This past weekend we stayed at the Embassy Suites at BWI. We spent 36,000 points for a suite and were super disappointed. When we arrived our room only had two towels and three pillows, which clearly isn’t enough. The room overall felt dated and honestly dirty. The carpeting was pulling up in the common areas. The shower was tiny (see photo) and there was mold around the whole base. The shelf in the shower had been ripped out of the wall and never put back up, so our shampoo and soaps had to be placed on the floor (see photo). The floor of the shower was also poorly patched leaving it super rough. The toilet paper holder had also been ripped from the wall and not replaced (see photo). We told the front desk, but I think they misunderstood and sent us extra soap and toilet paper. The staff was struggling due to the hotel being booked and them being stretched thin. The evening reception was poor. We were limited to three drink options and poor bar snacks. There were only two staff members, so the drink line backed up to the lobby. Again, we have no complaints with the staff, there just weren’t enough of them. Then for breakfast they couldn’t keep up with the crowds. There was only one person bring out food, which left the counters a mess and everything constantly empty. The man was trying so hard to keep up and he was so kind, but in a fully booked hotel, one person is not enough for this task. The parking lot was dark and there were hardly any open spots. We came across a car (not far from our own) with a smashed window and all the tires missing (see photo). There were no cameras or security around the parking lot, which was super alarming. Additionally, this was my first stay I have had since achieving Hilton honors diamonds status and nothing was mentioned or provided regarding my status during my stay.

This was not a comfortable stay for us. It was not a nice Embassy Suites. The entire hotel seemed unclean and outdated. I can't even get into all of the details of the different issues with that. Our room smelled terrible. The couch in the living room was so dirty I asked my daughter to not touch it. The curtain rod from the shower was hanging down from loose screws on both ends of it, from the walls. We could not even keep the shower curtain closed enough for water to not come out onto the floor. And we could only shower after having maintenance come up to jimmy the faucets to get them to work. The back of the toilet tank was broken, there were stains on the bathroom floor. The carpet was very dirty. After just feeling so uncomfortable in the hotel itself, we were at least looking forward to breakfast. Got down there at 6 because we had to hit the road, and waited for a while only to be told that because it was a holiday, breakfast was not until 7. That was annoying because not only were we told 6, we were also given a piece of paper that said 6 o'clock. The man sending us away actually argued with me and told me I would have been given a piece of paper upon check in that said because of the holiday it was 7. I pulled out the paper to show him, which said 6. And another couple standing and waiting with us, had actually just called the front desk and were also told 6. So we had to leave without eating and go find a gas station breakfast so we could hit the road. Really just annoying and disappointing. Not a fun stay.

I usually love staying at Embassy Suites, but the one located near BWI in Linthicum, MD was awful. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk and I ended up waiting 22 minutes until someone showed up at the front desk. I was warned about construction noise being an issue due to drilling. Also, I’m not a smoker and my room was non-smoking and the room reeked of mold and smoke. There was also kids running and screaming at all hours of the night and following day. At breakfast there were no scrambled eggs available and the tray was replaced with bacon so there were just two trays of greasy greasy bacon and a tray of greasy sausage. I went to order scrambled eggs from the grill and the chef refused to accept my orders and told me to get them from tray, I let her know what there wasn’t any. So I spoke with someone else about the wait time for eggs, he told me to order from grill, I explained the chef said I couldn’t order scrambles eggs from the grill, he sent be back over and spoke to the chef and she said she didn’t understand how she was supposed to make scrambled eggs. At that point my son and I left, we ate elsewhere. Of note, the eating area tables were not clean in the breakfast area, kids dripping water serving themselves breakfast dripping water everywhere. People keeping luggage carts in their rooms. It was a hot mess of a hotel from checkin in to checkout. Oh and the phone was missing buttons and there were urine stains behind the toilet.

Service was good, breakfast was great. The common areas were generally nice but I did notice some wear and tear in different places. Our room was old and worn. The carpet was fraying, the arm of the couch was dirty, wood in various places was damaged. The hot tub was out of order which was one of 2 reasons we chose this hotel over other options in the area. The other reason was because we could get a suite. Airport transport service was great also. All employees were pleasant and helpful.

