Fantastic setting for a meal. Very good food. Atmosphere is relaxed but the design and fitting give it a more upmarket feel. There probably aren't many similar places in the vicinity so if in the region and looking for a great meal with an extraordinary backdrop then a definite must.

Dined here two nights and giving the Woolshed a five but, and there’s a but! Had the the lamb share plater first night, top notch feed! Night two selected lamb shank off the specials board, only to be informed they had just run out! To make matters worse the waiter explained, in great detail, how the gentleman at the table behind us went to the bar to order the last two shanks as he got wind they were running out….strategic dining at its best! Well played and btw the waiters still digging! I couldn’t come at $52 for lamb chops so choose a sirloin…..rookie mistake…..note to self don’t order beef on a sheep station. The sirloin blunt my steak knife, oh well lesson learned. Overall great experience, sensational aroma’s and flavours.

Great place to dine. Local produce on food & drink menus. Staff were friendly, & well informed. Weather was warm and dined inside up stairs however the fans were not working, & lighting was warming. Food choices were varied using local produce & delicious with generous servings. Well worth a visit.

Top class eating in the bush with great range of beers and wines and Flinders Gin. Excellent service from the friendly staff.

The food was amazing. If you get the chance, I'd recommend booking one of their lamb tasting nights. 4 courses with paired wines. The station managers had dinner with you and had some wonderful stories to share. Overall this was a fantastic experience!

Oustanding food, service atmosphere. Try the lamb plattern. The meat, sauces and chutney are delicious. Not the kind of restaurant you would expect at such a remote place. Interior design perfect and first class view to Wilpena Pound.
