Strongly recommend this place. So many local and seafood options. I wish I had a bigger belly to try everything. We are so glad we made it to the restaurant for amazing food that couldn’t find at the hotel or nearby. Will come back if we have a chance. The staff is so friendly and the view is so nice.

We wanted to try some authentic Fijian food during our stay near Port Denarau, so we tried this restaurant. We came on a Tuesday evening and there was a live band playing music. The ambiance was lively and the waitress was friendly as well. The food was good too. You can taste the perfect mix of seafood and spice. If you want to look for a place to eat at Port Denarau, this is the restaurant to go. The price is a bit expensive and geared for tourists, but the food and service was worth it.

Ordered the kokoda here - a fish ceviche in coconut cream - and watermelon juice. The kokoda was so delicious, it came topped with some vegetables and cucumbers. I just wish they served bread or something to dip with it. I ended scooping it with potato chips which was a delicious combo. The watermelon juice was made from fresh watermelon! I only was finding sugar syrups so I was happy to find a real fruit juice. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The place was right by the pier with beautiful views. Prices were a but higher than you would find in other areas but it was nice to try a new, fancier restaurant. I would recommend.

What a great find.. loved the food.. the ingredients are all local and freshly cooked.. mo frozen stuff.. very very friendly service. They laugh and joke with you.. and explain everything to the smallest detail.. it's a perfect first night in Fiji. We asked for many different dishes and shared it to have a taste of everything.. and still the food was alot. We didn't manage to finish it.

I wanted to try some authentic Fijian food and this did not disappoint. The staff were amazingly friendly and the food was incredible. I wanted to try some raw fish and the Kokoda didn’t disappoint. The flavours were amazing and the sides that come with the dish were excellent the bush fern salad in coconut cream was very tasty and the smoked eggplant I mistook for a smoked fish in coconut. The Nadina colada was the best pina colada I have had since I have been in Fiji. They also did a traditional kava taking which is has a ginger/cinnamon flavour. Also the staff were so lovely a couple were spending the last night on the island having dinner and the staff sang them a farewell song. I will be going back to try the ground cooked food which take about 40 min to prepare. This is a must go place

Excellent service. Let the wonderful Aggasai know what I was kinda wanting. She suggested three dishes and they were spot on. I then ordered a Lobster. You gotta pull them to pieces to get a the meat but worth the mess. Thank you for a wonderful lunch

Lovely restaurant, went twice. Had the fish curry the first time & the prawn in coconut sauce the second time..both delicious but it was the ota miti (fern in coconut cream) as my starter that was my food highlight of the trip! Very refreshing & absolutely scrumptious, highly recommend. Service is great especially Sherry who was wonderful. Hope I can return one day.

We were walking around undecided what to eat and we reached right at the end of marina and tucked away is this Fijian restaurant called Nadina - authentic Fijian restaurant. Beautiful food, great flavours and great atmosphere. Angie looked after us. Kava time was awesome. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great Fijian feed! Loved the Kokoda, would highly recommend trying it if you haven’t done so somewhere already. Was a great atmosphere and whilst we were there they were offering Kava as well which was a nice touch.

Wonderful restaurant at Denarau. Had a very nice "last" dinner in Fiji after returning on the Yasawa Flyer and our 10 PM flight back to the states. Very fresh and tasty food, great location outside on the deck with a nice view. Very good service to get us in and out before we had to go to the airport. I had the prawns and Fiji "ferns"(?) plate which was fantastic. Lots of other seafood options as well.

We dined here after reading all the good reviews and what an experience it was. Not only was the food absolutely delicious we were served by our lovely and always smiling waiter Aggie and her lovely helpers. We left it to Aggie to choose for us and she did not disappoint. We will definitely drive 45 mins from our resort and dine here again before we leave Fiji. Beats the pants off the overly self rated resort restaurants for authentic Fijian cuisine.