This was a fantastic place to stay!!! Spent 3 days here and the room was very spacious with an office desk where I could work. Although we were here for our daughters graduation work must go on! Surprisingly we never once turned the television on. This was a get away from everything (except work😳) the Wi-Fi worked well so no issues there. Maybe the best perk was the breakfast! Omelette made to order - loved them! Changed them up everyday. One tip - avoid the hash browns 3x they were still the same dry hash browns. Even tried to add salsa, & ketchup to them - nope it was a lost cause! Hotel was very clean and staff were quite friendly and helpful.

I chose this hotel to stay at to get ready for my wedding. I had a double suite (the biggest room in the hotel) because I needed a lot of space for hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. While we were in the middle of getting ready, the A/C went out in the room. As you can imagine no A/C while getting hair and makeup done for 6 women is a no no. We were all sweating profusely and our makeup and hair were getting ruined. A maintenance man was sent up to fix the issue but was unable to fix it as it was going to take an hour to do so. I was told he would fix it while we were gone and it would be fixed by the time we came back. Well when I came back it STILL WAS NOT FIXED. And by that time we were so exhausted we just slept in a hot room. Upon checkout I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were unavailable. I left a voicemail for the manager and never received a call back. I spent A LOT of money in that hotel and they treated me horribly on a day that was supposed to be one of the most special days of my life. I will NEVER stay here again.

On site restaurant w/ 2 complimentary drinks for all guests upon check in. Free hot breakfast & omelets made fresh to order ! The rooms are spacious and clean! The beds are so comfy! I was watching a show, next thing I know, I was waking up the next morning from a great rest! The only thing I didn’t like is the jacuzzi jets weren’t working, I wanted to relax after a 5 hour drive, other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Visited MD 5 times within 3 months because I’m buying a house and, so far this is best hotel we stayed at. Amazing location, Hotel is gorgeous, staff is nice, unlimited parking… but few things why I’m not giving 5 stars. - 1st and most important, room cleaning service is available only every day and you HAVE TO REQUEST IT FIRST. So if you booked for 3 days or 2, your room will not be taken care of. - Rooms are too close to each other. Almost no privacy. When you open your room, a bunch of people can see inside if they are outside in front of their rooms, on the balcony or even in the elevators which are fully transparent. - The breakfast service has this lady who is so unprofessional and rude. Zero customer service. I went to breakfast on day 2 and it was a very nice and professional gentleman making the omelettes. On day 3 it was a lady and literally everyone was complaining about her attitude. Overall, it was a good stay even if I called a week ahead and specifically asked for a baby crib in my room for our little one but it was not there. Luckily we got it about an hour later after checking in. That didn’t affect my review. I wish I can give 4.5 .

Service was great but the whole place smelled like weed and the breakfast leaves something to be desired. Made to order omelettes were good, though. An edit: Gave it another try two weeks later, a long-term stay for work. Thus far, the laundry room has smelled like raw sewage, the washers had a bunch of hair and crusted-on detergent powder inside them (I did my laundry elsewhere), a maid left her chewed gum on my dresser after cleaning my room, and then the very next day after the gum (after I complained), I came home (laughable word here) from work and found the door to my room quite literally wide open. Absolutely anyone could have walked in and taken anything that they wanted. If there is any other hotel available in the vicinity then there is absolutely no reason to stay here. Do not do that to yourself.

One of the worst Hilton brand hotels I have ever stayed in. Usually Embassy Suites are nice. This one was outdated and dirty inside out. Housekeeping definitely lacked in their job when they cleaned the room. AC didn't get cold enough. Front desk staff members were nice though.

Location was good with lots of eating options within a 5 mile radius. Hotel was very conveniently located close to the airport and interstate. Rooms looked a bit tired (circa 1990s) though especially the design and furnishings. There were plenty of modern cardio machines in the gym but the cable machine lacked options / missing key handles. Breakfast was standard Embassy fare (cook to order omelettes!) but the 5-7 pm managers reception was just basic (no variety during my 4 day stay) but I am pleased that they offered this every weekday. I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk, housekeeping team, and the breakfast staff were professional and helpful. I must give extra kudos to the breakfast team. The manager went and her team went over and beyond to ensure that everyone was taken care of and that stations were well stocked and clean. My only suggestion would be for someone to inspect the rooms. Our windows were filled with mold and the rooms could use a little updating but they were at least clean.

Great location, very nice hotel but needs upgrades and deeper cleaning in the rooms.... front desk service is great but waited way too long for our rooms to be ready. But pay attention to your check out bill they "mistakenly" added restaurant charges to our bill .

