It was my first time eating hand-pulled noodles and Shang Artisan Noodle didn’t disappoint. It’s a small, intimate space so come early! The menu isn’t huge but what they make, they do excellently! The service was fast, friendly and the servers went out of their way to accommodate my requests, even though they got really busy after we arrived. We ate steamed beef dumplings, pan fried dumplings filled with pork and cabbage, cucumber salad, Dan Dan sauced Noodles with minced pork and Pork Belly Noodle soup. Everything was delicious, and well seasoned. They even altered the spiciness of the Dan Dan noodles for me, to a mild level, and it was very tasty. I saw a lot of people ordering food to go. There is also a Yelp check-in option. They have counter seating, where you can see the kitchen at work and the noodles being pulled….and a few small tables. If you’re coming with a party bigger than 4, I would call ahead and let them know. They appear to be more than willing to accommodate people despite the small space. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Came here after seeing what the Google zeitgeist thought. Boy am I glad I did! Line was out the door so I ordered to go. Pork dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. Holy poo, were they great! The noodles were hand made, spicy, and the pork was perfect. The dumplings were generous and were damn tasty. Make the trip to this spot if you can. Not too far from the Strip too!

This is by far the best Chinese noodles place that I have ever been in Vegas. First, their hand-made noodles is phenomenal - unique from other noodles places. Second, their broth is great, aromatic and flavorful. It’s not as salty as normal Chinese noodles soup. Their beef is slow-cooked and has enough spices. As a foodie and having a high standard for noodles soup, I strongly recommend you check out this place. Also, their service is super efficient! The dish came out like almost instantly. When we finish, they bring out the check for us to sign whenever we want without we having to stop anyone to ask for a check

This is a small place that have about a dozen tables and a counter for seating. It was somewhat crowded when we were there on Sunday around 11:40 am and it was getting full. The food was great. They had a lot of people working for a small place. They have about 6 people working in the kitchen that we can see. Three servers that constantly checking on us while we were eating. The food was very taste and fresh pull noodles. It was fun to watch the person pulling the dough into strings of noodles. It is freshly made. The noodles was firm and the soup sock was very good. I highly recommend this for people that loves noodles and Northern China style. Also, I wanted to point out you can have them increase the spice intensity if you like. We just wanted it non spicy. The cucumber salad was crunchy and fresh. Becareful tho if you order this dish, note that it seems to be a peanut sauce that is applied to the salad, if you are allergic to peanut, you may want to double check with the server before ordering.

Homemade noodles while they work on the noodles. Our family of 4 we had Dan Dan noodles, shank beef noodles. Tasty Quality beef and the broth made the dish. I had the Dan Dan. Cool hamburger on top and spicy flavor on the bottom . Chili oil, beefy flavor required mixing before eating. The beef potstickers was created nice and crunchy, what saved me from the spicy was the cool seasoned cucumber side. Tips: Be early when they open, it’s a small place or you will be waiting outside. sign in on the tablet for waiting list on your right when you enter. Also, regular Dan Dan dish is quite spicy. If you can’t handle some heat. Ask to tame down the hotness when you order. U can always add heat. As always, post wherever you’re palate takes you and explore local.

Fantastic noodle house in Vegas. Love their noodles. Come at opening to avoid lines , they are super efficient here. I prefer their beef noodle soup and spicy wonton. My lady got the seafood Soup which was much lighter in taste. Great service and good experience.

