I'm so happy to be able to eat yummy dim sum after becoming a vegan. Imo the custard tarts and buns tasted better than the regular ones. Everything we ordered was delicious, with a price tag similar to regular dim sum places - not being overpriced because of being vegan. The waitresses were super friendly and attentive. The owner came out to greet everyone and it looked like many there were the restaurant regulars. Very jealous of those who live nearby and if you are in Vegas don't miss this place.

This is a wonderful vegan restaurant at very reasonable prices. My wife and I ordered a few dim sum appetizers and two meals that only came to a total of $50. We also had plenty of leftovers for later. The crispy, spicy beef was delicious and the vegan fish (obviously tofu) tasted like fish. While the fried chicken appetizer didn't exactly taste like chicken, the breading was exactly like crispy fried chicken that my wife and I miss. We will definitely be back and look forward to experiencing their vast menu where I can eat anything on it.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant!! We went for the 1st time about 3 weeks ago and could not believe that we were eating Vegan food. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! Came back again for our granddaughter to have sushi because she is allergic to fish. She was so excited and really enjoyed it. We will definitely keep coming back and telling people about it.

Great ambience and amazing staff! This is a completely Vegan restaurant. They literally have 3 menus to decide from. We got Vegan Pork buns, Crunchy Sushi (highly recommend), Orange chicken (highly recommend), Spicy crispy beef and Strawberry cheesecake with green tea ice cream. Everything was very delicious, strawberry cheesecake was okayish. Overall 4.8/5! Highlight: we also got to meet and click a pic with Chef Kenny himself!

The BEST Vegan food in Las Vegas! AWESOME Vegan Sushi, Dim Sum and Chinese Foods Restaurant in Nevada. They have Two Restaurants in Las Vegas and one in Houston, Texas. We went to All three of the restaurants. Tasty salad with tofu sheets and seaweed, Mouth watering Vegan Beef, Wasabi Vegan Shrimps, a touch of sweetness of curry Vegan fish, Vegan Tuna Sushi, Rainbow Sushi and many more... Friendly and Great Chef, nice employees, and relaxing place to bring your friends and family. We come from California and we Love Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum Restaurant. We hope that Chef Kenny will open one more Vegan restaurants in Los Angeles.

This place was pretty good! Dim sum came out immediately so I don’t think it’s super fresh. It was very sticky and chewy, although the spinach one was pretty tasty. My partner liked the mushroom one but wouldn’t order again due to texture. Mongolian beef was super yummy. Very soft and sweet. The salt and pepper shrimp did not taste salty nor peppery at all. But did taste like amazing shrimp! Overall I love having a vegan place around. Just a bit pricey for just okay. I would go back and try the H. Pork and other dishes. They have a good menu, great sushi (spicy tuna and lemon kiwi) and good service

Back with another banger of a Vegan/Vegetarian option in Vegas. Absolutely loved Chef Kenny's place. Everything has full of flavor, seating was spacious, parking was simple, and the food is all exceptionally good. The only thing I wasn't very impressed with is the house soup, it was good but in comparison to everything else on the menu we tried I found that underwhelming. Prices are reasonable and best deals are during their lunch time specials, most of their popular entrees were like $3 off. Overall great place would accurately say 4.9/5 but definitely a must try if you're looking for a vegan dim sum eatery in Las Vegas.

Chef Kenny’s restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Don’t let it being a vegan restaurant discourage you; this is a perfect example of how good vegan food can be (you wouldn’t know it’s vegan if it was served to you outside the restaurant). The Dim Sum menu featured wonderful, fresh buns, try the jicama, and yummy dumplings. The best dish we had was the sweet and sour orange chicken, better than most chicken dishes anywhere. Chef Kenny’s restaurant now is one of our must visit places when we come to Vegas.

So grateful for Chef Kenny, his beautiful partner, and for his vision to be inclusive of Vegan’s dream! We tried several items from the menu and was not disappointed. (We ate most of it before we remembered to take pictures☺️) The decoration is so welcoming and bright just like everyone’s lovely spirit. Meeting Chef was also amazing. Food is excellent, place is clean, and friendly service from all the staff. Top of the list for sure.