I rarely write bad reviews, but this place was bad. The good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are nice. Clean, plenty of room, and two TVs. However, the ac was terrible. Our room was barely cool. About 75 degrees. But there was no AC in the atrium, lounge, restaurant, or lobby. I sat at the bar with a cold drink and just continued to sweat. Same thing at breakfast in the mornings. In the hall of the upper floors it must have been close to 100 degrees. The pool was nice, but the jacuzzi was closed. The managers happy hour is now only 1.5 hours long instead of 2 hours. And you can only get two free drinks. Also they never refill the snacks, so if you are not there right when it starts you don't get snacks. You used to be able to sit in the lounge and have as many free well drinks as you wanted for 2 hours. That's why we chose the Embassy Suites. Now I would say that we will never stay in one again.

This was a really nice hotel. The rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. I loved the elevators because they were see-through so you could look out while riding up. One thing I didn't like is that it was an open forum and I felt like someone could fall. We were on the top floor which is the eighth so I noticed it more. The front desk people are amazing. The staff, bartenders, and waiters were great. They had a nice selection for breakfast, and an omelet station. The guy was great. They also have a complimentary cocktail hour where you can get two drinks on the house and snacks. That was a nice addition. I would go back here.

We chose the Embassy because it was close to a doctor's office. Not bad for one night. The evening reception was great, and the bartender was super nice. We ordered dinner at the hotel as well. Food was decent. The pizza could have been better, though. It was so salty that my little guy wouldn't even touch it, and he loves pizza. What I didn't appreciate was the random wake-up call at 4 AM. I don't know if it was a joke, but if it was then it was not funny. Sounds like someone had too much time on their hands. Overall decent stay. Our room was very spacious and things were very quiet. Thank you!

This hotel was excellent. Great location close to everything in Baltimore. The service was superb and room was excellent. Loved the evening reception. The bartender and waitress was very friendly and hard working. I loved the fitness center even though the total gym machine is not operating. The bool was great too. The hotel had everything we were looking for in a Baltimore weekend getaway.

The checkin experience and room were very nice, but the morning breakfast buffet needs attention. The flow of the omelet bar is very disorganized and could have benefited from occasional direction from the staff to aid the flow of the line or a sign might have helped. The young man working the omelet bar needed help and it was plain to see. He was an amazing cook, but he can only do so much on his own. Basically, he was manning 2 stations within the bar. The tables were not cleaned in a speedy manner and the rest of the food stations were not tidy and pleasing to the eye. This breakfast experience is not the one I am accustomed to when staying at an Embassy Suites. Please improve.

We had a group of 22 people coming home from a deployment and Nyna and her team were amazing! They were able to block out our rooms and get us taken care of after 27 hours of flight. They went above and beyond and truly made our first stop in America awesome! As for the actual hotel - the rooms were very nice and spacious, the gym had everything we needed, and the evening reception was a nice added bonus! I would definitely stay here again!

Near the airport and train station. For a Hilton property I found the breakfast buffet very ordinary with lack of selection. I have stayed in over 20 Hilton properties in the last nine months mainly in Europe and their buffets have a large variety to choose from. The room was comfortable however the vents in the bathroom were dusty and the shower door swings - it's not attached at the bottom.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a central area to our destinations. It is just a few minutes from BWI, which worked out perfect for us. There was no charge for parking, which was nice because there are other Embassy Suites that charge for parking. We had no issues with the safety of our vehicle in their parking lot as it was lit at night. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Marty was our chef on Friday morning (October 7th) and was phenomenal. He smiled at every single person ahead of us and was super friendly! He made a cowboy casserole for breakfast that was wonderful -- as a matter of fact, I'll be working to re-invent this recipe at home. Most people do not give such great service first thing in the AM. He was personable and I cannot say enough good about him. He is definitely an asset to Embassy Suites and gives them a great name! If in the area again, we'll land at Embassy Suites in hopes of a good nights sleep and a ray of sunshine in the morning with Marty!

