Family night Romano's! The food was outstanding. I tried the fried crab cake this time and it was really good. I still prefer mines broiled but it was a great first fried experience. Calamari was on point as usual and the crab dip was just OK for me. Service was superb. They have some really good crab cakes. Follow more reviews @IG: Robthefoodguy @eat_n_critique

3.7 stars Romano's is a good local spot in Glen Burnie. Seating was quick in the lounge area were we watched football and had drinks. Food took over an hour to come out and they forgot our appetizers and soups we ordered. Crabcake made up for it though as they were very large and jumbo lump all the way. Shrimp platter was way over priced for 6 Shrimp and pasta was heavy with a delicious crabcake in the center of it.

I've only had carry out or sat at the bar. The lady tending bar made an excellent long island iced tea! Well balanced and you can definitely taste the liquor! The crab cakes are consistently good(5 different occasions in a 3 year period) , and the seafood club is a winner!

Excellent meal. The chicken dish I had was exceptional. The sauce was perfect. Busy but not overwhelming...a nice Saturday night date. Shout out to Jen who got it 💯 right. Brought the family out for a yummy meal. Eight in the bar instead of in the big restaurant. Truly enjoyed all of our food. Always come back because you know what you get and it sure tastes good!

Food was good. I had the ribs. They came out a little cold and I didn’t get my fries. I was impressed by the salmon salad. That was a nice size portion and I was told the taste was impeccable. I tried this new kind of soup and… it wasn’t for me.

Food is good. Tap water is actually terrible. Tastes really weird and of course they soak the seafood and wash with the same water. Which makes the shrimp, scallops, crab etc aftertaste so weird. I can’t help but notice it in every bite of seafood. Maybe try filtered water for better quality as a suggestion.

It has been awhile since I ate here. Used to love it, even sang karaoke here a long time ago. We were seated right away which was nice considering the place was empty. I looked at the menu and they took all the good stuff off of it. So nothing I ate was even something I really wanted because the menu didn't have much of a selection. Our server took about 15 minutes (she has brown hair I wish I could remember her name cause she sucked) didn't even ask us if we wanted drinks and she was rude the whole time. The only time she came to our table was to ask us what we wanted to eat and bring our food. I hope they bring back their good dishes!! Calamari was unbelievably chewy I almost choked. The crab dip tasted like cream cheese with a sprinkle of old bay. Their gyro platter is not even a gyro. It's gyro meat thrown on a plate with a salad and the tzakiki sauce was on the side in a bowl...build your own gyro? With small pita bites. I was confused. One star and only because I had to rate to leave a review.

Food and Service was good! Me and my party had a fairly decent time. My server was attentive and accommodating. Food came out as ordered with no hiccups. The Steaks came out at perfect temperature. I prefer my steak medium and someone with me got medium rare chefs kiss 😘.It was bustling in the restaurant. People were having parties and whole church groups there. The downfall is that it’s dated. I mean ambiance negative. This place needs a renovation. The decor is late 90’s living room vibe. Tacky tables and chairs. It looks like a poker table. Artwork needs work. And it’s small. They have a quasi office on the dinning floor closed by a curtain partition🫣.This was my first time there. Happy to have experienced it!

Our visit to Romano's tonight was wonderful! The restaurant wasn't too crowded so social distancing was definitely practiced. The servers were all friendly and very kind. I got the Delmonico steak and it was delicious. Tender, juicy, absolutely delicious. The bread was also awesome, we got some fresh out of the oven, still hot. We enjoyed our visit immensely.

This was our first time and hopefully not our last. Our waitress, Chelsea B. was absolutely amazing. Very sweet and efficient. My husband ordered the crab dip and I got calamari and I'll tell you, this was THE BEST calamari I've ever had. The crab dip was very delicious as well. We both got Seafood Mimosa and a ceaser salad. Absolutely scrumptious. Everything was extremely delicious. Now, I need to also let you know the portions are very large and worth every penny. Please remember to be kind to your server. We look forward to our next visit.

I visited Romano's Bar & Grill joining a group of seniors for lunch. It was my very first visit and I was extremely amazed with the atmosphere, the food and our wonderful hostess, Shay. She was simply amazing. She made our experience at Romano's one of the best. She took very good care of the entire group. It was like being home with family and friends for a special meal. Thanks Shay for taking such good care of us and for making us laugh and smile. This may have been my first, but I promise it will not be my last. Merry Christmas to you and your Manager. I wish I had gotten her name. She wasn't too busy to take out time to ensure everything went just the way we expected -- that was Great!

Went to Romano's for a family get together. I got the crab cake sandwich. They were very accommodating when I asked for crackers instead of bread. The crab cake was huge and delicious, but wasn't really hot and my fries were barely warm. Another member of our group ordered the beef stroganoff. It too, was just warm. I think we will give them another try. Maybe we just caught them on an off day as they did have two very large groups. The amount of food you get is tremendous. I would have liked about half the portions and a slightly lower price, but that's just my preference.