[Above all, will I be back?] It was my first visit and this became my favorite Chinese noodle joint in Vegas! There are so many good reviews about this place and it was not a lie! The food, interior, hygiene, service and even the affordable prices, .... everything was excellent! I am so happy I tried here and will definitely be back with my local or out of state guests. Can't wait to try other noodles at this small hole in the wall again! 1. Food You can choose from 3 different types of noodles. Hand-pulled / Knife-shaved / Plain (original) - (5/5) Dan Dan Noodles with a choice of hand-pulled noodles OMG! It is a perfect level of spiciness for spicy lovers! The best Dan Dan I ever had! The seasoning and spiciness was just perfect. Not too salty with full of flavor. The minced pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was not too dry. The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly cooked. Not too soggy, or too chewy! Good and happy portion as well. I wanted more but I was full lol How many times did I say "perfect" for this food? lol - (3/5) Cucumber salad I was not a big fan of the dark sesame sauce. You can ask for the sauce to be side. I prefer traditional style sauce. 2. Ambience It is a small, narrow place with about less than 10 tables and 20 bar seats. You can see staff making hand-pulled noodles and cook through glass. Lively, casual and busy. Not a place to relax and chat, grab a bite and go. 3. Service The staff was friendly, quick and attentive. Nothing to complain. 4. Hygiene The glasses, cups, utensils, the table and floor were clean. 5. Price It was affordable. most of the noodles are under $13. What a great deal these days! (Average price for Pho is $15, Ramen is $13 in Vegas) 6. Restroom It was clean and well maintained. Gender separated. 7. Location It is on Flamingo, near Decatur. Less than 15 minutes from the Strip. 8. Parking It is limited and small so it might be hard to find a spot. 9. ETC - Use YELP Waitlist: There was a 40 minute wait at 12:30p on Wednesday (without reservation) but it worth the wait! * If this review was helpful, please vote :) ** Let's get connected - Instagram @juxycat

We enjoy watching strictly dumpling on YouTube. When mike came to Vegas and visited some noodle shops this seemed to be his top pick. He was not wrong. This little noodle shop has the best noodles sauce and broth I’ve ever had. We enjoyed pork dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and pork belly soup with hand pulled noodles. I wish I was still hungry so I could keep eating! So full!

Travelling from out of town, first time to the Vegas area. Found this on a whim looking for local tasty noodle places, and just wow! Amazing hand pulled noodles and broth. The takeout portions were huge and well-packaged. We ordered the pork belly soup and spicy wontons. So so good. Pork belly was very tender in a dark, savory broth. Next time we’ll try the beef noodle soup.

If you’re looking for good quality noodles definitely try that place out! We had the cucumber salad and spicy Dan Dan Noodles that were probably the best you’ll eat in town! The food came super fast and service was quick and polite. Make sure to make a reservation because this restaurant is busy!

My first time visiting after their expansion. The dining area is very spacious now and the music is bearable. Before the music was way too loud and the dining room was too cramped for a comfortable meal. The food is on par with what it was before. Consistently high quality. The soup broth was not overly salty like a lot of other soup places. The noodles are superb. The beef pancakes were a little bit doughy and thick. If you come for quality Asian food, this is the place. The service was fast today, but can be inconsistent sometimes.

Amazing noodles with deep broth flavor. I got the knife cut noodles with beef shank in the white (beef and chicken) broth. The open kitchen gives you a heck of a show as noodles are constantly being pulled or cut. It is a tiny location, so be prepared to come right when they open or wait for a bit. The turnaround does seem pretty quick - you'll probably only spend 30-45 minutes here. They also appear to have a bustling pick up/to-go option. Definitely going to revisit next time I'm in town.

What a great experience. We went for lunch and we’re greeted with a wonderful smile and you felt appreciated for stopping by. We barley had to wait. We shared the cucumber salad and spicy wantons to start. For entrees we had pork belly hand pulled noodles and the cold chicken noodles. All in all a wonderful experience with kind, and efficient service. Would secondly return. The flavors of each dish were wonderful.

This place is really really delicious! I always crave noodles when I'm on vacation and this satisfied my cravings. I got the Shang Beef Noodle Soup, and the broth had a very rich beef flavor. I got knife cut noodles, and it was super flavorful! The meat was falling apart delicious and everything about it screamed home to me. I also got the beef pancakes, which I recommend, they were burning with flavor! Next time I'm in Vegas I will definitely come back. You won't be dissapointed!

