Paul was such a wealth of knowledge and full of life! We loved our private tour in Florence. It was less like a lecture and more like a conversation. Paul has a fantastic way of keeping everyone involved in the dialog. I wish we had had twice the time to dive even deeper. What a special experience. Highly recommend.

On a scale of 1-10, Paul was a 12! We could not have been more impressed with his in-depth knowledge of Florence's rich history, his mastery of the renaissance art (both in paintings and sculptures), and his very engaging technique helping us to better engage and understand what we were seeing and experiencing. I highly recommend Paul to anyone traveling to Florence, or throughout Italy. Paul was as wonderful, creative, and enlightening as Florence itself!

My friend and I spent a few hours in September with Paul Costa of Tuscan Tour Guide. I only wish we had more time with him! Paul makes the people and history of Florence come alive. His energy and his question and answer approach make learning fun. Don’t think of this as any typical “tour” - you will learn so much; about the people, the art, the architecture...and you will make a new friend. Paul loves Florence and he loves Italy. For sure you will too after spending any time with Paul. Highly recommend this outstanding experience. If I get back to Italy, which I hope I do soon, I will definitely be calling Paul.

Paul is an amazing tour operator, and you should not hesitate to use him for a trip to Tuscany. He set up an amazing set of tours, vans, dinners, wine tastings and more for our group of 16. We exchanged a great deal of emails and even phone calls in the months leading up to our trip, and he was always incredibly responsive to our questions and thoughtful/honest about some of the options we were considering. Paul also personally guided our group around Florence, giving us a wonderful look at the art, food and history of that amazing city. We will certainly reach out to Paul for our next trip to one of our favorite areas in the world - Tuscany.

Florence and all her beauty brought to life. The best 7 hours I have ever spent in a city. Paul Costa is an off the charts tour guide. His love of Italy, his knowledge of art and his presentation of David will forever change how you view art. A day filled with wonder. Can not thank Paul enough for sharing Florence in a way only he can! Highly recommend, you are missing out if you do not share a day with Paul!

We had a group of 11 people and for most of us it was our first trip to Florence. We received a very favorable recommendation from a neighbor (Spencer Parkinson). In fact it almost seemed too good. But he was spot on. Paul is the best. I reached out to him and he responded extremely fast to ascertain what we were looking to see, spend and customize. He tour of Florence and the wonderful art was very enlightening. He had such a great way to focus in and expand our knowledge. The group enjoyed the banter with him. He was always very engaging and kept all of our interest. He also arranged some private car tours around Tuscany and to Cinque Terre for us. Booking with Paul was a great decision!!

Paul coordinated our trip to multiple cities in Italy. He set us up with local, knowledgable guides who were passionate about their city and their enthusiasm showed. Rosa in Rome, Sasha in Pompeii and Paulo in Florence all made the experience for our family (2 adult children) fun, interesting and memorable. Woudl definetly recommend.

I went on a tour with Paul 5 years ago with my mother and sister. It was so good that I decided to book the tour again when I came back to Florence with my finance. Paul did not disappoint! He makes the tour interesting, fun and interactive. He also slightly adapts the tour to his clients questions and interests. Originally we just booked the tour of Florence and the David and did not include the Uffizi, however, we knew touring the Uffizi on our own would not be the same. Paul was able to accommodate our change at the very last minute. Though prices are expensive, the tour is worth every penny! I highly recommend scheduling a tour with Paul to anyone traveling to Florence.

Paul is the best! He was our tour guide in Florence and we absolutely loved our time there with him. He brought the history of the city alive for us and gave us insight that we would have never been able to get on our own. We loved him so much that we referred him to our neighbors who are going in October and they're all set up to have Paul be their guide. They will not be disappointed!

Paul is one of 2 tour guides we would use again. We came away both times Paul was our tour guide (the second time it was just my wife, myself and our daughter) learning, and enjoying it while we were doing it, than on any other tour we've ever taken. His tours are truly interactive and make them more memorable as a result. Before our Florence trip last October, we purposely looked for him to schedule a tour - after having him as a guide a few years before - knowing only his first name and a little of his background. We were glad we found him. Highly recommend him.

Paul is second to none! From the moment I sent him an email, his care and attention to detail was remarkable. He responded to my inquiry within hours and then called me to discuss our needs so he could cater to our family, He helped me organize our entire trip from Venice to Florence to Rome, and provided guides in each of those locations. Paul was the most knowledgeable, engaging guide I have ever had! He shared so much knowledge and fully engaged our 7 year old son and 12 year old daughter, as much as he engaged my husband and I. I would recommend Paul to anyone interested in really getting to know the history, arts and magic of Florence. He is truly amazing!

Paul was amazing! We were traveling with teenagers whose attention span is sometimes limited. Paul kept them fully engaged for 3 hours, and they are still talking about how fun the tour was. His tour is a must do in Florence!

Paul is just a great tour guide. When I went back to Florence recently, I was delighted to be able to join one of his tours for a second occasion. He has great energy and is very friendly and engaging. Paul helped me to really understand Florence, both past and present.
