Love this place! Simple, inexpensive, delicious! Monta is my favorite ramen place. There’s a few places in Vegas that make it hard to not stop at instead of trying something new, and this is one of them. Their tonkotsu ramen broth is so rich, almost creamy, and fills your mouth with savory umami flavor. We’ve tried all of the different broths for ramen here and they’re all good, but the tonkotsu is best! The fresh noodles are perfect for slurping and have a nice soft chew to them. The pork belly is flavorful, fall apart tender, with a melt in your mouth fatty deliciousness. If you like spice, get a side of chili paste to add some good heat to your ramen. I also love the kimchi fried rice here. I think it’s also the best I’ve had. The house made gyoza are also very good. Some of my favorite items are: Tonkotsu Ramen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kimchi Fried Rice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ House made gyoza ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My guide on how I use the 5 star system: ⭐️ = Not good ⭐️⭐️ = Not terrible, but would not get again ⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Solid, but I’d try something else before this again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Really liked it! You should try this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Loved it! Must try I’ll make adjustments to my ratings after subsequent visits. If you see a .3 or .7 it means: .3 = Wasn’t as good the 2nd or last time I tried it .7 = This was better the 2nd or last time I tried it.

This may be the best ramen that I have had in Las Vegas. We started our meal off with pork belly bowls. The small size is more than enough for an appetizer. It has a generous portion of super fatty pork on top of a bed of rice, topped with scallions and pickled radish sticks. It’s fantastic. You’ll love the flavor combination. Almost just as fast as we ordered our food, our ramen came out. I got the spicy tonkatsu pork ramen with an added soft boiled egg. GET THE EGG. It is cooked perfectly to a soft boiled texture and is absolutely fantastic with an umami bomb for the ramen.

Tried both spicy ramen and another one with the black garlic oil. Excellent broth for the ramen. It’s a small restaurant so you might want to go early to avoid long waiting period.

Good prices and great food. Ramen is full of flavor and comes fast. Customer service is fantastic. Expect to pay about 11 to 12 dollars for a bowl ramen. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, smiles all around.

Otherwise it would have been a 5/5, but the service was lacking at this restaurant. 1. We were asked to briefly wait although there was another two top table available. When we sat down, 2. the table was still wet because it was wiped right before we sat down. 3. When asked for lemon/lime with a glass of water, we were told that they don’t have any. 4. Then the check was brought out half way through our meal. *Most of these can be common issues when a business is busy/slammed, but at 8:30PM on Sunday there were only 3 active tables + 1 table that already paid, with at least three servers. All in all, it’s another restaurant with good food with great price point that lacks service. I want to come back, but probably only for take outs or delivery only.

I loved this place. Everything was spot on and came quickly. I loved the spicy ramen but my partner thought it was lacking depth. (I thought it could have been spicier but otherwise I really liked it) the cold noodle bowl was good. I added things to mine. The yuzu sauce was good but very tarte. I’d like to try the sesame sauce next time! Place is small so hopefully you get a seat. You have to try this place!

I wish I could give this place 6 or 7 stars out of 5. Ramen was amazing. All of my friends agree THIS is one of the local favorites for incredible, authentic ramen. FOOD: I ordered the original tonkatsu ramen and I ate every bite and would’ve probably cleaned my friends bow if he hadn’t eaten his just as fast as I had. WAIT & RESERVATIONS: Very small seating arrangement however inside. I think there was only 4-6 tables other than bar top seating. Expect to wait a minimum of 30-40 minutes and I’d absolutely prepare to make reservations ahead of time. PARKING: plan to wait. This is a busy parking lot. Spaces are a commodity during dinner rush. EXTRA: Pack a jacket if your going to wait for a table during the winter. It’s chilly and windy and there’s not enough room to wait inside for a table, so unless you want to sit in your car, you’re going to be standing outside the restaurant.

Definitely worth going and worth the wait! If you like the more creamy based I would highly recommend the Tonkotsu Ramen the pork bone definitely comes out in the broth. I prefer the more brothy taste so I opted for the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. Make sure to go on yelp and get on the waitlist because this place is small, if you have a large party (more than 4) it’s best to go right when they open for a guaranteed table.

Good but not the best we’ve had. Cheaper then other places. There is a Yelp waitlist,we didn’t know until we got there but they move the parties through fast so it isn’t a long wait. I asked to taste the sesame sauce for the cold noodle because I was curious what it tasted like but they said it is an extra charge so I didn’t. It is small and tight for indoor seating so if you are nervous about covid, I wouldn’t dine in.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here! I loved the unique asthetic of the black garlic ramen. It was delicious and had wonderful flavour and the noodles were chewy! We sat at the counter. The interior was fine, I found it quite hot inside as it was an open kitchen with the Vegas heat. The service was great as well!

This is my go to Ramen spot. Always good. It's a small spot so you may have to wait. But it's worth it.

So far the best ramen I've had in my life, excellent fast service. Not busy Monday night. Coming back tomorrow and everytime i visit Vegas. Better than the ramen in the Famous Foods Street Eats.

We are so happy to have stopped at this Noodle shop..... I can't believe it was opened so late! Thank you! The noodles were honestly the best I've had in the US. Definitely try it... One thing that need to be said; they don't have a 100% chicken or vegetarian option. I would urge the owner to address this; many people don't eat pork and 100% chicken or vegetarian options

Delicious. The tonkotsu was good but felt not as rich. The miso was exceptional, Saw everybody's ordering fried rice so we decided to give it a try and boy we were impressed!

We followed a Google recommendation and drove there spontaneously, which is also easy to get to by bus. The food was perfect, the team super friendly and attentive. Recommendation!

