Ate lunch here on a Monday. Surprised to see a 4% "Flagstaff Service Charge" added to the entire bill. Why not make the menu prices higher instead of this annoying fee? This was NOT disclosed in the menu nor anywhere I saw in the restaurant. I can understand charging a % of the bill IF PAYING BY CREDIT CARD - that's called surcharging and is acceptable if clearly and transparently disclosed to the customer. Service was good. Aiden was attentive and prompt. She's a 🏆. Food was well-portioned and not overly seasoned. Loved the salsa and chips that comes as part of the experience. The salsa were really a highlight. I would highly recommend the owners prominently and transparently disclose ALL charges to customers prior to ordering. This under-handed billing practice will destroy your business. Customers don't mind pay IF they are made aware of the costs prior to purchase.

This was by far the best Mexican food I've ever had. The drinks were great. The food was fantastic. The service was great. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!

Very average food. Had the Navajo taco and flan. The Navajo taco was okay. Being from Texas, the Mexican food up in Flagstaff tasted different, as expected. Flan was good - I like sweets so it's hard to be disappointed. Where it got interesting was time for the check. After we got our food, we never saw our waiter again. He didn't come to refill our drinks or anything. Wasn't a big deal, I guess. However, I asked many times for the check and never got it. Finally got frustrated enough to go to the host station and asked them to please provide a check to pay. Another guy brought us the check. We paid and left.

We had such high hopes for this highly recommended eatery. Food was ..meh. Beans and chip were good. Our appetizer came out after our meal and service was terrible. Our waitress walked by, never stopped as she asked how everything was. Never refilled our drinks. Sat with coworkers, all of them sitting rolling forks and napkins. She went to get a receipt and she went and sat down, and forgot about us. Another waitress got it for us. Disappointed we really wanted a good place to eat when we pass through flagstaff. We won’t be back to eat here.

Great food, service and experience. We had a large party without reservations, the staff quickly assembled a table, pre-set chips and salsa out as well as a water for our party and was very attentive. I personally had the Stuffed Sopapilla with chicken, was fantastic and huge! Highly recommend. Was a Triple D recommendation!

Nice happy hour drinks and apps. Three salsas to try with the chips. The hot one- wasn't though. If you got 3 to choose from and you want the hot one, why not make it hot. People who don't want hot can try the other two.🤪 Food and portions were pretty good. Over all, if I were passing through again I may stop here again.

I ordered the carneasada tacos and they were terrible. The meat was so gross and it was like boiled and tasteless. Mike ordered avada tacos and he said the meat was fine but the seasoning was like heavily coated w chili pepper/paprika. The beans and rice were average. I was craving delicious Mexican tacos so that is a disappointment. The staff were great though. They get an A+, everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

The picture doesn’t do the food justice. I had the camaron enchiladas. They were so delicious as well as the rice and beans. Everything had so much flavor. If you are a seafood lover, I highly recommend trying this dish, you won’t be disappointed! :)

Delicious chips and salsa! Tried their Navajo taco which is massive, the pork was a little dry but overall it was good, and tried their blackened salmon tacos which were good too. I would revisit to try some other entrees.

I've been coming here for years but haven't been back since Covid. They don't have their Salsa bar anymore but omg still the best amazing food ever! We shared a Gordito Burrito...always fun and always worth it!

Now I know why their parking lot is always packed every time I drive by this place. The food was hot and yummy. We shared a combo because the portions were huge. If you’re in Flagstaff and craving Mexican food, check this place out.

Let’s start with salsas, try all three, one is pico, one chipotle and one peach. Yummy! Next the peach carnitas tacos were A M A Z I N G, just melted in your mouth. The shrimp and lobster enchiladas with cilantro crème sauce were savory and delicious. The chicken tacos were good but paled In comparison to the other two. The fried ice cream was very tasty and the perfect finish to our meal. Edie was a great server, very attentive and knowledgeable.

My husband & I shared tacos because we just wanted something light to eat & they were really good. We also ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake and key lime pie to go…. and oh my goodness I’ve never had better dessert than those two! They were incredible!!

