Recently tried this restaurant out. We were in the area and wanted to give it a try. We went on a week night and service was very good and prompt. And the menu itself has a lot of variety of food but definitely not an overwhelming amount of items. I would highly suggest the calamari which also has fried peppers. So really enjoyed the zucchini boat and the drinks were to die for. The crab cakes were phenomenal. I would highly recommend them if you are into surf and turf and light American Faire.

The crab cakes in this establishments were delicious. Nothing but pure crabmeat not filled with tons of breadcrumbs. All of the food that came to the table was delicious. The waitress was pleasant and seemed to be knowledgeable about the specials and drink selections.

Looking for a place to impress someone with? This is the place! First, our server Debbie was amazing.... second, the food....all I can say come with an empty stomach. The food will stuff you. I had the steak and it was perfect with an exquisite taste. Kudos to the chef for that. My wife had the sea food platter and she was amazed at how good it was. Now yes the prices are a bit high, but trust me when I say it's worth it. Not only in the food, but in the service. I was impressed how clean everything was. The young man that was cleaning tables was very attentive to make sure drinks didn't go empty. Even put server Debbie made sure our drinks never went empty. Like I said, if you want to impress someone, this is definitely the place. My wife and I can't wait to go there again. 2nd time was even better!!!

The food was great! The service was super fast. Prices great. The food came out in practically minutes and still it was hot and perfect. The hot roast beef was mouth watering and the mashed potatoes stellar. We also tried the jumbo fried shrimp and it was perfectly fried. Definitely want to go back.

I think it was a very cozy place to eat at, the ambiance along with the throwback music was amazing! The staff are friendly, and very quick. The food was very good! A little overpriced, but definitely worth it still! I'd definitely recommend again, and it's best to come by at sunset!

Food was just average. The jackknife potatoes were just mashes potatoes in a smaller container. The coleslaw has a meaty taste and the ribs were not tossed in enough sauce. Vegetables were unseasoned and bland. Service was also a bit slow, but the ribs were not dry which is a plus. Great Christmas decor.

Up until now, this was the only place that had a good crabcake. Honestly, fantastic crabcakes. USUALLY. My husband and I visited on June 26th. The place was not packed or busy, numerous open seats. Our server, Ashli, was all but non-existent. Which is not normal for here. Some people have off days. Now for the food. I do not know where they have a new prep cook or if they've changed their recipes. My crab cake looked the same as usual but let me tell you, it had none of the amazing flavor I've come to love. It tasted like a regular ole crab cake from any other place. Such a letdown, considering the cost. Again, some people have off days. My husband got the Chicken Francaise. DO NOT GET THIS. The flavor was awful. I mean awful. He managed to eat one piece and his mac & cheese (which was yummy). Ashli checked on us once through the meal, no refills in sight. Then, when we asked for the check, she asked if we needed to-go boxes. We said no AND NOTHING. She didn't inquire about why we didn't want to take a full plate of food with us. Never asked how our meal was. Didn't ask if anything was wrong with the dish. Not the service I know they can provide. I managed restaurants for 12 years. If someone hasn't touched their food or barely touched it, you ask if everything was okay, if there was a problem, would they like something different, would they like the item removed from the bill, etc. We did not receive that type of service. This experience was disappointing to say the least.

Great atmosphere, the food was amazing. The broiled crakes and the boom boom shrimp were delicious. The waiters were friendly but could have given more information about the food when we asked and the service was a little slow. Overall, it was just beautiful gathering with family there. Would recommend it to anybody visiting Baltimore.

This place is awesome!!! Crab cakes are awesome 💯. Food excellent. Service great! They had all of my favorite Barcadi rums!!!!! Prices for food good. I believe the salad dressings are all homemade!!!We will go back again if we visit Baltimore again.

We popped in on a Friday night and were seated right away. We just moved to the area so it was our first time stopping in. The restaurant is huge and there is a bar area. Lots of booths and space for larger groups. This place felt like it had been here for awhile, and we dug it. We had crab stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes (of course) and the crab "dip" burger. The stuffed mushrooms were more like a few mushrooms with a giant crab cake on top (not complaining!). Everything was delicious. The portions were huge and prices were reasonable. We'll be back to try more!