If there were more than 5 stars available I'd give them more. The flavours of Nadina easily match top international standards. I recommend traditional Fijian food although they do have some Western food for picky eaters. The staff are very friendly and service is great. In the evenings Tikila plays guitar and offers yaqona (kava) just outside the restaurant giving you a full Fiji experience. Pictured are kokoda, ika tavu and bu (coconut)

We came here for lunch today after seeing so many positive Google reviews and left happily fed by delicious food. Special mention to friendly and five star service by our lovely waitress Ana. We ordered the mixed seafood signature kovu and the ika vakalolo (fish with coconut cream). Both dishes were super delicious and yummy - great level of spice that is paired with rice, cassava and Fijian fresh vegetables. All the dishes ordered comes with carbs of your choice and vegetables. Highly recommended if you are looking to try some authentic Fijian tasty cuisine with some mild spices. With the Kovu, you will need to wait for 40 minutes so if you are not rushing somewhere - this is a great dish to order and wait for. Great experience all around. Will be back! Thank you.

Nice outdoor setting for dinner. Reasonable prices. Really good flavours, especially the chicken Kovu (beautiful mild curry cooked in banana leaves and with delicious sides). Service was good and quick. A must go for good Fijian food during your stay.

To the staff at Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant: You made our last night in Fiji more special than we could’ve ever imagined. The food was spectacular! Service impeccable. And the surprise that made our hearts overfilled with joy was when your entire restaurant staff came out to sing us a Fijian farewell song! 💕 The experience was beyond anything anyone in our group had felt before. You made us feel welcome in your home—and this meal felt as though we were dining with family. Fijians have big hearts, matched by their country’s equally vibrant beauty. 🌺 From the moment we landed—until the bittersweet moment we had to depart back to California—Fijians made us feel like one of their own. Welcomed into a home away from home. Vinaka (thank you) Fiji, we can’t wait to come back. #VinakaFiji 🇫🇯

Nice place to try Fijian cuisine, our food was very good, the waitress was very friendly, happy, and welcoming. We had questions about some ingredients with names unfamiliar to an American visitor, she was very knowledgeable about the food and explained what they were and how the dishes were prepared. We recommend it, and going back tomorrow. 👍🏼🙂

We enjoyed the food and service, thank you guys!☺️ Our fave was the salad with grilled octopus that we reordered after finishing our shared couple of starters. The octopus was tender and charred perfectly. The kokoda was also a lovely dish. It was a hot lunch day but once we got settled, we actually liked being outside because of the nice breeze. We would love to return!

My only regret in fiji is not finding this place until our last meal there! Ordered chicken wings,Fijian fish curry and sirloin steak. Spirit pours in cocktails were generous and authentic. Wing portion was a little disappointing, but they were incredibly delicious. Steak was tasty, good portion, fresh, cooked medium rare (more on the rare side) which worked well as was served on a hot plate, accompanied by mash potatoes and a delicious peppercorn sauce. The curry came with an accompanying feast and the presentation was absolutely top notch. Be sure to check the photos, and the staff are wonderful.

We spent our 31/12/23 at Nadina restaurant. We first wanted to get a seafood plater but we were advice by the waiter that it s going to be too long and its better to go with another dish. The cocktails (Mojito) was delicious. The Kovu seafood we chose for dinner was amazingly delicious. We highly recommend the mussels with garlic bread and Kovu. Octopus also was so tender and excellent. We decided after this wonderful diner to book for our last night in Fiji but this time for a Seafood platter and this time we wanted to make sure that it was possible to get one. We called many hours before our reservation but the waiters were not that kind on the phone and finally we did not know if we could get a seafood platter. Unfortunately, we decided to go elsewhere as we needed to be sure to get a seafood platter before our departure the next day. Overall the food there is undeniably delicious but the service on the phone need to be improved as they could loose a lot of clients simply like that.

Absolutely the best way to experience authentic Fijian food. Local owners and excellent service! We went back 2x and tried different things. All of it was wonderful! Loved the Kokoda, Kovu and the cassava chips Vulase was the kindest person and we loved getting to know her.

It’s rare for an Asian person to tip in a non tipping restaurant because we’re stingy as. But this restaurant was the first I’ve tipped in a long while. The Kokoda and prawn curry was amazing. The Kokoda was refreshing and had amazing texture. The prawn curry had an immense prawn portion which made it really good bang for its buck. They also had live music and a kava ceremony, which was a nice touch to our dining experience. Highly recommend.