First time eating here, everything we got was good. Not a huge fan of the large amount of faux meat in many of the dishes but flavors were good. The sushi rolls and the eggplant dish were the highlights for me and tasted amazing.

In a trip to Vegas my husband and I came here twice in the short time we were here. We were impressby the large menu and took on trying just about every dim sum item listed. Everything was phenomenal!! It was impressed by the flavor of everything! We especially loved the custard tart on the dim sum menu and the spicy crust beef on chef Kenny’s specialty. Would recommend 10/10 and I can’t wait to come back!

An absolute gem. Perfect place to get an office lunch and accommodate those who enjoy vegan food. Impeccable service and ultra accommodating considering we messed up our online order and wasn't able to change the location on the site. But we were able to get everything fixed quickly and they were able to get the to go order out quickly. Impressed with the service and even more impressed with the food. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommend. Everyone in our office was beaming after getting their meals and will definitely be getting food there again.

If you're a vegan, you're going to LOVE this place! I'm a carnivore but was invited by my vegan friends to come and try it out. They ordered "fried chicken". Looked like fried chicken AND tasted like fried chicken. They also ordered a dish that looked like Mongolian beef. That was good too. I didn't have the mushroom dumplings but I heard those were amazing. For dessert, the chocolate cheesecake. I didn't like this. It lacked taste and was grainy. I did nJOY the fried ice cream. The dough was good too. You can tell Chef Kenny takes pride in everything he does. He was our host and made our place setting. Came to check on us periodically. Truly a hands on owner. Will definitely be back!

Weeknight dinner for 6. Service was friendly and timely. We liked mostly everything except for the shrimp balls. The texture was not to our liking. I would skip those if you don't like wet squishy things that feel like eye balls. The food is all vegan, no fish products used at all. The menu is large and tons of options from dim sum to sushi. Again all vegan. This is a great spot for large parties. Plenty of parking in front and along the dirt patch, it's OK to park there. It's easy to miss when you drive by so drive up slowly once you're 50 yards away. My favorite part was that the server offered and brought our friend a birthday treat and candle and gave her a res bracket with The year of the Bunny charm on it. She loved it.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. I was really excited by their dim-sum offerings since it is very difficult to get vegetarian/ vegan dim sum. We ordered the cream cheese wontons and the fried vegetable rolls for starters, vegan bbq pork dim sum and the chive cakes , vegan ramen and a sushi roll. We also ordered the fruit tea. The fruit tea was very refreshing with a good balance of sweet and sour. The cream cheese wontons were crispy on the outside with the oozing warm cream cheese inside. The sticky sweet and sour sauce accompaniment complimented the dish very well. The ramen and sushi were decent. I really liked the dim sum and the chive cakes. The vegan bbq pork one has a slightly sweet filling inside a soft warm bun. The chive cakes had a nice crust with a very tasty filling of chives. Each table has a small jar of a chili oil and a chili sauce which were really great with all the dishes . We almost finished them 😬. The service was really good and prompt. I really recommend visiting this place and trying their food.

The best vegan restaurant in Las Vegas. Chef Kenny is the master on the vegan food... beef, chicken, shrimp but are not meat but looks and feels like it. The dishes are so good and the flavor is amazing. The atmosphere is great and the waitress are fast. From dim sum to different dishes all are fantastic and well perfectly cooked. They sells regular sodas too. By the way dont miss the orange hot tea... OMG!!! My option was Mix Kung Pao with white rice.. try it!

Omg the food here is SO Delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant even to people who are not looking specifically for vegan food. We ordered a few of the dim sum plates and everything was lovely, highly recommend the vegan BBQ pork bun, vegan shrimp dumplings, mushroom dumplings, roti with curry and the egg tart. We even got to meet Chef Kenny himself who was very friendly and was helping to seat guests. We will definitely be coming back with more friends :)

My wife and I stumbled upon this place while heading to another restaurant and called an audible to try it out. We saw that it was the grand opening of his new location and all I can say is that we were blown away. We had a couple sushi rolls, mushroom nigiri, a steak roll, and sweet & sour shrimp. Everything is 100% vegan but you wouldn't know it. We loved our entire meal, and meeting Chef Kenny made it that much more special. I would highly recommend the steak roll, as it is unlike anything I've ever had. The chef recommended it to us and it definitely seemed like his signature piece. We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I came all the way from Utah just to eat here for every meal. There's nothing here that isn't good. We love the curry and our kids love the orange chicken. The hot and sour soup was spicy for our white people tastes.

