Highly recommend the cakes here! Delicious, good sweet level and can differentiate with cakes in other places. P/s; matcha is quite strong in matcha mille crepe, could be too much if it not your type.

One of the best matchas I’ve ever tried!!! The color, the foam, the consistency, the taste. Enjoyed every sip of it! Matcha basque cheesecake and matcha madeleine were delicious as well. Highly recommend this place for all the tea lovers and not only!

It's always a joy to have an afternoon tea in this tea shop. They updated the cake menu every week, and always remember to ask for the advice for pairing tea and cake. They usually recommend the best pairing.

Such a peaceful and absolutely feel good place to learn more about tea culture and enjoy a wonderful selections of teas. This is also the perfect place to enjoy your own company or hang out with a friend or loved one. I am wonder there is a tea house in Helsinki. It is very rare to see at here, maybe is unique. Finland' winter is famous cold : ) , Coffee or tea are our mates. When you sit such a place, enjoy warm leisurely, talking to friends happily, this is life. Recommend Teemaa because this is hidden warm world belongs you or your family.

One of my Top 5 favourite places in Helsinki. I just feel happy and at peace when I'm there. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The tips they gave me, upped my tea game tremendously. Added bonus. If you had a tea there that you like, you can purchase it in the associated tea shop and continue savouring it at home.

I only took tea but they also have cakes. Lovely little place! Some very pretty pottery for sale, too.

The tea was of course delicious and the roll cake was as gently sweet and tasty as I would get in Japan. It was a very cosy and warm space and the service was polite and friendly. The male staff spoke good Japanese. Next time, I would like to try the matcha cheesecake, which has a good reputation.

So good I had to come back the next day before we left. The sit down tea selection is very robust and the owner is warm and welcoming and has a strong knowledge that she will share if you are curious. Very calming place to hang during the day. Yummy tarts and sweets. Laptop friendly.

My favorite place in Helsinki. The best tea and vibe. Matcha Koicha and matcha ice cream are one ❤️. I would definitely recommend to come here and find ‘your tea’.

Very good tea-drinking place! The staff know their stuff, there are some nice cakes, and the matcha related items, are actually worth it to have the word “matcha” in their name. We got gyokuro and matcha teas, and one matcha cheesecake and one other cheesecake. The matcha tea was very well brewed, in a very good quantity, with actually good matcha. The gyokuro, was also very well brewed, having three different steeps, offering a very nice gyokuro experience! Finally, the matcha cheesecake had very good quantity of matcha, amazing texture, and very nice taste. Definitely a must-go place and a good spot for trying out different teas.

Update: New favourite is sesame matcha. There are 3 layers, light bitter sesame outside, sesame cream (maybe) in the middle, and bitter sweet matcha inside. Nice Old post: Visited 2x already. Have not taken a photo yet. The cake menu is seasonal, what I had was sakura roll cake n matcha ice cream. The cake texture is smooth, spongy. The sweetness does not hurt my throat, perfect. The tea is good, served fresh, so the bitterness complete the sweet cakes. 1 of 4 out-of-the box cafes I had been in Finland, I like it.

Highly recommended. An excellent, friendly tea shop with great atmosphere, and careful attention to detail in every aspect. The owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about tea, and the selection may not be as large as another nearby tea shop, but perhaps because of this, everything is fresh, well stored, and seems to be chosen with great care. They have a great selection of interesting books on tea in English, Chinese and Finnish. The tea is served with care in beautiful simple tea ware. We drank some new season Chinese green tea in the shop, and it was the most fragrant and enjoyable tea I've drank in a long time.

Great place! Visiting it for 3 years. Awesome selection of real teas all over the world. Great stuff who can help to choose the tea for any occasion. Now they have online shop and nice area to sit where one can work.

The patisserie are full of flavours and really beautiful. The tea is also really good. The shop is well furnish with a wide selection of tea, bowls and tea cups. The place is small and really calm. It's a good place to take a tea and to relax.

Very cozy and friendly place. The tea quality is high with fair prices. They are very open to explain the tea culture and always suggest very interesting teas. There is also the possibility to drink there with tea brewed with the gongfu style. I got from here my best souvenir from Helsinki.

Best teahouse /store in Finland with a great selection of unflavored tea, and teaware. Friendly and extremely helpful service. Well worth a visit for anyone interested in tea!