This place has decent hand pulled noodles, with good potstickers and spicy wontons. I think the customer service is what pulled me from a three to four star review. It’s not bad Chinese food, I’ve just had better and I’m very particular. The tomato and egg noodles were really good, I just don’t know if I would say they actually made me think of when I lived in China. I would 100% get their potstickers though. The pork and cabbage was very good. So essentially you’re getting good food, that’s just shy of authentic, and excellent customer service. Not a bad way to go for lunch or dinner!

Wow, what an awesome experience. Hand pulled noodles in a variety of broths with delicious appetizers all for less than $20 a person? Incredible. We came on a Saturday with a party of 5. Luckily I joined the wait list early because there was an advertised 55 minute wait. After a 30 minute drive, we checked in and only had to wait another 10 minutes. The seating was family style with long tables and benches shared among most of the patrons. The kitchen is open and you can watch the noodles being handmade. Service was super fast. Though, some of our appetizers came out after our soups, they all made it. Most of us got the spicy beef soup which was the perfect heat and had huge chunks of beef in it. The broth and noodles and beef were perfection. The spicy wonton appetizer was the star, but the spicy dumplings and pot stickers were also excellent. The pork soup was also a hit. And we also got a side of pork belly to try which was fantastic. The pricing and flavor is so good it's no wonder the lines are out of the door. Definitely recommend joining the waitlist!

The taste is so delicious and you can really feel the freshness of the noodles. I definitely find this to be a super warm comfort food (spicy if you get spicy dishes) but all in all very tasty. There is quite a wait time in the winter time and before 8:30 pm so join the waitlist!

The service and the atmosphere here was terrific. And I can completely understand the ‘hype’ around handmade noodles and chefs doing tricks in front of you- though I can’t see it I would recommend this to anyone. The only dish that had flavor here is the Dan Dan Noodles. The beef was diced smoothly into the noodles and the spice something not to mess with! Though, my partner ordered the pork noodle soup (I forget the name) and even a simple soup like that was missing basic salt and chili. He also ordered the dumplings, and the shell was way too thick. The beef inside was juicy, but the plain shell had no flavor whatsoever. I don’t believe I would come back again, as there are much more noodle restaurants in Vegas.

Worth the wait time. Pork belly noodle was great. We also ordered some shrimp fried rice and dumplings. We sat at the "bar" so it was cool seeing them make noodles fresh in front of us. Very attentive/multi-lingual staff who made great recommendations and explanations when we had questions about portions, spiciness levels, etc.

What an incredible experience and amazing meal! I love the beautiful interior! The gorgeous, massive, custom hardwood and epoxy community table running down the center of the restaurant is AWESOME, and the food is even better. Staff was great, food was ready super quickly, and everything was delicious, cannot wait to eat here again!

Best Asian food I’ve had since visiting Chinatown in New York. Delicious! We had the Beef noodle soup and it was so tender and the broth very flavorful. I got the hand pulled noodles in my mushroom and chicken bowl. They added the black Chinese fungi mushroom that was perfect. Dumpling were also very juicy with soft meat. The noodle around the dumplings were A little thick for my preference.

So good. Couldn't believe how cheap it was. We had dinner for 2...tried the Dan Dan noodles, cucumber salad, spicy pork dumplings, and spicy beef ramen (and maybe something I'm forgetting). All of it was great. Loved the cucumber salad. The noodles were hand spun and we had a view of the kitchen where you can watch the noodles get made. To put in perspective...I paid $60 for breakfast at the Wynn for one person. We paid $50 for this meal for 2 and it was soooo much better. Never eat on the strip. Check out places like this. So worth it. Will definitely be back.

Great place for noodles! We loved watching them make them fresh. The tables and furniture, overall ambiance is nice. Tons of options to choose from. Serving sizes are huge. We needed 5 noodles for 7 people. Only downside for being so popular is the huge wait. We had to wait an hour and barely got in before they shut down the kitchen. They’ll start hitting you up for last orders around 15 mins before closing. So be aware and plan ahead. I would love to go back and try more noodles.

