I
found
the
health
and
hope
clinic
while
trying
to
find
a
low
cost
or
sliding
scale
dentist.
My
services
here
were
all
free.
They
offer
sooooo
much
stuff
too.
First
off,
you
have
to
have
to
have
3
appointments
before
you
can
see
an
actual
dentist.
Thatās
three
rides
you
need
secure,
three
shifts
of
work
you
have
to
cut
short,
etc.
This
is
all
BEFORE
you
can
actually
be
seen
for
your
issue.
āIntake
appointment
(at
the
clinic)ā
I
called
to
see
about
hours
and
such.
This
is
when
I
set
up
an
intake
appointment.
The
intake
is
just
paperwork,
you
do
not
see
a
doctor
at
all.
The
lady
who
talked
to
me
over
the
phone
was
the
same
lady
who
helped
me.
She
was
literally
the
sweetest
human
being.
Donāt
let
her
phone
etiquette
fool
you.
She
was
very
kind
and
willing
to
help.
She
seemed
to
be
genuinely
glad
that
I
was
there.
I
believe
her
name
was
Beth
or
something
like
that.
I
hate
that
I
forgot.
āLab
workā
I
wonāt
review
this
because
it
wasnāt
at
health
and
hope.
Just
know
that
H&H
gives
you
about
8
options
for
places
to
go
for
this.
āDoctorās
appointment
(at
the
clinic)ā
The
nurse
(or
nurse
practitioner,
Iām
not
sure),
Jeffrey,
was
another
amazing
human
being
that
worked
there.
He
was
genuine,
caring,
and
responsive
to
my
needs.
He
did
everything
in
his
power
to
help
keep
me
comfortable
during
one
of
the
most
painful
times
of
my
life
(there
is
no
exaggeration
in
that
statement).
I
was
having
a
hard
time
speaking
because
of
my
pain,
and
he
adjusted
his
whole
approach
so
that
I
wouldnāt
have
to
talk
so
much.
I
know
that
doesnāt
sound
like
much,
but
itās
the
little
things.
I
saw
Dr.
Erin
Thompson,
at
least
thatās
what
my
prescription
says
on
it
lol.
I
did
not
like
her.
She
seemed
to
be
annoyed
that
I
was
there
at
all.
I
felt
like
she
was
judging
me
for
asking
for
pain
medicine
(I
was
there
for
an
infected
decaying
tooth,
so
OBVIOUSLY
I
was
in
pain).
She
didnāt
seem
worried
for
my
wellbeing
at
all.
When
I
asked
her
questions,
she
gave
me
snarky
sounding
answers.
Did
I
mention
that
I
didnāt
like
her?
Iām
grateful
that
I
didnāt
actually
need
her
to
do
anything
for
me,
except
prescribe
ibuprofen.
Jeffrey
came
back
after
she
was
gone
and
he
was
going
to
help
get
on
the
waiting
list
for
the
dentistāthe
waiting
list
wasnāt
mentioned
to
me
at
my
intake
appointment.
I
was
able
to
get
an
appointment
for
the
next
week
because
of
the
severity
of
my
condition.
The
lady
who
works
with
the
dentist.
She
may
be
his
assistant,
but
Iām
not
sure.
Her
name
is
Beverly
and
I
absolutely
adore
her!
She
gave
me
lots
of
tips
to
minimize
pain
until
I
could
be
seen.
Sheās
just
this
super
kind
old
lady.
She
was
always
available
for
questions,
even
after
5pm.
My
dental
appointment
was
rough.
It
was
my
own
thing
though.
Iāve
never
had
a
procedure/surgery/extraction,
so
I
was
extremely
nervous.
I
had
no
idea
what
to
expect.
Dr.
Seigel
was
really
funny
and
patient.
I
was
squirming
around
(not
on
purpose),
but
he
was
still
able
to
get
me
taken
care
of
ābless
his
soul.
He
made
sure
I
was
well
numbed,
and
that
I
understood
all
of
his
aftercare
instructions.
He
answered
all
of
my
weird
questions,
and
he
didnāt
make
me
feel
bad
for
being
a
terrible
patient
lol
Even
with
all
of
his
wonderful
care,
the
actual
extraction
still
sucked,
take
care
of
your
teeth
you
guys!
Prevent
yourself
from
ever
needing
to
see
a
dentist
for
anything
more
than
routine
stuff!
Two
students
were
observing
and
helping
with
my
extraction,
John
and
Marian.
They
did
great!
They
helped
me
stay
calm.
John
was
observing
and
it
was
funny
to
see
his
head
randomly
popping
up
around
the
doctor
and
Marian.
Marian
made
sure
I
wasn't
drooling
all
over
the
place.
The
dental
appointment
was
rough
just
because
it
was
a
dentist
appointment.
Everyone
made
me
feel
more
calm
and
comfortable
than
I
would
have
been
if
they
hadnāt
been
there.
Overall,
the
health
and
hope
clinic
is
full
of
people
who
are
there
because
they
want
to
be!
Did
you
know
that
almost
everyone
there
is
a
volunteer,
except
three
of
them?
Did
you
know
that
they
have
a
food
bank
next
door?
Praise
God
for
such
a
wonderful
service.