Highly recommend the spicy crispy Hunan park and the spicy tuna roll. Amazing vegan comfort food. Love that I could enjoy my favorite Asian dishes, with vegan meats, surf to turf. Great service too. We'll be back!

Rarely, if ever, do I feel happy at a restaurant. I felt happy at Chef Kenny’s Vegan Dim Sum. The food was delightful—the Thai tea, turnip cake and custard tarts were notable favorites. The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was comforting and fun. I appreciated the eclectic playlist that included acoustic Hawaiian ukulele songs and yodeling folk ballads. We were graced with THE Chef Kenny’s presence as he mingled with diners. Chef Kenny’s Vegan Dim Sum is certified tasty by my picky Cantonese dad. 10/5 stars

LOCE LOVE LOVE!!!! Incredibly flavourful, not greasy, exceptional dim sum and Asian food. I love Chef Kenny's first restaurant, but this is even better. I didn't think it was possible!!! Chef Kenny proves how much better vegan food is!!!!

The food was delicious. I grew up eating dim sum in Chinatown in San Francisco, before I was vegetarian. The flavors at Chef Kenny's were exactly what I remember. Also the food came very quickly! The decor is beautiful. The service is so friendly and helpful. Chef Kenny was there in the restaurant, greeting people and checking on everyone. Very personal experience.

Great tasting food at great prices. Food not too heavy. Get the lunch bento for a great experience. Chef Kenny designed the decor and created the surprisingly realistic tree in the middle of the dining room. Thanks for making dim sum available to all!

Beyond meat varieties of your favorite Chinese, Japanese and Asian Dishes. Dim Sum plate about $0.75 to $1.00 higher. The mushroom dumplings and bean curd wrapped mushroom tasty. The menu offers vegetarian sushi varieties though we did not sample. Also a wide range of spicy meatless Entrees if Chinese Cuisine. Service is very prompt and faster than many regular restaurants. Lunch specials which we sampled include spicy crispy eggplant. ( specify hotness level when you place order.) Beef Broccoli was a surprise. The "beef" look a like I thought was better than some real beef versions found in local restaurants. The Dining Room has Subdued lighting for saturated wall colors. Ready to try again sometime soon.

It was wonderful getting away from the noise of the Las Vegas strip for the amazing food at this dim sum restaurant that is all vegan. The baked BBQ pork buns and custard filled steamed buns are outstanding, and I highly recommend trying them. Not to mention it is very reasonably priced compared to the restaurants near the casinos. An employee serving food at a conference recommended the place, and the Uber/Lyft driver that picked us up after said that a lot of people like the food there — and it is easy to see why. Would 100% go again next time I go to Las Vegas.

  • 4/5 Katherine H. 8 months ago on Google
Impressive. EVERYTHING is vegan. Some we loved, some not so much, but that's the nature of dim sum. Our very favorite thing was the custard tart. It was amazing.

We decided to try this place after getting a recommendation from a friend. For some background: both foodies, 1 life long vegetarian, the other carnivore that gree up in China. We ordered scallops, mushroom roll, dragon roll, noodles and salt n pepper tofu. The scallops were decent but tons of sauce. Roll was average, noodles ok. He liked the tofu and it wasn’t for me. The restaurant is big and nicely decorated, not too busy. The waitress took a long time to refill water. The food was very average- below average and a big disappointment in my opinion. It wasn’t worth $70 for the quality.. too sauce heavy and oily

As meat eater i absolutely love this place. I stumbled upon it, as my gf and i were craving Chinese food. She's a vegetarian, so this spot was perfect. I must say, this is one of my favorite Chinese foods spots till this day. A must try while in vegas. They have 2 locations. This is the dumpling location and i believe the other one is a sushi bar. Chef kenny original owner of Veggie House, branched off with these new restaurants. Awesome place. Definitely recommend to all

