The front desk staff sit "too busy" on their personal phones and lie to people by saying that they don't have water bottles for guests that pay hundreds of dollars for poor quality beds in rooms with very loud air conditioners and doors/walls through which you can hear every tone some one flushes or is talking. Disrespectful staff 24/7 available to charge you $3/20oz water bottle. The only great aspect of this experience was the wonderful daytime shuttle driver who is extremely kind and professional.

Stayed at this hotel Aug16-Aug18th for a work trip, upon our arrival the first thing you could smell as you enter the doorway as gas. Upon entry the lobby of the hotel looks amazing, clean, modern, and very nice. Tuesday night during my first stay I found hair follicles under the duvet, although it was super later when I finally made it back to the room I slept on top of the duvet which was wrapped in a sheet. The duvet was dingy and very old and not the original white linen color that it was supposed to be. The wallpaper in my room was peeling off, and the room had a very dusty old odor to it. The tube was clean however like the duvet very dingy and overtime as dirt builds up the tube loses its natural white color. The worst part of it all was finding 4 bugs in the room at 3am Wednesday night Thursday morning which is when I was scheduled to check out. One bug was rather larger but the other 3 were tiny black bugs crawling at the head board. I was so grossed out that I decided to sleep on the couch wrapped in the sheet hoping there were no bed bugs/bugs on the couch. Upon checking out I mentioned it to the Front Desk associate or manager who did NOT even offer one apology! He made no eye to eye contact with me and was more concerned about what time I needed the shuttle to come pick me up then the bed bugs that were in the room or an apology. SORRY SERVICE AND A SORRY DISGUSTING HOTEL!!! NEVER WILL I EVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I wasn't concerned about a refund considering this was a work trip, it was the lack of customer service and the nonchalant disregard of the nasty bed bugs that were in the room. Considering we are living in a pandemic on top of Monkey Pox going around I would not recommend anyone to stay here at all! Clearly they do not care about their current or future guest due to the lack of cleaning and the terrible terrible customer service. DISGUSTING!

Very nice and comfortable hotel nearby the airport of course. Only negative was $18 breakfast they charge here, but it's the free standard breakfast they offer at other Hilton hotels. Other than that it's was a great stay, front desk, shuttle, and restaurant service was very good. Oh don't forget about Dinner it was good as well. Oh rooms aren't quiet, can hear conversations from neighbors.

I always stay at this DoubleTree prior to early morning flights from BWI and each of my recent stays (3 within the past 2 months) has been seamless! From check-in to shuttle service to the terminal, their efficiency is just marvelous! Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable and while I have not eaten there, there is an on-site restaurant and bar for your convenience, but plenty other eating options within a 1 mile distance from the hotel if you are driving. They also offer the convenience of leaving your car parked at the hotel while you travel for an additional $8/night. This feature is so convenient as their shuttle will take you to the terminal and pick you up upon your return! Great service all around and that is why I'll always stay here before an early morning flight and not have to fight the DC/BALT rush hour to get to the airport on time!

I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM to get some sleep. The king bed room we were given had a soaking wet carpet with a big black noisy machine drying it. The AC did not work. The bed had no sheets, only a comforter. We were eventually moved to another room with 2 double beds at 1:30 AM.

Giving one star feels generous. This place is awful. They were called and informed people were waiting for the shuttle and said someone was on their way. We didn't see anyone for over an hour. It took a very long time to check in. Once checked in, I went up to the room and it hadn't been cleaned. There was garbage, towels on the floor, bed hadn't been made, dresser drawers open, etc. I went to the front desk and instead of apologizing and giving me another room, they sent a male employee up with me to check the room. He obviously agreed it hadn't been cleaned. Their solution was to have me sit in the chair in the dirty room at 10pm and wait for housekeeping. Once housekeeping came, I was to sit in the chair in the dirty room while she cleaned the room. In the morning, still no apology. The room wasn't cleaned. They didn't give me a new room. Instead I had to stay in the dirty room and wait for housekeeping.

