Just a few steps from The Outrigger Resort. Perfect spot for a sunset view, outstanding service from the small local team and delicious food at very reasonable prices. We went back a couple of times during our trip. Thanks to Loz & co for a great experience.

Amazing food- we thoroughly enjoyed the garlic and chilli mud crab, mussels and prawn fajitas. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive. We paid FJD151 for our food and a beer. Highly recommended! P.s. Bring an umbrella at night just in case- we got there at 5pm and had to run back to the resort with the kids in torrential rain!

Love the mud crab with roti! They are delicious and this place comes with a stunning sunset! Make sure you pre plan and have reservation for the booth so you get the best view of Fiji sunset! Highly recommended 👌

Incredible place for a scenic meal. They have a lot of well priced seafood options with beautiful tables right near the water. Each table has a wind curtain they can put down that cuts down the wind nicely without impairing the view.

This is the best option for value for money. Amazing food! Would recommend the mud crab, Kokoda, and fish and chips. Great service as well. The only drawback was the bugs. Our crab dinner was ruined by a swarm of flies. Maybe some fans are needed to keep the bugs away? Closed on Mondays!

Crab Shack is the BEST coastal restaurant ever! We stayed at the Outrigger for 5 days, and found this absolute gem of a place only 30m walk down the beach. The food is so fresh and prepared amazingly by Pa (chef with the skills). The girls manning the bar and tables could make a rock blush... Allison, Sai and Lina are the friendliest and most helpful staff ever! Will definitely be back again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ P.S. the music playlist is amazing!

The food here is fantastic, we were there for lunch and had the Fish tacos, Fish & Chips and the Surf & Turf burger. All delicious, the long Island iced tea packs a punch.

The best food, I was impressed. Service - 10/10,food 10/10 I ordered the Mud Crab, and it was incredible. A whole crab, plenty of meat, cooked in garlic butter with potato wedges I’ll be thinking about this meal for a while now 😅

I had high expectations coming in for some curry mud crabs. Seems like crab shacks only competition is the higher price point food that is average at outrigger which means it’s a very low bar crab shack has to fill. I had the mud crab in June and it barely had any meat, the most meat was the claws and the body was pretty much empty. The curry was more like a soup, lack of flavour and spices. The sauce to liquid is totally off. Rice was mush and low quality. True Mart rice is way superior. Atmospheres was like a beach bbq on a picnic table. I’d pass.

Fantastic seafood and sunset experience. Make sure you are down here before sunset to watch the best sunset over water you will ever sea. The host are fantastic just like the food. Only a short walk along the beach from the Outrigger.

Great alternative to the outrigger and only a stones throw away. Ice cold beer, great food menu, excellent prices, scenic views and very friendly service. What more could you ask for.

Fairly limited menu, but great food. We had the salads - tuna and prawn (see pictures) with an accompanying gin/tonic. The atmosphere is awesome right on the beach with good sunset views. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Prices are competitive compared to the Outrigger next door.

Fantastic casual dining for some local seafood. We came for a late lunch during the day and we're delighted at our easy it was to sit down and enjoy an amazing seafood meal. We had crab, burger, coconut salad and fish tacos finished with a cocktail and some Fiji gold beers Our group loved every bit of the meal. A must try when dining out in this area.

Do not miss out on this spot!! Right on the ocean, very rustic with stool style seating and picnic tables, they light up the trees at night and provide camping lamps for your table. The mud crabs are phenomenal - its hit or miss on the size and meat amount of any particular crab but the flavors are delicious and the meat tasty (highly recommend the curry!) We managed to devour 4 between 2 of us - but don't take this as a typical serving because the couple we ate with shared a crab and the seafood pot and that was just fine for them! Make a reservation - we almost missed out on this spot but the waitress remembered us from the previous night at the other restaurant and we also saw our friends and snuck onto their table.

Absolutely delicious food!! Beach bar and grill and crab shack are owned by the same people. We ate three nights in a row at them as it was so great, friendly staff, comfy atmosphere. We caught a few fish and beach bar and grill transformed them into the best seafood we’ve ever had- thank you Ravi, Dean, Pa, Sonia, Sai, and Alison!

We tried the crab and a couple burgers at this place just outside Outrigger. Quite expensive for Fiji, but perhaps you be expected given the location and proximity to a big resort. I was told the crab was good. Burgers were ok.

Great waterfront meal overlooking the ocean! The crab with Fiji curry and coconut gravy was to die for. We had it with roti, but I’d recommend getting rice too for maximum soaking up of all the flavours. The crab was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. Worth getting messy for. We also had the seafood pot, which was very tasty. Drinks were cold and prices were good across the board! We didn’t make a reso and just managed to squeeze in, so get your hotel to call ahead so you won’t be disappointed. Also be prepared to be patient, service is a little slow being they get very busy, but good things are worth waiting for. We would definitely be going back for their seafood platter but they’re closing for renovations so that will have to stay in our dreams.

Hard to fault. Cheaper, fresher than resort dining with a great atmosphere. Staff super friendly, tasty food that is hard to forget. Cocktails, imported beer and spirits all to compliment an outstanding seafood menu.

Excellent crabs. As you can see from the pictures they are quite large. My son also enjoyed his fish and chips.

Beautiful place to eat. Great food, fair prices, wonderful staff. 😍 Video shows how close to the ocean you are and the general layout of this outdoor dining space. We we re there late at night, but we're pleased there were no insects.

Fabulous crab 🦀 my husband and I really enjoyed it. Have booked for dinner tomorrow night with the kids. Only suggestion for improvement is some lemon water or wipes as hands get very dirty.

One of the top 5 dining experiences of our lives!!! The lobster in garlic butter was fantastic. Price ranges fron FJ$75 to $100 depending on size desired. Make a reservation for one of the beachfront "cabina/picnic tables". The views at sunset are world class. Service and traditional Fijian friendlinesd are heart warming and memorable.

The crab shack is so good, we went three nights in a row and are planning to go again soon. Staff are unbelievably friendly, made my partners milestone birthday incredibly special. Crab is incredible and clearly fresh, chefs are also skilled in cooking it - wok tossed with garlic and chilli was an excellent combination. Thank you to the Crab shack. The fish and chips is also very tasty, with the sensing used within the batter making the fish so good it is difficult to return to the regular fish and chips in Australia. Unbeatable- must visit when in Fiji

Rustic outdoor seating area with a sea view. The mud crab, fish tacos and mussels were hands down fantastic. Great selection of dishes
