Amazing gem inside the Medina in Fez. Superb atmosphere and service with the best Moroccan food we tried in the city. The tables on the rooftop give an excellent view of the Medina!! (FYI no elevator)If you call them to make a reservation they will send a taxi to pick you up from your hotel at no extra charge. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Very customer friendly and kind, great atmosphere, and amazing foods. Rooftop, semi-rooftop terrace, and Riad-like ground floor. Quiet music and Wi-Fi infrastructure. *Also does a delivery service, very helpful when it’s too hot outside or you are exhausted from the sightseeing. One main dish is quite enough per person at a time but recommend to try other dishes by sharing with your fellow travellers. The service cost not included so tipping is advised, and you will be for sure fell satisfied enough to tip them. (Serves wine and beer despite being located in Old Medina)

While walking around the old Fes we were approached by a young guy with a menu in his hand. We politely said no, since we recently had a little appetizer nearby, and went forward. The kid was really polite and didn't persist. On a second thought, we went back to see the menu he was trying to show us. Boy, oh boy! We've never been this glad to have approached by anyone! 😅😅 What a setting and what a restaurant!! It's indeed a palace, so elegant, extravagant and royal! Everyone was super nice and  were so flexible to our requests. Aziz was our server and he was more than hospitable and kind. He literally made us feel at home, showed us around the restaurant, explained the restaurant/palace history, took us to the roof for the views and explained every single question we asked of him. We think he's the best server in all of Morocco 🇲🇦! Food was amazing! They had lamb and they had couscous but not lamb couscous. We asked if they can put lamb on top of the couscous and maybe cook it that way. We didn't think they would say yes but they agreed and it was DELICIOUS!!! The couscous was super soft and juicy and had the consistency of melting-in-your-mouth. The quantity was super good and we enjoyed every bite of it. I wish I hadn't ate at the other restaurant so I could order more. We were given a complementary dessert starter in the beginning of our lunch and some mint tea after we were done with our meal. Like I said, Aziz was so polite and poured the tea for us. The service couldn't have been better! If anyone is going to Fès we're definitely recommending this place to them. It's so hidden inside that it's not easy to spot and so thankful to that young man who approached us ♥ . It's literally a hidden heaven in Fès!

From the moment we walked into Mouda, we were taken aback by the breathtaking atmosphere, decor and the amazing experience. The service was excellent and we felt very welcomed by everyone. The food was stunning and made us fall in love with Moroccan cuisine. Truly an unforgettable dining experience. We already returned once and will definitely be returning.

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of historical Fez, navigate through the maze of streets and street vendors to arrive in this beautiful restaurant refurbished in the Moroccan style. The rooftop is a great location for dinner with spectacular sunset views. The service is wonderful and friendly and the food delicious (choose to have traditional Moroccan food of course!). Highly recommend a visit if you are in Fes!

One of the best dinners we had in Morocco. The place is beautiful and you can dine in many different areas. The staff were hospitable and gave some great suggestions. Food was excellent as well as the wine.

What a delightful place! This was by far the best food and service we’ve had in Fes. The owner personally greeted us and gave us a tour of all of the floors of the restaurant. Every floor has a different theme. We dined on the rooftop with wonderful panoramic views, The waitstaff was friendly and funny. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the veal tagine and the couscous chicken tagine. Ask for extra harissa on the side if you like it more spicy.

Beautiful place and the story behind this restaurant is also amazing. The food is delicious and everyone is very welcoming. There are traditional options and also other options from around the world. Definitely recommend if you are visiting the Medina in Fes.