Came here at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't busy. 30 minutes later, the restaurant filled up and there were also a lot of take out orders. Cute decor and easy parking. I am not a Vegan but took my out of state friend who is, and we were both equally impressed. We ordered traditional dim sum: the shu mai, steamed 'pork' buns and turnip cakes were our favorites. We also got the spicy 'tuna' sushi roll, orange chicken and 'cream cheese's wontons. I was blown away at how good the food was and how some of it was indistinguishable from non-vegan Chinese food. Prices were reasonable and you can tell a lot of effort went into the recipes so worth it in my opinion. I wish they had coconut juice on their menu and a few more drink options. Our server was attentive and kind so we were impressed by the service. I would give this spot a solid 4.3/5. Definitely come here if you are vegan, my friend said the 'spicy tuna' was the best vegan sushi she's ever had and she's been vegan for 18 years. If you are not vegan, still check this spot out for a unique, affordable and delicious meal.

Say what? Vegan dim sum? That’s like saying vegan steak/lechon. Kenny Chen’s is surprisingly good for being vegan.

YUMMYYYYY. So good we had to order some to go! I’m going to be dreaming about this place when I get back home to New England. The food took me back to my childhood family dimsum nights before I went vegan. 10/10. Loved the service as well very friendly & welcoming. I will definitely be back for the desserts I forgot to order!

This was my first time trying Chef Kenny’s Dim Sum. I was really looking forward to it because the reviews are so high and everyone talks about it. I really enjoyed the cute atmosphere. The food was really flavorful but nothing I haven’t had before at other vegan restaurants. It took around 5 minutes to be seated and service was extremely slow when the restaurant wasn’t that busy. I would definitely be back but no rush!

  • 5/5 Leah S. 11 months ago on Google
This was the Best Vegan Sushi I’ve ever had! So annoying it’s not on the east coast! We ordered the California Roll, The Spicy Tuna Roll w/ added Crunch & the Vegan Crispy Beef… PHENOMENAL!!!! So much flavor all around!!! Beef not picture but it was AMAZING!! Our Waitress that night seemed like she was the only one so felt forgotten about for a bit. But she was the absolute best! So sweet! We will be back anytime we are back in Vegas!

If you are looking for a restaurant that is Vegan in the Las Vegas area, Chef Kenny’s Dim Sum will NOT disappoint!! Plenty of parking makes it easy to get in and get out! They offer eat in or take out. We opted for take out this time, but would love to eat in next time as the atmosphere was really nice inside! The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. We didn’t have a long wait at all from the time we went in and ordered, til the time we got our food and left. Our server took the time to go over the menu with me and help me decide- the menu is very large and everything is 100% vegan! We ordered the Fried wontons, Dragon Roll, Crunchy Roll, Mushroom and Chicken and the Spicy Pad Thai. Everything tasted amazing. I’m glad I verified it was all vegan, because eating it, you would never know! Taste, texture and looks were all spot on! Highly recommend Chef Kenny’s!

My husband and I went there this afternoon and loved it. The dim sum and other dishes we had were great, and the service was great as well. Kenny was there and took some to talk with us, and as always is pleasant and generous with his time. We will continue going back again and again.

  • 5/5 Andrew H. 1 year ago on Google
I mean, it’s vegan dim sum. There’s very little to compare it to. They do such a fantastic job though, that we had to ask and re-ask the severs if this was actually vegan. And it is vegan. The imitation rib meat easily competes with Panda Express’ Beijing beef. The breaded oyster mushrooms are a 10/10, I think they use seasoning that is more common in breaded zucchini but it works. Also got the spicy tuna roll by suggestion of one of the servers - pretty darn good. And don’t forget the turnip cake!

  • 5/5 Elite 2 years ago on Google
Amazing! This is the first time I have every posted anything or left a review but I had to for this place! I took my family here 3 days after trying it the first time myself. Had to have more! We were celebrating a very special occasion and I wanted the food to be as special as the day. To say it was the best "vegan" food I have tried would be an under sell. It is the best food I have tried in Las Vegas period! People hear the "V" word and get concerned they will be missing out on things like taste and texture. Chef Kenny has figured out how to make everything taste and feel just like it would at any non vegan restaurant, only better! Chef Kenny and his staff are clearly some of the most talented and genuine people I have met and they're passion go right into every meal they make. Congratulations Chef Kenny and your awesome staff on the amazing experience you have created here! I highly recommend it! I would post a picture of our incredible food but non survived!