Our stay was not on par with what we’re used to with the Hilton brand. The pictures make it look nicer than it really is. Parking is difficult. Narrow spaces and few spots to be had. The hotel felt and looked dated. The tub filled with water while taking a shower. The shower temperature was unpredictable from too cold to scalding. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Monique checked us in. She is an absolute doll. It's not a terrible place but can't be the best that's out there. As an honors member, I did expect more. Room 460 needs a deep cleaning. Avoid looking behind dressers. My wife slept on top of me due to the valley created in the middle of the king bed. You'll stand in ankle deep water when you take a shower because it drains slow. Monique wrote everything down, so I hope the defects get corrected. Oh, no continental breakfast. 14 bucks for a bowl of oatmeal.

Amazing customer service, cleanliness, a warm welcome by the manager with polite conversation, fresh cookies, and even an early check-in. We were in a very clean room and everything was magnificent there. We couldn't have asked for more! Thanks for making our stay so lovely. Highly recommend this stay.

The first time we stayed here it was amazing! Def 5 stars. However, we just stayed this past weekend for 1 night and it was not a wonderful experience. We had a long day of traveling and just wanted to relax and take a hot shower. The shower was cold and never warmed up even after letting it run for 20 minutes. Another issue we had is they were hosting a wedding event. This wedding had tons of guests. We had to leave to go to the store and then came back and they made us park in overflow flow parking which wasn’t a bad walk up a flight of steps to get to but we were exhausted. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have the wedding guests park in that lot since they would not be staying. If they weee staying then sure park wherever. For an event with this many guests they should have just booked the hotel out. Was super noisy all night I barely slept. Have never stayed in a hotel and not had peace and quiet. Even at a lower rated hotel. As always thought the cookies were super on point! It’s honestly the only reason why we wanted to stay there again. If we ever do consider coming back (we travel to the area multiple times a month), I will definitely be calling ahead to see if there’s an event.

I belong to the reward program so that would suggest I use the service a lot. I was not happy that the room heater didn't blow hot air. I will say that it was still comfortable with the large clean quilt. My friend and I enjoyed a large room with a nice size TV to boot!

My stay at this remarkable hotel was truly unforgettable, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by the front desk concierge, Fitz, and the evening manager, Ernest. Despite a brief booking mishap, they both went above and beyond to rectify the situation promptly. Their professionalism, efficiency, and swift handling of the matter were truly remarkable. Together, their coordination and commitment to resolving the issue created an experience that will truly be cherished. From now on, whenever I travel to the BWI area, I will FOREVER choose to stay at this location. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

Had a great two-night stay here! Rooms were large, clean, and well-appointed. Very friendly staff - particularly Bradford, who is the security guard who also helps behind the desk when needed and made a special effort to helps us with parking and cookies! =-) Weekends are quite busy, particularly later night arrivals given it’s an airport hotel. However, they handled everything well, and we were very pleased with the stay.

The hotel smelled like gas. Spoke with rude Kyle at the front desk about it. He stated management was aware as this has been going on for weeks and they were not going to do anything about it. He brushed me off to speak with the next guest that walked up. This is very dangerous for the guest and employees to be in. The next day (Sunday) I'm coming out of the bathroom naked and housing keeping is entering my room at 10am. I went to the front desk and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager (did not want to provide his name to me) explained to him what happened and why are they entering my room at 10am if check out is not until 12pm. He confirmed check out was at 12 and stated house keeping is short staffed. I told him there was not an excuse as to why they were entering my room so early. He apologized and asked if I wanted coffee or a cookie. Like why would I want coffee or a cookie when I was just violated by entering a room we paid for. Overall the room was nice! Doubletree needs to do better with their staff

Great location with many restaurants to choose from outside the hotel. The room was comfortable. Breakfast had no variety although you can have fried eggs or an omelette made. But for $18 I except more choices

The employees at this hotel were friendly, professional and helpful- I would stay here again for that reason alone. The beds were comfortable and the location made our stay convenient for the work function I was here for. The only room for improvement would be some updates to fix small things in the rooms (my room's privacy blinds were broken so that they could not be opened- I switched rooms and that one had no privacy blinds at all, only blackout curtains; my co-worker's toilet was not working upon arrival and needed a fix). A positive experience overall. Thank you to the kind, hardworking staff for helping make my work trip a pleasant one!

Poor experience. I had a (pre-paid) reservation and when I arrived they informed me they were oversold and had no rooms for me. After a lot of patience, they eventually managed to track down a room that was adequate (not what I had reserved). The room was clean, although showing a lot of signs of wear. Breakfast experience the next morning was similar to the room - clean, adequate, but no where near the level that this hotel claims to be.