Amazing ramen and Gyoza!! This is the best and cheapest ramen I’ve ever had in the US. Very fast and attentive service as well! Highly recommend if you’re in Vegas and craving ramen 🍜😋

Monta! Still my favorite ramen shop in the entire USA. Yes, not just in Vegas. The whole country! Noodles are super authentic thin Tonkotsu ramen noodle. Order it “Barikata” so that it’ll be cooked firm which is the way most people in Japan prefer Tonkotsu ramen noodles! Broth is also on point. A truly Japanese quality ramen bowl. On a plus note it is not overpriced! How great is that! Good service as well. 12 out of 10!

The best noodle in Vegas! It is an small place (I think is time to open a bigger place) but the food is delicious!!!

The ramen was no the best I have tasted. There are not restrooms and the place is very small. However prices and quantity are good.

I waited 3 years to come back to LV and get the pork belly bowl. It's the best!! I wish they expand to LA.

Love that there are different noodle options. I'm a simp for slightly thicker and aldente noodles, so the noodle texture was on point for me. The broth was also good, though I personally prefer sliiiightly saltier, but objectively, solid broth (my friend definitely said this was one of the better ones he's had, with great balance between flavor and salt). Also objectively good is the price. Idk the market price for ramen here but 10 bucks for a fulfilling bowl is more than I can ask for. Now, the pork bowl. Size is solid, again, for a good price. Will get you full. However I'm confused. I'm used to restaurants serving gyudon, or beef bowl, but that wasn't even an option on the menu. This is fine, but the pork I have to say was mediocre. There was sauce on it, but the pork itself was on the dry side. Flavor was definitely also lacking. Needs to be a tad more heavy handed on the mirin/sugar and soy sauce? Or maybe the type of soy sauce was off? Idk. One last complaint was the menma in the ramen. The bamboo shoots had no flavor, and a few were a bit chewy and too fibrous for my liking. I've never made menma myself so I'm no expert but I think they're normally pickled and softer. Overall a good place to go though! ありがとう!

Great place for Ramen. They have the BEST gyoza (pot stickers). We visited on a Thursday night; the wait was about 20 min for a table of 6. The staff is attentive. Food was awesome. There is a bar area that will reduce your wait time. Very traditional Japanese Ramen. I personally like the blend of tonkotsu and shoyu. It was a perfect blend.

  • 3/5 Gloria L. 1 year ago on Google
I had the tonkotsu and my partner had the shoyu and we both thought the ramen was “ok”. The tonkotsu flavour is very mild and does not taste like the broth has been brewed for a long time nor with enough ingredients (although if you prefer a milder flavour, this may be for u). Personally I feel the flavours are a bit watered down. The meat is tender and soft, but I think charring the it a bit would bring out a richer flavour. The shoyu broth tasted like the tzuyu broth from soba noodles (like a commercially available soup broth) and didnt taste like it was made in house which we found a bit disappointing. The noodles could be a bit chewier. Service was good, price was reasonable.

Get the yelp app and reserve a table to shorten your wait while coming here! Or call! This is a classic style ramen place. Not too many things to order off the menu but what they do offer is good. They do have a black garlic ramen which is the only thing that would set them apart! Other than that, classic style ramen house. We reserved a table on the yelp app and had to wait 10 mins upon arrival (just be sure to let the staff know you’re here). Packed restaurant and a long waitlist…so happy we got in quickly because it was cold outside! We ordered almost everything they had on the menu as soon as we were seated. Shortly after the food was at the table! The broth to the ramen was rich, creamy and had a great depth of flavor! We also ordered the black garlic ramen, which wasn’t pictured, but that was surprisingly tasty! That’s because the broth is cooked for over 15 hours! Toppings are an additional charge but the ramen is good on its own. Get what you like in your bowl! Makes it specially yours. The sides for me also delicious. The standout was the chashu bowl. The pork belly had this char on it which made it have that wow factor! Excellent choice! Gyoza was also standard nothing too special but good nonetheless. Fast service, comfortable atmosphere, great ramen, great family establishment!

If I am in the mood for ramen this is my favorite place to go to. I stumbled upon this place a while back based on reviews from Yelp. The restaurant is busy so you should check in on Yelp and put yourself on the wait-list. Other than that, I always make a point to come back.

SHEEES! I tried Monta Ramen for the first time a few years back and I had not came back. Not sure why? I tried it again just yesterday and holy macrol. The broth is FIRE, the service is FAST, and the price to bowl ratio is so perfect. I just wish they had edamame LOL but that won't stop me from coming back. It is definitely one of the best ramen gems in town. Make sure to add yourself to the waitlist!

small and quaint ramen place. has a great reputation in chinatown. very good broth. excellent pork belly bowl and fried rice. best kimchi i’ve had in a while. gyoza is pan fried to perfection. a local favorite and a must have.

I had the shoyu ramen and it was as delicious as always. A very small and cozy restaurant. The staff is very nice and friendly. The wait times can get a little long if they are busy because the restaurant is so small. So it's best to check in on yelp if you don't like long wait times.

  • 4/5 David Robinson I. 3 years ago on Google
Very very tiny hole in the wall restaurant. Walk-ins only so if it's packed be prepared to wait awhile especially if you have a pack of 3 or more. Other than that food was good and it came out very fast. Portion sizes are way bigger than I expected and the prices are very reasonable.

A small but quaint place to get ramen from. I especially love their black garlic ramen with corn and spring onions added! Some days are busier than others but do expect to wait to be seated most times. Regardless, the wait is definitely worth it plus great service too