This place is gross, outdated and extremely poorly managed. We show up 1 hour after check in time and they tell us they don't have our room ready and it will be an hour wait to get it. Then we get in and there is long black hairs on the tiles in front of the bathroom. Towels and sheets questionably clean. Common areas I don't even want to comment. Sweeping is a foreign concept. We also did not have a plate in the microwave so that was useless. Asked for a crib, reminded them at check in and still an hour later there was no crib. We call and ask about it and they tell us they don't have any available now so we should go buy one. Next thing we go to checkout the pool as this is the only reason we picked this hotel over others nearby. My husband called yesterday to confirm they keep it warm because we have a baby. We go today and the pool is closed because "a pipe burst". It has caution tape all over it. When I look at the pictures here it looks like it had caution tape 7 months ago as well so I don't know what is going on at this place. But when we asked for compensation since it was the main reason to book here - we were offered to get checked out and leave! Great customer service!!!

Worst Hilton stay ever! Dirty rooms. Pillows smelled like dog. Asked for new sheets and pillow case which could not be located? None on the carts? No housekeeper had any pillow cases? How? How are you cleaning rooms and changing sheets if you have none?? Called front desk, asked housekeeping. They could not give me clean pillow cases. Legit! They changed rooms for me because they had none! Room dirty. White stuff on curtains. Holes in carpets. Nails exposed. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are great. The hotel?? Trash! Still waiting for a refund! But Hilton rewards couldn’t even get ahold of hotel to issue refund on my card. Had to wait for a snail mail check!

I’m giving one star based on being able to eat dinner one night. Let me say if comfort and expecting your regular Hilton stay you’ve experienced at other locations find another place. I only came to visit a friend who was staying here and I was staying an and Embassy Suite in Atlanta. My hotel by far exceeded the standards compared to this place. Twice when ordering food after coming back from a late business meeting I expected to get food and eat in my room. However the hotel bistro hours changed daily and weren’t posted or updated on site when making the reservation for my coworker. One of the reason who chose this place was the ability to come home late and still be able to eat food. But that wasn’t the case. Second the bistro area is constantly closed off in sections and everyone is cramped into one section especially during the evening reception. I’m n the closet there was a blanket balled up.

This place is great, clean appearance both inside and out. Front desk employees were very friendly and welcoming. Happy hour with a variety of drinks, bar food was good, and everyone was friendly. Breakfast has a made to order grill along with the basic bagels, cereal, and yogurts. The elevators all worked, and I never waited longer than a few moments (not bad for an 8-story fully booked hotel). The room (703 and 622) was clean and spacious. You can tell they were both recently updated. Most importantly, the rooms are quiet. Once you shut the door, no outside or neighbor noise is nnoticeable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This place was great! A totally unexpected gem of an experience at the end and beginning of two long days. The staff was super-helpful and very kind-upbeat even! Let me say a quick word about the food. The morning breakfast was delicious with a variety of made to order options. The bed was very comfortable.

This is our second time staying here. It's a busy location but the rooms are clean, staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast selection.

The front staff were all friendly and helpful but their lack of posted or printed information was astounding. The only thing I could find about the pool said it was "open" on the handout provided by the front desk. Hours weren't posted on the doors, and I was quickly kicked out. No big deal, but then for the happy hour the bartender let me know AFTER pouring my requested beer (which tasted off) that it was not included in happy hour. Menus at the restaurant were all paper and terribly worn. Overall, unprofessional management of these items.

Hotel is older for sure. Our room had a few little issues. But would still stay again. The girls at the front desk were allways helpfully and nice. The cook's at breakfast were fast and courteous. Great food as well. We went to the evening reception 3 times the bartender was always nice. And we order food from the bistro menu 2 times just to keep from leaving the hotel. Food was good both times. The girl waiting on us went above and beyond. Our son who is in the navy came with us one night and wanted iced tea she went and brewed him a fresh batch. She did now know about him being in the navy. She was very friendly.

States here one night with my granddaughter. Appreviates the gentleman who drove the shuttle. Very professional and helpful. Room was good. Clean and spacious. Checked in they the app so went straight to my room. The breakfast area and management were an issue. I go to embassy suites often bc if the breakfast and design. The man making the timeless was overwhelmed and rude. Another guest actually commented about to me and couldn't believe how unprofessional he was. But he obviously did not have enough support. I had to let a worker know that these were not any plates nor bacon. I went to get coffee and both containers were out. We basically had to bus our own table with a cart right by us with an industrial trash can for us to scrape our plates and place them in the cart. It was gross. In the end the manager if that was not training the staff or really making sure all was taken care of.

A very beautiful hotel in a quiet area. The rooms were big for me, and had a lot of space. The bathrooms were well stocked too. It’s a fair way away from things to do, but it’s fine with me. The staff was also very respectful and very kind. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