Everything but the food was good. Breakfast was really bad and not with $18 the breakfast didn't have juice just coffee and water and I don't even drink coffee. I should have just went to McDonald's it would have been better. The room was and clean so that's a major plus.

I want to give an outstanding review of the staff at this Hotel, namely ALYSSA, and the front desk ladies who welcomed me when I arrived for long-term, off-site parking for BWI. First, this Hotel is a GREAT location and option for parking's great rates, a shuttle that is 24/7 and really fast. The drivers I had were friendly, kind and helpful and I kept my keys and health with humans over the phone and the entire experience for me was great. More importantly, I had a slow tire leak upon my arrival and knew I had to find a credible service source upon my return 15 days later. I called the Hotel 2 days prior to my return and got the amiable and pleasant ALYSSA who suggested a nearby service center. I called the service center, gave them a heads up to my situation and felt instantly relieved!! In an age of the death of customer service and a dearth of human interaction I applaud this Hotel and it's staff...they are wonderful!!

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and supportive. Shout out to Darcy and Jackie! They were so warm and welcoming and helpful. The shuttle driver was super kind and helpful, too. Thank you for such great service. Please let housekeeping know to not be so aggressive on knocking doors for housekeeping. Thank you!

Aces across the board! Super clean updated room in beautiful condition! Quiet as well which isn't a must for me personally but appreciated nonetheless! The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. I was on the 6th floor and yet the water for hot nearly instantly which was a super happy surprise! Parking was a bit constricted however as they do airport hosting and breakfast is $18 per person should you so choose. Burned some calories chasing vending machines that A) took dollar bills and B) had water left in them. On the whole I would without hesitation stay here and recommend here!!

We've stayed here multiple times before early morning flights. It's so convenient, and the long-term parking option is great (especially with the free shuttle). The hotel is clean and comfortable. What really stands out is the staff. They consistently go above and beyond what's required to be as kind and helpful as possible. Today, when we returned to our car in the rain after a 12 hour day of travel, we found a very dead battery. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. They helped us get a jump start and gave us extra water and cookies. They even offered to give me their space heater to warm up my frozen hands. They were absolutely lovely. This is the kind of thing that makes a place stand out. I hope the management realizes what kind of talent they have on staff and rewards them accordingly.

I came here for educational seminar however I did not book a room. While our event was highly populated, the restroom facility remained clean and the hotel grounds were very clean. The staff at the hotel was patient and calm. During our luncheon we requested gender specific staff so only females which we received. The food was pretty good, we had a salmon covered in a sauce.

I stayed here overnight due to a scheduled layover at BWI. The airport shuttle drivers were very nice and helpful. The front desk staff were very nice as well, and I enjoyed the complimentary “DoubleTree Cookie”. I’m a bit curious why my hallway on my floor smelled, yet my room smelled fine. Other quests I presume. My only other question is why the 3-wheeled luggage carts aren’t better maintained? I had a hard time with them, and dropped my luggage once due to the disrepair. I recommend using the larger 4-wheeled carts; especially if you have heavy luggage. Other than those two things my stay was great! Thanks to all the staff.

This hotel has very visible security staff which I found unusual. The security staff provides a rude greeting at the front entrance and doesn’t allow guests to unload their baggage from the vehicle. Why???? The hotel was sold out which is fine. But the very visible security did nothing to enforce quiet hours for the large clientele… in the building or outside. Other guests were allowed to have overly loud conversations and play loud music way passed midnight In their rooms and in the parking lot. On a positive note: The rooms are clean and comfortable

My wife and I had a good stay here. My favorite amenity there is the 24/7 airport shuttle. Picks up every 30 minutes. The driver who works the mornings in great! Room was spacious. Could use a better updated TV but was good for a night. Showers have shampoo and conditioner already there in cool dispensers in the shower. Would go here again for a stay if flying out of BWI

I never have any issues at this hotel. Very sweet staff. only issue I had was this past stay there were some guys trying to steal my tires off my Honda Civic! so be careful if you have sports wheels or nice rims. THE DC AREA HAS HAD A HUGE STEALING TIRES SPREE. luckily the guys did not get the tires because the staff caught them.. sadly no arrests happened. thanks again to the hotel staff who kindly taped my window and refunded my stay.