Very good food. The cucumbers were nice, but a little boring for me. The spicy wanton were wonderful. I really recommend it. The Shang Noodle Soup was good the noodles were great. I would try another dish. Overall a very good choice for dinner. But make a reservation. It was busy at 5pm on a Saturday.

The noodles are at par. Soup is too salty. Should've ordered the fried rice, maybe it would be better. The only thing we liked was the spicy wonton. Pork belly noodle soup has a lot of pork fat in it. The Shang beef noodle meat was good.

We ordered the Pork rib noodle soup and chicken chow Mein, of which loved the noodle soup! It was just one of a kind! Also, go for the hand pulled noodles for the soup. Also, one bowl of noodle soup will be more than enough for 1 person. There are vegetarian options too. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

You know those places that you eat at and you want to go back and give every other restaurant you've reviewed a lower score because it was so good? This was ours. Google needs to give us the ability to give 6 stars once a year so I can use it on this place. Topped the list of favorites after one visit. Amazing dishes and a spicy food lover's dream. We had the spicy pot stickers, the Shang beef noodle soup with hand pulled noodles, seafood soup, with extra pork belly. The broth has a depth of flavor that is incredibly satisfying- rich but not too heavy, spicy but not bitter. Cannot wait to come back and try the other menu items and the knife cut noodles. Since we've heard the wait can be long, we checked in online and we were seated as soon as we arrived which was an awesome feature. Only downside is that it's a little loud.

Incredible yumminess!!! Noodles are so fresh and tasty. Chicken chow main was the best I've ever had. Chicken tender and delicious 😋. The soup was good too, but the chow main was much much much better!

Dropped by on a Monday afternoon for lunch. Overall this place is a thumbs up with a for sure return in the future. Servers are fast and efficient with an electronic ordering system that appears to work well and helps everyone keep track of everything. I think some items require different cook times and can cause a lag in deliver of some items. I loved the cucumber salad. It’s so refreshing when it’s 100+ degrees outside! It’s topped with a sesame sauce that I really liked. The pork and cabbage potstickers gave me DTF (Ding Tai Fung) vibes. They were good and bite sized, just didn’t move me much and I can probably skip them next time. At first the beef pancake didn’t look appealing to us but after I ate the first one and gave the green light we agreed it tasted better than the presentation. The spicy wonton is flavored with the type of chili oil that will make you cough if you breath it in while you eat. I like that type of sauce/oil mixture but it’s not for everyone! The chicken chow mein is a huge dish and shareable for a few people. The Shang noodle is a winner. We ordered ours a little spicy with hand pulled noodles and was glad we hit on the right combination. The cold noodle was ok and nothing to return for and the pork belly noodle was a disappointment. The pork belly pieces tasted like day old, microwaved meat. It was tough to chew and while the fatty parts were chewy , the meat had the consistency of beef jerky. We definitely won’t be back for that dish! The rest was good and the service was spot on. In and out quickly to turn over the seats without feeling rushed.

Awesome beef noodle spot! Heard a lot of great things about this place and was not disappointed. Popped in for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait as a solo diner. The place filled up after I got there though. Service was quick and friendly. They explained the menu and made recommendations for popular items. The broth was rich and flavorful. The homemade noodles had a nice chew to it. They serve a generous portion of tender beef. The wonton appetizer was tasty. This is a perfect spot for when it starts getting cool im Vegas.

