Very friendly staff, they are very helpful. We had lunch here and the menu offered simple, good and well presented things. Clean room. Common spaces well treated both inside and outside. Continental breakfast available not included in the room price. WiFi good.

It's awesome dinner. Not local price, but worth of it. If you stay fiana, you should come. Amazing staff, owner, lovely garden, delicious foods. I like drink menu. ... Owner said that he planted that tree 30 years ago. Now tree is grownup, so big.

I loved it. I had one of the big down stairs rooms so all lovely but of course no view as these upstairs rooms were all booked, I was a walk in. Great view from the terrace although no where to sit there. Restaurant area is all gorgeous wood , and lovely little garden space in front of that. They were then full for second night so I moved up to one of the top rooms with shared bathroom. Also lovely in wood and view window. Breakfast had three home made jams and honey. Various things available. Very friendly and helpful staff even with English. Close to walk to everything. Perfect 😁

A really nice guest house. Good standard of rooms at a fair price - the only things missing for us were a fan (thankfully wasn’t too hot when we stayed) and a mozzie net (we had our own. Restaurant was excellent - evening meals and breakfast both spot on. Outdoor garden space was lovely too - nice spot for a drink.

A very comfortable place to stay, though the rooms are a bit overpriced and lacking mosquito nets. I stayed there twice because I loved the attentive staff at the reception and restaurant. The food in the restaurant is honestly the best I have tried in Madagascar. The zebu a la citronelle is just delicious as it is the poulet a la moutarde. Prices are quite reasonable bearing in mind the quality of the product, the service and the skill.

Extremly good for the price! the location is also really good! we had a room with shared bathroom.. the best bathroom and room we had in Madagascar! and althoug there were other guests we never met them at the shower or toilett. Shower and toilett were also directly infront of our room. The Restaurant is fantastic! really tasty! and the breakfast also really good with very good confiture. The service is also fantastic!

Beautiful guest house. Rooms with shared bath and great views for 49,000 Ar. and en suite for 98,000 Ar. Restaurant is also great.

Some rooms are decently priced, others are quite expensive. Same with the dinner, quite expensive for what it is. Overall very good service but average hotel.

By far best hotel we‘ve stayed at in madagascar. beautiful and clean rooms, nice staff and awesome food. very much recommended (only thing: no moscito net- though we didnt see much of them in fiana)

Had a wonderful 5-days-stay with our kids at Tsara Guest House, our third stay in 20 years. The friendly and professional staff is still there amid the COVID-crisis which hit Madagascar’s tourism sector hard. The restaurant is still serving excellent meals for dinner and fresh sumptuous breakfasts. The high-quality bedding in nicely decorated rooms guaranteed deep sleep. The old town of Fianarantsoa is just a 5-minutes walk from the hotel and definitely worth visiting. We also did a wonderful day excursion to Ramonafana National park and the nearby thermal sprigs. These highlights are just a two-hours drive from Fianarantsoa (good roads). We will definitely be back to Tsara Guest House!
