Very cool. This is attached to the Amtrak station and if you stop here, I recommend catching a later train in just enjoying the city. Start with the visited center located in the Amtrak building. They have a lot of cool knickknacks for sale, as well as some local artist stickers and shirts. If you like trains, they do too lol. I loved the toy train riding around on the ceiling and the tiny detailed model. The downtown is literally right on the other side of the track. You can find thrift, stores, outfitters, stores, bars, and restaurants galore. Downtown Flagstaff is definitely walkable even better on a bike. I recommend letting this visitor center be your starting point to experiencing the city As a Pokémon GO player, this is a great place to start playing. The downtown area is plethora or gyms and PokéStops 🤙

Parking is small but there are other parking options few meters away. The Visitor Center is actually a train station, so you can see some trains going through. You can get some souvenirs at good price there. PS: Make sure to bring a quarter coin to make to work the train inside of the store.

Utilizing the Flixbus for the first time ever! Getting out of town with 2 of my children. It's an experience like Greyhound except we didn't sit in our assigned seats, people just sat where they wanted to. We ended up way in the back end. As long as we get to our destination I suppose. Comfortable seats so far! Cruising down 117 and kicking back. I'm glad nobody hasn't gone to utilize the accommodations yet. 🤣🤣 We had to wait awhile, bus leaves at 320pm. He was here an hour early and waited for passengers..

Worth visiting. The staffs are friendly and I had a good time looking around the gift shop and loved their collection. Got a cute magnet and some stickers. Would recommend to stop by when you are around the downtown area. :)

Right in the beginning of historic downtown. Lots of local maps and walking tour guides. Two large rooms of gifts and souvenirs... with of course fun route 66 gear. The ladies working were very friendly and helpful. I love the visitors center! It's always my first stop to check out fun Route 66 souvenirs and maps. It's a great place to learn about the towns history. I grew up in a train town, so I find the sounds of the constant trains passing through to be relaxing. From the visitor's center it's a quick walk into town or to a nearby yummy eatery. We walked to Beaver Street Brewery for lunch and then their sister spot across the street at Lumberyard Brewing. Cute little place right in the middle of downtown Flagstaff. Staff was very friendly, and the gift store had lots of good Flagstaff branded items along with of course trains. If you're making a tour of old downtown definitely stop by.

It’s a very unique visitor center, and it’s on Highway 66. You must stop and visit if you pass by.

Very good atmosfeer. There were several tours around the village you could do by yourself. They were printed. We did the haunted buildings tour. Fun! Oh and go to public library if you have children. They loved it there

Great team, friendly and courteous - lots of cool gifts, such as local area, train, and NP gifts in a functioning train station as well as route 66 swag. We will be back.

Our family had fun watching the trains go by! The gift shop was great too. My kids got a toy train and train whistle. I also thought it was nice that they had a public charging station for electronics as well as electric vehicle charging stations.