The noodles at Shang are an absolute delight, ranking among the best I've ever had. The broth, on the other hand, is a masterpiece, boasting an extraordinary depth of flavor, rich and satisfying in texture. As for the meat, it's simply incredible – tender, and bursting with an array of delightful flavors. During our stay in Vegas, we found ourselves returning to Shang twice, a decision we made after discovering it on our third day out of a five-day trip. Truth be told, we might have even made it a third visit if we had known about it earlier. Both my husband and I enthusiastically ordered the Shàng Beef Noodle, and I can assure you that it's a dish that you absolutely must try. It's nothing short of delicious! We also ventured into the realm of the Spicy Wontons, and they proved to be a delightful surprise, making them a definite must-try as well. However, we did encounter a slight disappointment with the Pork and Cabbage boiled dumplings. The thick dough overwhelmed the flavors of the filling, and for this reason, I cannot recommend this particular dish. A thinner dough would have allowed us to fully savor the pork and cabbage flavors. On a brighter note, the side dishes of bakchoi and spring rolls were both delightful and left us satisfied. Rest assured, the day we return to Las Vegas, Shang will be our very first destination without a doubt!

Fast casual restaurant with fresh noodle dishes or a selection of ramen bowls. Food quality was superb and the service was excellent for them being so busy and that was just for lunch. Parking can get a little tight as it is in a strip mall so do plan ahead.

  • 5/5 A Y. 6 months ago on Google
Enjoyed their dishes as well as watching how they make them in front of my table. Highly recommend to book before arrival. Their dishes and atmosphere were amazing, but it was very crowded when visited on a Friday evening. If you're a group of more than 4, I would highly recommend to reserve (they have online reservation system) an hour in advance. It may not be easy to find a parking spot by the store if you arrived at a peak time.

  • 5/5 Anthony L. 5 months ago on Google
Best Shang Noodles I have ever had by far. The staffs are friendly and quick to take you order. The Shang beef noodles are really good along with the wonton dumplings. Overall the quality of the food is very flavorful, the meat is tender and juice and the sauce is very on point. I highly recommend stopping by here and give this place a try.

When you think of hand pulled noodles in Vegas, it's usually here or Magic Noodle. Shang is prob my favorite. I usually order the "Shang Beef Noodle", but this time, I decided to try something new and got the fried rice and shrimp/chicken lo mein, (thick sliced noodle). Still amazing! We got there at mid lunch rush, was seated at the bar with no wait. (if you wanted a table, wait was about 10-15 min). Would highly suggest you reserve on the Yelp wait list if Shang is on your list.

Our visit to this restaurant was nothing short of delightful. Their beef noodle soup, boasting a good amount of brisket beef, was a standout. The beef flavor in the soup was remarkably intense, and notably more pronounced than in other beef noodle soups we've tried elsewhere. The soup wasn't overwhelmed by vinegar or red wine notes, which allowed the true beef flavor to shine through. The beef brisket itself deserves a special mention - it was incredibly soft, almost melting in our mouths. The portion size was quite generous, with a hearty serving of vegetables rounding out the dish. The only area that didn't quite hit the mark for us was the hand pulled noodles. They bore a resemblance to spaghetti, which wasn't entirely to our liking. However, this is purely a matter of personal preference, and despite this, the noodles still tasted fantastic. In conclusion, our experience at this restaurant was largely positive. If you're a fan of beef noodle soup, this place should be high on your list. The richness of the beef flavor and the quality of ingredients used here are sure to impress.

Came at 11 on a Friday for an early lunch. We waited in the parking lot for a bit before it opened and there was already a line forming before the store opened. You can choose different types of noodles for your dish to come us, the hand pulled noodles, knife cut noodle or regular noodle. Noodles were a perfect chewy and the sauce on the Dan Dan noodles had just the perfect amount of spice. Come early to make sure you can grab some tables although there were some tables outside too.

In. Love. This place is super small and busy. So order to go or be prepared to wait for a seat. But definitely worth it! I love Asian food and this is one of my favorite places. They make their noodles in house and can even them make it from the glass. Orders the Shang Beef Noodles with Knife cut, Dan Dan noodles, dumplings and spicy wontons. The best spicy wontons I have had, lots of flavor and not too much sauce. The Shang Beef soup has tender beef and broth had a lot of flavor as well! Added in vinegar and hot oil to it. I have a weakness for Dan Dan Noodles and these were just as good as anywhere else. It’s a small business to make sure to tip and be in and out. Will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu.

