happy He Even Paid For Our Order Again Then Another Lady Tia Came Over & Started Arguing With Us About An Order That Was Paid For Twice Saying We Couldnt Get A Refund & We Couldnt Get The Drinks For The Order, My Order Was Incorrect, She Gave Me A Bowl Of Grease Instead Of Chili With No Crackers Or Spoon, The Girl Kailey At The Window Wasnt Trained Properly. She Took My Order Wrong, Took It Wrong Again & Again This Location Is Ghetto Tia & Kailey Will Choose To Go Back & Forth With You Instead Of Trying To Fix The Problems. I’m Very Aggrivated Then Realized My Order Was Still Wrong, Didnt Get A Recipet Or Corporates Number. NEVER AGAIN. DONT COME HERE

    Been missing this place for over 20 yrs. West Coast is missing out! The thick shakes are drinkable and amazing. The steak style burgers are well made and flavorful and the service staff were all kind and helpful. We had two burgers, two shakes, an extra order of fries, and a Coke and it only came to about $30. Good luck getting fresh made quality food like that at the Golden Arches. I will be eating here again.

    Do not go to this place it takes 30 minutes to make a burger and fries. And it was one person in front of me just ridiculous They don't gaf and I won't be surprised when it close again
