My fiance and I recently visited gulf shores for vacation, and while there rented jet skis from here.... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The area you have to ride on is perfect, the jet skis are more than great, the price isn't too bad, and the memories are priceless! I really implore you to do this while here! And don't forget to stop by OSO restaurant there in the marina , and I also suggest to do the dolphin and sunset tour... its amazing! But here at the extreme Watersports, Alex took care of us, and was wonderful ! He explained everything thoroughly, considering I myself have never driven a jet ski, by the time I was out on the water myself, I was confident and it made this experience priceless! Thomas helped us to have an awesome jet ski experience! He was super accommodating, gave us great instructions and helped us to get started quickly. Once we were on the water, there is plenty of open space to get to top speed (mine got to 54 mph) and the area is just beautiful. Not too much traffic. We were able to see some dolphins and it was an amazing experience. One of the highlights of our trip and I would 100% recommend ! We hope to try it again sometime!

We rented 2 jet skis for an hour and had a blast. The wave runners were in good shape and fast! We have been going here for years and have always had a fun time. The wake only area out of the marina is short and you are riding fast in no time. There is one cove on the north side of the riding area where the water is much smoother and there are even some shipwrecks that you can see! Thomas and Eli were very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and highly recommend Alabama Extreme Watersports.

Bring your own gas! When they quote the jet ski rental rates they don’t mention that they’ll add a fuel charge (that’s double the cost of purchasing fuel yourself). When we called after our trip believing we had been overcharged, they said they post a notice about the fuel fee at the rental location but it doesn’t list the actual cost. When I complained that no one informed me about the fee when I called asking about rates, nor when I called again to make the reservation, I asked why they don’t include it in the reservation cost since you can’t rent the jet ski without the gas. They said technically you can fill up the gas yourself to avoid the fee but of course they don’t mention that upfront either. I might add, I picked this place because their rates were cheaper than others - but it turns out the rates were the same but the other places were including the fuel charge in the cost. Also, tip in cash because if you add a percentage to your credit card charge it includes the fuel charge, 10% sales tax, and credit card fee. The jet skis worked and the support staff was nice so I gave them two stars. For clarity and communication I’d give zero stars and affordability one star.

This is a great jet ski rental option that has minimal no wake zone (unlike others than charge the same price for 30+ of wake zone riding). Easy in and out!

Thomas and Eli were great and helped us have a good experience. Great spot to jet ski from with little wake zone. We would recommend this area as it is a super fun spot with Oso restaurant right there to eat after.

My girlfriend and I rented a jet ski from here while vacationing in Gulf Shores and had a great time! Very little boat traffic while we were out, and we were able to see dolphins in the bay. Thomas was very kind and helpful in getting us set up and started. Would recommend!

We rode the jet skis today and it was absolutely amazing! The man working was so kind and super in depth with his explanations on where and where not to go, we enjoyed every second of riding today and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend and you also get to see some extremely cool sights (ship wrecks/ dolphins) while riding!!

Rented 3 jetskis from Thomas yesterday and had an absolute blast! Paperwork and check-in was fast and easy. Thomas is a chill dude and he made the process super smooth. He explained everything to us on a map and then let us rip. There was a very small no wake zone heading out (maybe 2 minutes max?), and a very large bay once you got out. Lot of area to play and explore, and during my visit there wasn't a lot of water traffic. This will probably be a yearly visit for me now. Thanks, Thomas!

The guy who waited on us was late, rude, and seemed all over the place. I think he is who they refer to as the boss. The gentleman who watched over us in the water was absolutely amazing! Friendly, nice, and helpful. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the " the boss".

Had an excellent time jet skiing today! Eli was wonderful getting our group signed in and educated us on what we needed to know to have fun and be safe. I was a little apprehensive going solo but he gave me reassurance.

Everything was pretty great. We got there an hour before our appointment, just to make sure we got everything filled out and we expected to wait. They got us in right away, explained it all and we were happy! If I had to pick one bad thing, it was that my jet ski topped out at 39mph. The ones at Floro-Bama topped out around 62

Eli was awesome! He explained the operation and safety instructions of the jet skis clearly. My nervousness was eased. I had a blast on the water and would definitely recommend booking with Alabama Extreme Watersports. If you can, ask for Eli! He will take care you you. Everybody else was pleasant as well. jet skis were fun, the sign up girl is a trooper, guy working with her sat there screaming about how she can’t do anything for a good 5 minutes when we were checking in and she just bit her tongue to be professional

We absolutely love going here! We have been renting here for a few years now and have yet to be disappointed! There is so much open space and awesome scenery to enjoy! Highly recommended to any family wanting to try something new! They are the best and you won’t be disappointed!!!

We went on the guided dolphin tour with Thomas, and it was fantastic! The weather was uncooperative at the beginning, but Thomas did a great job routing around it and helping us have fun while we waited it out. He kept with it and found the dolphins for us, which was amazing in and of itself. Would 10 out 10 recommend them. (And ask for Thomas!!)

Mi fiancé and I had an amazing experience! Thomas was our guide for the jet-ski dolphin excursion and he did a fantastic job. He kept the trip very exciting, allowed the group to open up the jet skis throughout, and had us see a lot of dolphins (including a baby dolphin). I highly recommend this place if you want a fun adrenaline-filled adventure. We will be back!

Thomas Lake prepared us well for the tour. He did a great job guiding us through the waters and seeing all the sites. He was very informative and knew all the right spots to see the dolphins.