Wow. This place is so good and so fast!! I’m a vegetarian and had the tomato and egg noodle. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The noodles were delicious- a perfect bite of chewy but tender. This sauce is SO rich and flavorful and deep! Paired with the chili oil- it’s truly amazing.

Oh my goodness what an epic spot! Wait was worth it and apparently there is always a wait. Clean, super delicious and great service! Loved the hand cut noodles we got the Dan Dan (would probably get it less spicy next time but so flavorful) and the spicy dumpling they definitely had a nice kick. The wontons were so fresh and yummy but we loved the dumplings more. Veggie chow mein was delicious and not spicy at all. We at the bar and loved watching them make the noodles. Small hole in the wall in a strip mall, limited seating but couldn’t believe how delicious it was. Will definitely be back and with what we ordered we had nice take out for later.

We ordered the spicy wontons, Shang beef noodle soup, and Dan Dan noodles. Absolutely delicious and noodles were big portions that after I was full I took the rest home and it was a whole meal’s worth. Prices are very good (<$13/noodle dish) and it’s cool seeing the noodle maker slapping the hand pulled noodles on the table and actually knife cutting the noodles just like they do in China. I wish I was a local so I could come here all the time. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Vegas

It's so good and very busy. Make sure you join the wait list on Yelp. It's small on the inside, so there's not much seating. You pick what type of noodles you want. The handmade noodles are made in front of you. The broth is really good. You won't be disappointed

  • 4/5 Mai L. 1 year ago on Google
Very busy, small place. Over an hour wait but totally worth it. Unfortunately, there's not a vegetarian option for noodle soups. Even the seafood option was a meat broth. My friends enjoyed the beef noodles and pork dumplings. I had the chow mien hand pulled noodles and sesame cucumber salad in peanut sauce both were delightful. Pro tip, they use Yelp waitlist however you still need to check in with the server upon arrival.

So I only had one dish since I was solo and took it to go. I tried the Dan Dan Noodles (hand pulled). The noodles were very good. The Dan Dan mixture was flavorful, but way too spicy for my liking. A tad less spicy would have been better. I’ll come back and try other dishes and update my review. The place is not very big. There’s not a lot of seating. So plan accordingly.

First time here and it was amazing. The waitress staff actually recommended local favorites. All dishes are fresh and delicious here. Price is right and amount of food is plentiful. This place gets crazy busy so you might have to wait.

Some of the best Chinese food restaurant that I had in Vegas, they specialize in fresh noodles. You can see the way it’s made, behind the open kitchen concept that they have. We ordered the famous beef noodle soup and it was very flavorful and delicious. Also the chili oil wontons, and pan-fried dumplings, OMG! Awesome. Every meal was exceptionally great and worth another trip. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

We came here from catching a Tik Toc about this place. After doing Mega Mart we came. It was a wait they are very busy. Every patron we saw leaving had take home and was rubbing their bellies they were so full. My son LOVES ramens, Korean BBQ etc. He said this was the best he has ever had to date. The wait staff were incredibly friendly. Explained anything to us and were very fast. The noodle bowls were delicous, fragrant, meat was tender. I wish my city had something like this. This spot was worth the UBER drive as it is off the main strip. Worth it!

We had to wait quite a while (on a weekday), but was worth it. Shang Beef Noodle was fantastic, well-priced, and well-portioned. We got our food super quick, and the staff checked up on us constantly. Highly recommend.

Make sure be there when they open at 11am. Or else the waiting time is crazy. Many people line up for it since it is very good. I would say this is the best restaurant for noodle and dumplings! Their beef noodle soup is amazingly delicious. The beef is tender and juice, soft and very tasty. All of the noodle are good taste, depends on what kind of texture, knife cut is very chewy which I love it. Even though their wait time is long, but it is so worth it. They serve their food quick, hot and fresh. Will for sure visit every time we stop by VEGAS!
