This place was nice and comfortable on a hot sunday afternoon, providing shade from the boiling weather. The service was pretty good and we would go back again, it does get busy here and seats are limited (or was when we got there) The general area does not have a huge choice of resteraunts and this one was open all afternoon (some of them close in the afternoon) The beer and wine were nice , we didnt try the food this time as it was busy and we didnt have time.

Delicious food! It is perfect for weddings, events, lunch and dinner for big groups. The location is superb and the service was great.We celebrated my sister's wedding in this restaurant and it was top!

The location and ambiance seem nice, but my wife and I agreed that we had one of worst schnitzel’s we’ve ever had. The schnitzel appeared to be pre made. The skimpy peppercorn sauce also did not seem fresh and was burned. I couldn’t finish my meal and had to stop for a doner on the way home. Enjoy a beer by the park but move on for dinner.

Very nice place and professional kitchen

The waiter was super slow and rude. We waited 10-15 for the menus. Food was good. Then we waited for our bill. We had to ask twice to get our bill, and it took more than 25 minutes. Then a different waitress came finally. The other guy just took a break!? And did not tell another waiter to help us. Nuts!

A great place to eat with good food, reasonable prices and, mist importantly, very friendly staff.

While the food itself was good, the service was NOT. The waiter was unfriendly and unprofessional. He kept having to ask us for our orders again and again even after writing them down. When he brought the salads, he brought too many. He dropped a drink on one of us too lol. We received a main dish late because the order was never placed. By the time it arrived, everyone else was already done eating. And in the end, we were overcharged by the waiter (though the manager corrected and refunded the difference). As it stands however, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Nice place to sit and enjoy the nature on an island across the river from Mainz. Food is a bit less interesting

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! The Place its self is amazing with a lots of history and beautiful ambient. The food was beyond great with great customer service and hospitality. I definitely will come back here and I recomend it to anyone . 👍👌