I wanted to order something different during my lunch break. I've never dined in or gotten carry out here. I overlooked the bit of incompetance that I encountered on the phone while placing my order. I ordered a "spinach and cheese pie" for $15. Turns out not to be a pie, and not to be anywhere close to $15 worth of food. Besides the free wet vegetables (who doesn't live soggy food?) that weighed more than the item itself, the tiny pieces were more full of air than anything. 6 pieces and 3 of them had no spinach in them, and barely any cheese. Should have named this item "air pocket bites with minimal cheese and random essence of spinach". Never again, y'all are tripping! I followed up with a burrito from Dash-in. Pappas made gas station food look good by comparison... Yikes.

This place needs a rennovation. It smells very musky. The staff was great though. The crab cake my daughter got was amazing. The crab pretzle was pretty good as well. The mozz sticks were okay, could be better. Fries were good. Chicken francise was good but cant sit for long or its mushy, probably bc the chicken pieces were tiny, instead of using one big piece of chicken. Potatoes-meh. Mac and cheese wasnt okay but the portion for that was so small.

Omg this place was amazing for crab cake was so big honestly the Caesar salad was fresh. Our waiter was down to earth and honest. The wait was a little long but was worth it because the food was hot and fresh to you forget how long you waited.

A friend of mine suggested I try Pappas, so we did and weren't disappointed. The crab dip appetizer was full of lump crab meat. My son enjoyed the Buffalo wings and fries. The Buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy for him. I tried one, and it was tasty. I had Rockfish Imperial. A little disappointed because there was no Imperial. They served a jumbo lump crab cake on the side. The rockfish and crabcake were very good. The broccoli was steamed, and the sweet potato fries were just how I liked them. My wife had a salad with Greek dressing along with a Crabcake and mashed potatoes. Our server was nice and had quite a few tables and checked on us periodically. We will be going back. I would like the Imperial with my rockfish next time.

Great neighborhood place! Restaurant was quieter, comfortable. The bar was busy, lots of happy folks!

We came here because my sister and BIL had heard it was good and their other favorite seafood place was closed. Ultimately it was a good choice. We tried the famous crab cakes which were good! I had the shrimp carbonara which as also delicious. My BIL had one of the other pastas. My sister got a seafood sandwich and my fiance got the crab cake sandwich. Leah was our server (love that we had the same name!) And she did pretty good at keeping up with our table. We didn't get our side salads at first but got them as soon as we brought it to their attention. Overall a pretty good meal!

Sorry for not having the best picture, but the crab dip was so good I had to write a review! I have been disappointed by many crab dips recently (they lack crab usually), but Pappas has the best crab dip around right now! They actually put enough crab and cheese in the dip that the cream cheese doesn’t overwhelm the whole dish. The seafood sampler appetizer is incredible! It’s enough to share at the table or have a full meal. I was VERY impressed going to Pappas in Glen Burnie! Not just with the food, but the service and drinks were both fantastic! Our server, Jessica, was super sweet and attentive.

Amazing crab cakes - we made a special detour to get here, and they didn't disappoint. Whoever said the crab cakes were full of fillers didn't know what they're about: a couple of our 6 crab cakes were almost falling apart for the lump crabs in them. Extra brownie points for the wait staff, who were willing to dive deep into the crevasse between table and wall for a lost cell phone!

Stopped in for the first time because we've heard good things. Our server was really on point, but everything else was mediocre/average at best. My wife ordered the crab cake and said it was filled with meat, but the taste was "just okay." Not what I was hoping for, and my Blackened Chicken Alfredo was barely warm and kinda bland. 😕 The serving size on the Chicken Parm with Spaghetti was huge (see pic), and my daughter took most of it home but also said it was okay. Slightly disappointed but not a waste.

Good crabcakes. We've been here a few times and the crab cakes were consistently good. Nice and meaty! The crab dip was mainly dip, hardly any crab meat so would not order that again, but the veggies tastes fresh and the employees are always friendly which is a bonus. We ordered the Mini crabcakes once and they were basically all filler. That was very disappointing so I was definitely recommend the full size option.

The crab cakes are excellent, the top shelf Long Island ice tea was perfect. After a long day of driving around and shopping, the relaxing atmosphere was very welcoming

I think I set the bar so high because of all the recommendations that I set myself up. Don't get me wrong, the crab cakes were good, but not out of this world like I anticipated. The rest was just average. I had heard about this place for some time and we finally went! For being such a popular award winning place, it's appearance says, "I used to be an old red lobster and we kept a lot of the decor from 20 years ago."
