My husband and I made an intake appointment, they asked if we make more than $3,300, he said no. Once we get there, mid way through the paperwork, this old woman with a nasty attitude comes out and tells my husband that he makes too much. The max was supposedly according to her was $3,100, we were $44 over, but it was in her hand writing not print so something seemed fishy. She didn't bother to pull us aside and discuss this, instead airing out everything to everyone in the lobby, embarrassing us. Then snatched the paperwork from us and threw our IDs in my husbands lap. I personally believe she took one look at my husband's name (a Muslim name) and decided she wasn't going to help out our kind. Not a very Christian thing to do.

I have been going to the health and hope clinic for years, I cannot tell you just how wonderful, caring, and kind everyone is. Carol, is simply amazingly kind, loving and so caring . Everyone at this clinic is friendly, and they do their best to help you resolve health issues. They are truly all angel's. They give their time and expertise freely, willingly and strive to help you with whatever your health issue's may be . I personally LOVE everyone there. They have the most wonderful caring dentists who are beyond compassionate and gentle. In my opinion, anyone who leave's a bad review was just simply wanting something to happen so to say on the "spot" and it simply does not work that way. They also forget that these Dr.s, Nurses and volunteer's give their time to help people, they are not paid. I like to thank everyone I come in contact with when I am there as I am very grateful to have found this clinic and what a blessing they are. Thank you to all the staff there. Jeffrey, you are truly quite an amazing young man . VJ is amazing, surfer girl as I call her is amazingly kind as well. Special thanks to Dr. Mills you have truly helped with my fibromyalgia! Dr. Lightning as I call her (dentist ) gave me my smile back PRICELESS!! Carol, special thanks to you for my awesome boot! Everyone there are truly angel's in our midst. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the medically needy uninsured people of our town and community! Ronnie

I found Godā€™s angels right here at this facility, hard at work, and diligently trying to do the perfect Will of our heavenly Father! I felt so loved and blessed with the true compassion of Christ given to me and the one Iā€™d brought for their services. This ministry is a wonderful example of what ā€œChildren of Godā€ do, as they serve tirelessly for the love of Christ and his creation. They are definitely filled and lead by the Holt Spirit, ā€œtrueā€ to Christā€™s love! Heavenly Father continue to bless each and every person who walk through their doors whether it be to serve You Father or to receive services. May the healing hand of Jesus Christ strengthen and heal mentally, physically, and Spiritually! I humbly ask in Jesusā€™ Name, Amen.

Thought I would give this clinic a try because Iā€™m one of the many who cannot get on Medicaid because ā€œI make too muchā€ but cannot afford health insurance. You have to make a intake appointment and get blood work done before you can even make a new patient appointment. Plus, the staff is very judgmental instead of helping.

I found the health and hope clinic while trying to find a low cost or sliding scale dentist. My services here were all free. They offer sooooo much stuff too. First off, you have to have to have 3 appointments before you can see an actual dentist. Thatā€™s three rides you need secure, three shifts of work you have to cut short, etc. This is all BEFORE you can actually be seen for your issue. ā€”Intake appointment (at the clinic)ā€” I called to see about hours and such. This is when I set up an intake appointment. The intake is just paperwork, you do not see a doctor at all. The lady who talked to me over the phone was the same lady who helped me. She was literally the sweetest human being. Donā€™t let her phone etiquette fool you. She was very kind and willing to help. She seemed to be genuinely glad that I was there. I believe her name was Beth or something like that. I hate that I forgot. ā€”Lab workā€” I wonā€™t review this because it wasnā€™t at health and hope. Just know that H&H gives you about 8 options for places to go for this. ā€”Doctorā€™s appointment (at the clinic)ā€” The nurse (or nurse practitioner, Iā€™m not sure), Jeffrey, was another amazing human being that worked there. He was genuine, caring, and responsive to my needs. He did everything in his power to help keep me comfortable during one of the most painful times of my life (there is no exaggeration in that statement). I was having a hard time speaking because of my pain, and he adjusted his whole approach so that I wouldnā€™t have to talk so much. I know that doesnā€™t sound like much, but itā€™s the little things. I saw Dr. Erin Thompson, at least thatā€™s what my prescription says on it lol. I did not like her. She seemed to be annoyed that I was there at all. I felt like she was judging me for asking for pain medicine (I was there for an infected decaying tooth, so OBVIOUSLY I was in pain). She didnā€™t seem worried for my wellbeing at all. When I asked her questions, she gave me snarky sounding answers. Did I mention that I didnā€™t like her? Iā€™m grateful that I didnā€™t actually need her to do anything for me, except prescribe ibuprofen. Jeffrey came back after she was gone and he was going to help get on the waiting list for the dentistā€”the waiting list wasnā€™t mentioned to me at my intake appointment. I was able to get an appointment for the next week because of the severity of my condition. The lady who works with the dentist. She may be his assistant, but Iā€™m not sure. Her name is Beverly and I absolutely adore her! She gave me lots of tips to minimize pain until I could be seen. Sheā€™s just this super kind old lady. She was always available for questions, even after 5pm. My dental appointment was rough. It was my own thing though. Iā€™ve never had a procedure/surgery/extraction, so I was extremely nervous. I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Seigel was really funny and patient. I was squirming around (not on purpose), but he was still able to get me taken care of ā€”bless his soul. He made sure I was well numbed, and that I understood all of his aftercare instructions. He answered all of my weird questions, and he didnā€™t make me feel bad for being a terrible patient lol Even with all of his wonderful care, the actual extraction still sucked, take care of your teeth you guys! Prevent yourself from ever needing to see a dentist for anything more than routine stuff! Two students were observing and helping with my extraction, John and Marian. They did great! They helped me stay calm. John was observing and it was funny to see his head randomly popping up around the doctor and Marian. Marian made sure I wasn't drooling all over the place. The dental appointment was rough just because it was a dentist appointment. Everyone made me feel more calm and comfortable than I would have been if they hadnā€™t been there. Overall, the health and hope clinic is full of people who are there because they want to be! Did you know that almost everyone there is a volunteer, except three of them? Did you know that they have a food bank next door? Praise God for such a wonderful service.

Friendly staff. All volunteer doctors. They take the time to talk to you. They also have therapy groups, narcan, food distributions, dental, some specialists, and a pharmacy. This is for low or no income people. If you are hesitating to get help because you can not afford it, try this place. This is not a walk-in clinic, and plan on having an intake appointment first.

Anyone who left a negative review, shame on you! These people are wonderful. I have had a dr that I was not crazy about but everyone else has been wonderful. To the dr that I wasnā€™t crazy about, I still appreciate you and thank you. You still took time out of your busy life to do a great deed and work to treat me. I have had 2 drs that have treated me more thoroughly than drs that got paid a lot of money to see me in the past. Thank you to all who volunteer there, I know the life of a medical professional is demanding and you use your free time to do good. I couldnā€™t manage without this clinic and could not be more grateful for every single person there. The kindness I have been shown since the first call I made there is heart warming.

I give this place 5 stars because they have been helping me with my weight and Iā€™m getting my teeth pulled from them and also discovered I had a thyroid problem and theyā€™re looking at it and getting it taken care of before it becomes a problem
