I have visited this mountain twice and it never stop to amaze me. In autumn and winter, with or without snow, the view is just amazing. If you go there and think it's cloudy, check out the webcam. It might be clear on top and you will get a beautiful land on the cloud scenery. In average, I spent 3 hours there and we just wish we could stay longer.

It's a nice ride up to Brauneck mountain offering some nice views, on a chat day you can see lake Starnberg, the Zugspitze and countless other alpine peaks. When we visited, para-sailors were out in force.

A quick and easy way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the mountains!

From Munich you can take the train to Lenggries and a free ski bus (10 min) to the gondola. There is a lot of terrain to explore. Many Alpine huts where you can stop for fairly priced beer and food. Most runs aren't very long but neither are the lines. We spend a weekend there once a year...longer would get a little boring.

Beautifull area to walk (in my case with two small dogs).

A very good Ski resort located close to Munich. I bought BRB kombi skipass and everything was smooth. There was a big queue in the morning (Sunday + nice weather) but beyond the first ride up, the lifts weren't crowded at all. The slopes are nice & challenging! Some parts (on Route 20, 21 for example) became almost un-skiable due to the bumps and ice. Lots of nice places to eat and for apreski. Overall, a very good experience and looking forward to returning!

Nice hike paths and hütte

Everyone was extremely kind in helping the member of our party with mobility issues get on and off the gondola. At the top there is a elevator up to the restaurant. Recommended for those with mobility challenges. Plus you cant beat the view.

Easy hike for kids and fun sliding down the hill!

Super comfortable and easy to access. Takes you directly to the Restaurant and from there you are able to do small hikes with kids

Great place for paragliding , skiing and trekking. Cable car is also available ( to and fro around 23€ ).

Nice area to do some skiing. The very warm cottages are recommendable

What's there not to love. The view and climb are exceptional.

Nice place, not so busy even during a weekend. Place to do some toboganing with kids. In terms of ski/snb only thing is that black piste does not seem to be properly taken care of.

Lovely place to ski, so far not so crowded. FYI, nearest edeka has electric car charging option.