It was great. The food was delish. The servers were super nice. I have always enjoyed myself here. The atmosphere is welcoming. The music is a tad loud but not overly annoying. I don't know Spanish. Thank you I tipped 30%

What an interesting and underwhelming experience eating at this restaurant. I was excited to come here when I read all the rave reviews on Google. But sometimes you have people that don't understand food. Obviously the people that are local here don't have much choice in this small town and they don't know a good Mexican food is. The outside atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and inside I enjoyed the decor. The service was very cold. The waiter who I'm not sure if was a boy or a girl was completely unaware of the menu. He/ She had no ability or desire to answer my question about the food. The food arrived very quickly which surprised me. The presentation was very nice. I have to commend the restaurant for that. It definitely was pleasing to look at. However the flavors were bland. I ordered the peach jalapeno carnita tacos and let's just say they were extremely bland. I think there was one little piece of jalapeno on the plate but I couldn't find jalapeno in the actual tacos. Maybe the cook forgot to put them in. Keyword is cook as there is definitely not a chef here. I think the owner may be very clever but unfortunately he's not here and the food is very substandard. I was presented with three salsas and they were all very underwhelming. I've had better salsa at Chili's. And that's pretty bad. The rice was stale and it had hard crunchy pieces in it that would break your teeth. It sat around way too long. Would I ever come back to this place? Knowing yes. If I was going out with some friends who honestly had no clue what good Mexican food was and they wanted to come here I'd be happy to come here but I would know not to expect very much. The only really good thing is the presentation of the food. So in the photos it looks very nice but you don't have to put the food down your throat. Look closely at the tomatoes in the salsa. They shouldn't even be serving these they were so unripe and they were so bland and pulpey that they were literally inedible. If you can't provide a proper right tomato then don't serve that salsa for the evening. Enough said. If you are craving Mexican food and you're in town for the night and you want something a step above del Taco or Taco Bell and you don't have high expectations then this place might fill your needs.

Popped in on a Wednesday at 4pm for Happy Hour. They had great HH margaritas for $4. I am on the hunt for good salsa and I like mine pretty spicy, but they did not have a salsa that checked that box for me. I also got the HH taco deal, 2 for $6 and I ordered the fried fish tacos. Also in the picture is the elote appetizer/starter. Service was great, our server was friendly and checked in on us frequently. I will be going back for HH.

I enjoy the food and the happy hour margarita I choose mango 🥭 it was tasty but not strong. Food was good. Salsas was good. I fried bread pricey in my opinion but Worth to try. Cheese enchiladas was ok.

The service was great! Our guy really did a great job! The food portion is huge, I was full and had to take a big box home! The flavor is tasty, delicious!

Nice place, friendly staff. Passed through Flagstaff on a road trip to California, the food was really good and great flavor.. on 1 star reviews, some people just can't be pleased... It's worth stopping in on this dinner drive in and dive...

Went to Flagstaff for a day trip. The kids picked the place to eat. It took awhile to get service. Received the food but was missing items, waitress didn't come to check on us. The manager called a meeting with the staff. Which caused there to be no servers available. The food was ok.

This is one of our favorite places for Mexican food. The salsas are really good, and they have a decent happy hour. Recently tried the elote (pictured), and it was great!

I had high hopes for this restaurant as it was on DDD. I ordered the enchiladas. They were warm. Considering what the melted cheese looked like, it's very possible that the meal could have been under a heat lamp for some time. The Burrito seemed to be much better and hot. Cheap beer prices were great! Chips and homemade salsa were great. Asked for hot sauce to go with the enchiladas, but the restaurant doesn't carry any.

Definitely worth the visit if you're in Flagstaff! They have the tree lit up right now. Delicious food, great service. Pinapple Salsa YUM! Keep your jacket on (or at least the kid's jackets on) if near the front door in cold months, gnarly draft when the door opens. They can't help that I suppose. Decent prices too!

Had the sopapilla with smoked chicken. It was really great. The waiter was young/ new never asked if I wanted a drink refill and we both only got a little napkin with our food and I had to track him down to get more napkins. Would definitely eat here again.

The salsa is DELICIOUS! We devoured the chips & salsa. We barely had any room for dinner. After we gor our full of chips, salsa, & margaritas, we finally ate our dinner. The food was also very good! Our waiter was very attentive & on top of everything. The only thing that wasn't very good was that the floor was rather slick.

Went here after seeing the stellar reviews. I walked in and the wait time was an hour. We sign up and get in in twenty minutes, which was great. It was downhill from there. The chips were generic and hard and the salsa was meh. We ordered and all got the wrong food. The table next to us eventually left after bit getting served over an hour. The steak Fajitas had a single slice of bell peppers and was mostly onion. The steak in the Fajitas was fatty. The gordito burrito was extremely bland. Don't bother Edit: they also double charged me for a burrito
