About 95% of the wine I drink comes from Western Market. Their wine selection and the knowledgeable folks working the wine section make Western one of the best places to buy wine in metro Detroit. Prepared foods are excellent. They have recently remodeled and the store looks better than ever.

This review is specifically to the owner Chris W. I appreciate your response to the reviewer with a service animal. I would like to share another perspective. I am very grateful for your diligence in making sure people are not bringing their house animals into a store filled with groceries. The fact that you took the time to inquire and ensure this was an acceptable circumstance speaks volumes of the integrity of the team and your commitment to cleanliness of the store. Very respectable and very much appreciated!

Their beer section is always fresh and interesting, I'm always coming in to see what new selection they have. I appreciate the amount of local smaller brewers they carry you can really find something unique and delicious everytime. Their very knowledgeable staff always give me great recommendations it's a good sign that folks really care here.

I've been a shopper at Western Market since 2016. They've donated silent auction items to my job the Ruth Ellis Center and have since me through my first pregnancy and greet my baby like family. I absolutely LOVE that store but mostly the folks who work there. Keke, Alex, Crispin and the bunch are phenomenal.

It's a little on the high side, price wise, but you get what you pay for. Alot of the items there, you don't find anywhere else. They stock many Metro Detroit & Michigan products, they even make some of their own stuff (the honey 'infused' peanut butter is to die for) & everything, I've purchased there, has been top quality, I love that it is very organized, clean & plenty of free parking (but watch out for 'roaming' shopping carts). Also 99% of the people that work there are very nice and accommodating! IT IS ALL WORTH IT!

Consistently some of the best produce and boasting a fairly well stocked pantry of more diverse, higher quality seasonings, cheeses, wines, beer, teas, coffees, etc. It would be a stretch to say you can do all of the shopping you ever need to do here, but if you need great service and a convenient place to dash in and out of any weeknight or for a special meal, you'd be happy to have an option like this in your neighborhood. I've been coming here for more than 20 years, and as the world has changed around us, this place has not--I mean that in a very good way.

I love to stop at Wester Market for their soups and vegan options. Can't express enough how fresh their fish/meats are. Tried Trout for the first time, and it turned out amazing 👏

Clean store and friendly staff. They had Godfall Turkey Canadian Bacon, first time I had that was from Sam's Club and the pack was 3x bigger for only a couple of dollars more. They had it for 1 mo. I have been looking for it everywhere since. They had Items I never saw before. Beautiful plants. I can't go often. This might be my speciality store for the holidays. A little pricey for me. But worth it.