Unfortunately, tonight was our worst meal at Romano's. Had Prime Rib, it was tough, dry and gristly. Green beans had very little flavor. Crab cake was not as good as usual. Very Disappointed for the cost.

I mean come on if there were 6 stars this awesome place would even exceed that. The food is some of the best in the business but then on top of that, the portions are enough to feed 2 people. It's beautiful inside and even outside. The service makes you really feel welcome and prices are well worth it.

My Mom and I are from Brooklyn Park area.. I left and have been living in Hawaii for last 15 yrs and my Mom has been in ohio..we are now both living in Ohio(God I hope not long). We always took advantage of any opportunity to get Romanos Crabcakes anytime we can. That visit to see family..oh..Crabcakes!! This year we decided to have them just sent to use with cream of crab. Wow..what a treat..the soup was delicious and I baked the Crabcakes at 450..they were flawless..almost made me think i heard a waitress say Hon...(which I do all the time still). Guess it's results of Going to Brooklyn Park high school.. If you miss these and are apart from them..just treat yourself..cost almost 100 for shipping but.. its worth it..we got 4. The ladies there are wonderful...talked to Eva..was very nice. Anyway.. Thank you very much Fred Tolodziecki & Judy Freedman

Just picked up my order from Romano’s. The crab cakes did not disappoint but the fried clams were the worse. I have had their clams many times and NEVER had clams this TINY. There are so many dried up, hard, rubbery and tiny pieces. It’s like eating pebbles. I’m beyond disappointed. I am inclined to drive back there and demand a refund. The 3 stars are obviously for the crab cake.

I sat at the bar with a friend and had a quiet dinner. Bartender was super chill and even offered to make a drink featuring their peach infused scotch which was suuuuuuper tasty. All the food was delicious, especially the brussel sprouts. I also had the cauliflower steak which could have used more salt but still delicious.

Unique and delicious food with nice presentation. Food is tapas style so order a couple plates and share. Good ambience, perfect for date nights. Great service as well. Level in Annapolis on West St, highly recommend it. Level is the rare experience where everything is good, the food, the service, the ambiance. Our server listened to our likes and made confident suggestions that resulted in a better dining experience. I would recommend ordering in stages and not all plates at one time as to feel your way through the meal. Seems the bar selections are A+ but we are not drinkers. High marks for the ricotta gnocchi, nearly asked for a second plate but truly there was more to try. Not the type to sit there and take food photos but presentation was great. Have photos of interior and outside.

Take out through delivery service was terrible. Cold food. Scallops dry, Calimari tough. Ordered 8 dishes all a horrible representation of their food. Been there many times dining in, and will simply say they Will destroy their reputation if this is what they deliver to homes. Called to explain and got a lecture as to why they’re not the place to take out. I’m done. Rude and will not go back. Very short sighted response. Maybe appreciate people trying to support them in difficult times?

Absolutely fantastic. The service was great, and the food and drinks were out of this world. You can't go wrong with the gimlet-- it's their signature drink-- but I also highly recommend the Cucumber Westside for something a little different but equally light and delightful. I enjoyed the leafy greens salad and the catch of the day- an almond dusted trout fillet with roasted golden beets and a peach creme fraiche. Hubby ordered the crab cake (lots of meat, hardly any filler) and bay frites (perfectly golden and crispy, with Old Bay ketchup). Lots of gluten free options. Great experience all around.

This was my third stop on my tour du Annapolis and boy am I happy SOB recommended Level! First of all the bartender was super friendly and I loved she entertained my love of being surprised when I eat. For drinks I got the heart beat. This amazing cocktail is made with rosemary infused gin , cocchi, Cointreau, lemon, beet juice and peppercorn shrub. For food I got the seared scallops in a tomato gazpacho and preserved lemon fresh, loved the lemon fresh! The scallops were super fresh, it was a great recommendation!

We wanted to try a restaurant we hadn't been to before so we stopped in at Romanos. Whether you like this restaurant will depend on if ambience or cost is important to you. The food was decent and they give generous portions, but the food is expensive. The restaurant's decor is terribly outdated...like from the 90's. Staff was friendly but not exactly on point. The ceilings are low and it reminds you of a banquet hall in a church basement. Was ok but I doubt if I'll return.

