It's the only place to go for steak and cheese in the Flint area. It's really the best cheesesteak in the State of Michigan!

Got the #1 combo meal. 6" philly and cheese w a drink and chips. 5 ⭐. Would recommend! 😀

Take a look under and behind the grill. Look under the soda machine, how many mouse droppings are behind that safe under the cash register? Don't get me started on the filth and clutter in the utility closet. It's a fire waiting to happen. Do you guys clean your refrigerator fans lately? I bet they awfully dusty. Dj white lightning out 🤷‍♂️

Friendly and polite.. Always love the steak subs and bread was extra soft. Dining area was clean, just wish they had a bathroom.

My sandwich was not prepared as ordered. Toppings not added as requested instead other toppings not ordered were added. I don't see how this mistake should've been made when customer is able to view it while being prepared. It is also written down and heard. I ordered my sandwich to my liking/taste not someone else's.

Walked in there to order. Stood for a good 10 minutes before someone served me. Brought it home, bit into the middle of the sub and pulled a long hair with my bite. Not happy and very disgusted. All they could do was offer a refund if I brought the sub in or remake it. Disgusting.

Big John's always delicious and hearty. They have the best steak and onion in town!

Ordered Philly chicken combo. Well seasoned, the order was correct, fast service. Recommendations would be while preparing sub is to keep meat moist before serving. This was something I hadn't noticed until I left. I would return for future visits.

Flint Michigan's version of a Philly cheesesteak. Best steak and cheese sandwich around. Fast, friendly, and let me be frank, grilled fresh, made to order, and that sauce is the best. When It's basically been the best for decades around Flint and has nowhere near the advertisements as places like Subway, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Mancino's, or any other overpriced steak&cheese spot then they gotta be doing something right. It's amazing, and now I'm on my way for 1 myself

It was a very dry and unpleasant sandwich. Got a 8 inch steak sub with mushrooms. The meat only filled up to 6inches and the bread taste like it was old(it crumbled). Asked for mayo and it was only a smear. More mushrooms than meat. I'm from Flint, but live in South Carolina and I couldn't wait to get a sub. Very disappointed. My companion's sandwich was disappointing as well. He had lettuce tomato and peppers on his and they put more toppings, but less meat. The service was pleasant and quick. Now I see why.

This is one of my favorite Flint restaurants. I love the cheese steak sandwiches, they're worth the price as they are delicious. I suggest getting the cheese cooked in with the meat and veggies, it's dope.

I love to eat at Big John. It is one of my favorite places, but I will not be going back to the Corunna Road location. The staff is unfriendly. The way they prepared the food made it dry and taste salty. And they did not get the order correct. Trust me, choose another location to eat.

My family places orders for Big Johns when I’m in Flint, Mi.. When all of my family visit Flint we all HAVE to stop here!! It’s a must. The staff is awesome, accommodating and fast!! I send everyone I know going towards Flint to Big Johns

Best Big John's in Flint. Employees are always really cool and down. Hard-working get the orders right I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to that place five stars all the way.

Thursday, 8/4/22, 124pET is when I called. Why would you put cheese on bread for a travel pack? Had to throw bread away after 1k miles, 19 hour drive. Called to suggest they actually break down whole sandwich. White lady mgr was ignorant and rude. She fit the description of the already bad rep of Flintstones. I'm going to have my father dispute the charge. All I wanted to do was suggest a better method, but she was too ignorant..." we didn't put meat on bread, it's broken down....we don't know how long you have to travel.....what is a travel pack?" Days prior a worker said "just come in and ask for travel pack, we'll know because many people ask. My kid in Florida asks for one...." I was born and raised here. I'm happy my parents raised me to be greater than my environment.

I asked the person for steak and cheese extra meat and cheese. Had a coupon for two dollars off any 8 inch sub asked him was I able to use the coupon.? Order comes up chicken. Oh that coupon was just for chicken. Pay attention MF. I took the and left.

A friend and I had the steak&onion classic Big John sandwich and still a great pick for a lunch or dinner. This place had fresh bread and great tasting ingredients. The employees were courteous helpful and the place was clean we both left with a second sandwich for later.