Took my mom for her birthday and they had the table decorated a little fancier than the others and mom's chair had a gold net shawl draped on it. Food was amazing and the drinks were killers. They're pretty generous with the alcohol portion. Aggie was a hoot. She kept us laughing the whole time we were there. Only reason I didn't give 5-star is because food took a little longer to come, but would go back just for Aggie.

Leaning towards the best Fijian food in denarau island, the garlic bread lost its flavour by grilling it both sides but apart from that the lobster, chips etc was ok.. keep up the good work

This place was wonderful. The staff are lovely and professional, the atmosphere is friendly and warm and the FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS. Quality ingredients, expertly prepared, with no "Fiji time" wait. The wine is a bit expensive, but that is the only fault we could find. A must visit for anyone in the area.

This little gem is tucked away around the corner. Great cocktails with perfectly cooked seafood. We ordered the fish, prawns and the octopus. Both dishes were very tasty. Service was very quick and friendly. They also have entertainment whilst you eat.

Great place to experience local Fiji cuisine and flavors. We came for dinner without a booking and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. They also answered all our questions and made great suggestions based on our tastes. We ordered the Fijian fish curry, garlic mussels and pork belly along with some Cassava chips to start with. The meals were sensational! Don't forget to sample the Kava drink on your way out to finish off your meal.

I eat Fijian food mainly while I visit here, and OMG this place did not disappoint! Nadina's has the best Fijian food you will ever get on these beautiful islands. The food is fresh and has so much flavor!!! The server I had was so friendly, and I just love "Kava time" during the breaks in live music sets. Don't skip the rourou soup and whatever that dish is called that take 40 minutes to cook in the banana leaf. I will definitely be back numerous times during my 2 months stay. Thanks for blessing my senses 😋🙏🏽

I can't rave enough about this place. The Kovu and Kokoda were extremely flavorful and my kids (who don't eat fish) loved the grilled fish the team in the back whipped up for them. In normal Fijian fashion, the entire staff were all smiles and were happy to make changes to make changes to dishes based on dietary requirements. I highly recommend a stop at Nadina!

We didn’t particularly enjoy our dining experience this time around. Service was slow and it took forever for a mains to arrive. We splashed out on a steamed lobster with garlic butter but were presented with grilled lobster and mornay. No biggie but it lacked flavour and the staff did nothing to resolve the issue. Toilet also blocked so there was no rest room to use.

Come here for a traditional Fijian meal, that beats hotel restaurant prices. Friendly staff will make you feel comfortable and help you pick out the best of the menu. We loved the Fiji beef wok stir fry and the taro and cassava chips! We also had a coconut and banana pudding which tasted like chocolate pudding and the caramelised bananas were dreamy <3

The food is fantastic, service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and for the first time on the holiday i let out an audible ahhh - the beer and glasses are properly cold. If i had to describe in one word it would be "real". On a different level in all aspects to the restuarants in the international resorts on the island and all the others we've tried in the town so far.

Located within Port Denaurau complex. As our first meal in Fiji we want to try something Fijian authentic. A staff member from the cruise company guided us here. Allow some extra time as it took solid 1/2 hour to serve the food. The wait was worth and the food was great. Friendly service and staff members explained how they prepare the food etc during the wait time.

Friendly staff. Entertained with a couple of guys singing beautiful fijian songs. The restaurant served traditional fijian meals if you would like to try something a little different and out of the ordinary. The green soup tasted good even though my head was telling me that's wierd. Lol. Tried kava at this venue as well.

Perfection. Great water view, but tricky to find since it’s the last restaurant in a semi circle layout at the marina. Our waitress was friendly, funny, and knew exactly what we wanted. She suggested ordering various plates to share as we had 15 people in our group. We selected all the dishes she recommended including the expensive special 1 kg of grilled prawns head-on. All the foods were amazing - authentic taste as the name says. I can not recommend this place enough. We even ordered 2 chef specials that takes 40 min to prepare as stated on the menu. It’s a curry cooked inside banana leaves. All the foods were well balanced & fresh, nothing was overpowering to ruin your palate. Sorry, wish I had taken more photos of the other dishes. But I couldn’t hold back the hungry folks since the plates were very nicely presented as you can see from the photos.