Let me start by saying to be the second customer in line today this food was horrible the chicken was so dry that was in my salad the bang bang shrimp was full of grease if I wasn’t 45 mins away I would have came back I just don’t understand you should never serve food that you wouldn’t eat

  • 3/5 Marie S. 2 years ago on Google
Very price first thing.the server was a sweet woman she was very polite but first it took 20 just to get our margaritas. Then we ordered appetizers he wanted a half a dozen raw oysters I just wanted a simple Caesar salad it took another 10 minutes to get the salad 15 minutes later the oysters less than a minute behind the oysters came our entrees. By the time we got to the entrees first my steak. Cold and although I ordered a porterhouse I ended up with the t-bone I guess they're not too sure on the cuts of meat by this time I ate my baked potato and I ate my vegetables and that was it I was ready to go the poor server could not stop apologizing enough although I was not very comfortable when she brought the check and stated please don't take the kitchens in the steaks out on me for anything you would have left me as a tip like really as sweet as she was the service was extremely slow the order was messed up. Yet the poor thing had the nerve to say please don't deduct from her tip because the kitchen messed up. On the upside my dog enjoyed the steak. This restaurant used to be amazing and I do stress the used to be

I am beyond disappointed in this place. For starters, the menu description compared to what you actually get is deception. I ordered the so called Broiled shrimp, scallops, stuffed oysters, "crab cake" and filet of flounder platter. Actually, there was no crab cake in the platter. It was only 2 shrimp and 2 scallops and everything else. Then the other meal was supposed to be Grilled chicken breast w crab dip, green peppers w sliced bread. This was absolutely disgusting, when I opened it up it was just a bunch of cream cheese over chicken, "no crab dip", the bread was wedged into the container and under it was peppers. Was given 2 hard pieces of toasted bread in which I wasn't asked if I wanted it toasted. I even asked the lady on the phone if the crab dip had cheese she says no. I am lactose intolerant so this presents a problem for me. And all of this came to almost $100. You don't treat customers like this just for monetary value. Presentation is everything and this was put together sloppy. So, I definitely "WILL NOT" be coming back to this deceptive and greedy restaurant. Romano's, you deserve "zero" stars.

  • 2/5 Tenia Hawkins S. 2 years ago on Google
Only 2 stars because my crabcake tasted nothing like I remember. This used to be one of my favorite places in Maryland for lump crabcakes. Maybe it was the chef...not sure. Our waiter was very nice but sadly, I didn't enjoy my food at all. Looked better than it tasted.

  • 5/5 Mike C. 2 years ago on Google
The butterfly fried shrimp were absolutely wonderful. They have really good food here. I've had several different items off of the menu. I have enjoyed every single one of them The broiled seafood platter is absolutely incredible. That one is my favorite. Try to get in there if you can. You will love it

  • 3/5 Andra Kai S. 2 years ago on Google
Ambience is relaxing but very dated. We sat in the bar due to a large and verynloud group in the main restaurant. The bartender was friendly. They were pretty busy and the wait staff of one person was overwhelmed. The serving sizes are huge so you get your money's worth. The food was decent. I had a seafood platter that was okay. It came with a side of pasta. The marinara sauce needed some seasoning.

  • 5/5 Shelley O. 1 year ago on Google
My very good friend and I met around 5:15pm for a nice meal and long chat. The food was great and the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The price were comparable to the old Sunset restaurant and the portions were just as plentiful. The owner was nice enough to come out and chat with us for a moment.

Food and service was excellent. My husband said by far, this is the best food we've had since COVID and he's right. I had the Seafood Mimosa over pasta and he had the Chicken Mimosa over pasta. Both with spinach in a white wine sauce. Delicious!!! I also had a cup of Cream of Crab and it was the best I've had in a long time. My husband had the White chicken chili and he loved it. Their house dressing is very good also. Our total bill with 2 draft beers came to $81. and we have enough food left for lunch and dinner again. Probably more. Great job!!!

I went on a Saturday night and it was kinda slow in there. So my friend and I was like great. We order and the food came fast but there was a item left off of my main dinner course. It took a minute for my waiter to bring the missing item. The service was very poor from our waiter but the food was good and prices are reasonable

Went with a party of 10 without a reservation, oops! Server was attentive and took really good care of us. Appetizers were good and filling, leaving not much room for our dinners. I think everyone took food home. I didn't care for the sauce on my seafood lasagna, too tangy for me. Everything else was great.

I was there for my close sister friends 65th Birthday Celebration on June 23rd. The service was great and the food was good too. I would recommend that they redo the Seafood Platter. I feel for the price it was very skimp. Besides that everything was great. My hostess was Rose. This young lady is always on her game. Thank you Ms. Rose for your great work ethic.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Food was very delicious and well prepared with large portions. Waiters were friendly, polite and very accommodating. We had a beautiful lunch celebrating my niece's college graduation. Most of all the manager was very generous. Thank you. Will be back

Okay…. No lie! BEST CRAB CAKES! Come give them a try and tell me different. Taylor was our server, and was so kind and professional. Had to get the desserts to go - no more room! Great place and love the atmosphere. Food is fresh and made at the restaurant. That’s a big winner for me. Thank you Romano’s! Great job.

More expensive than what I'm used to paying, for what we got. I had a Reuben and salad, which was tasty, and very filling; and we also got a burger and fries. It was all right, I guess. Not at all crowded when we went, plenty of room. I thought it would be fancier, especially for the prices. But it is kind of old school restaurant in the atmosphere. Not bad, but more expensive wouldn't be my first choice.
