My wife and I drove an hour and a half to come back here, because our first time was amazing. Not true this time. I ordered the soup of the day. It was lobster bisque. It was $9. It came out in a bowl that looked decent, but it was so shallow that it wasn't even a half a coffee cup of soup. I ordered the fried cod basket. My wife ordered the oyster and shrimp basket, market price. My cod was delicious. The oyster and shrimp basket , The shrimp were so small and not butterfly.The oysters were delicious but there were three of them.$18 for that basket. Check total $54. The kitchen staff were so loud and obnoxious. They were making jokes laughing , people falling down. Things were getting knocked over. The cooks and the waitresses were yelling all laughing and making ton of noise where the whole restaurant could hear. We could see the chef from our table. He was wearing gloves. He was also scrolling through his cell phone with the gloves on while he wasn't cooking . The whole atmosphere was so unprofessional. That's why there were only a few people eatWe thought we found a great place, but I doubt we'll be back.

Stopped in for lunch. The food was great and so was Suzy, our server. We had calamari, crab balls, a fried shrimp basket, a lightly blacked Mahi-mahi basket, and a Great Smokey Mountain burger. Everything was delicious. They also had a good selection of local beer.

YUM...! Great food, and great service. I have been here several times and have enjoyed each visit. My son likes the Pisgah Burger which is a large burger with a serving of mac-n-cheese piled on top of it. They have many different options here. I have only been here for lunch. If you are looking for an amazing burger, I would recommend you check this place out. The other food is also wonderful. Based on my positive experiences, I highly recommend.

The food is great! Have been 2 times and both visits have had great seafood! Crab balls are the best!

First time eating at Surf n Brew in Flether, NC. The low country boil was perfect! Kristen took care of me, including the brownie and ice cream! I definitely recommend eating here if/when you're in the area.

We were on vacation and wanted to find a local restaurant with seafood but also hamburgers or chicken tenders for our son. This place was AMAZING!! Our server was fantastic, and the rest of the staff was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as well as clean. Again, the food was a MUST try!! My husband can't stop talking about the homemade, clam chowder soup with grilled salmon (fresh catch of the day), and boom, boom grilled shrimp. And as for me, I want more crab legs, okra, and parmesan calamari!😁

I’m hesitant to give such a great review to one of our local best kept secrets. I don’t want outsiders to find out just how much we love this place. The food is always wonderful and the waiters treat us like family. (Even when they are busy) The bartenders are very knowledgeable about the many beers they serve on tap here. The service is never slow. We hope word doesn’t get out how much we locals love this place and we can keep it all to ourselves.
