What an amazing HO model layout. I have visited many but this one is the best so far. Tons of rolling stock, locomotives, passenger trains. The central train station layout was truly the highlight of the entire layout. Amazing scenery and the panels that changed from day to night were a great touch to the entire experience. If you are into model railroading... this is the place for you!

This was one of the absolute best places I ever been in Florence. The history behind this masterpiece, told at the top floor by an incredible video, was so fascinating. The incredible details on the trains, the intricate system of railways and interchanges honestly blew my mind. There is so much more than the rails themselves though! Every part of the museum is a little story that gets enhanced by its blending with the entirety of the masterpiece. We arrived in the early morning and so the museum was empty, all for ourselves. The atmosphere was breathtaking. I cannot stress enough how good the museum was. I am not linked to them by any capacity but honestly I would like to!! This is one of those places where you wish to donate more to see even more parts built! The workshop at the top floor works towards this goal and to fix any problems literally in, quite literally, real time. This kind of organic optimisation is so satisfying.. I wish more companies operated like this. If you are around, stop by and you'll have a chance to be a part of this amazing world too.

WOW.... There are really no words. We were on a group tour from the United States and had a free day. Looked you up on Google and thought yeah we'll go there. We took the train right to Florence walked right out of the terminal and found your address and was welcomed by the amazing location and outside decor. We walked in purchased tickets then were BLOWN AWAY!! Be sure to take some time here for all the details and then make sure to go to the cinema and watch how the layout came to be. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!

We came here on a recommendation from a friend who had been and we loved it. A family of 5 not interested in trains, the oldest my mother at 80 and my youngest an 11 yr girl and we were all enthralled. We spent ages watching and pointing out new details to each other. My wife LOVED it, and took way too many photos of it!! The staff were fab, finding a chair for my mother, and answering any questions we had. There are videos upstairs about its construction and eventual transportation to the site as well.

Giuseppe Paternò Castello di San Giuliano really loved model trains. He was old money aristocracy even before he married Fiamma Ferragamo (Salvatore’s daughter), and he used his considerable resources to share this passion with the world. The HZERO museum – named for the H0 model scale – is his magnum opus. It features the wildest, most detailed model train diorama I’ve seen. No matter your age or language, you’ll love this place if you’re into this kind of thing. I could have spent hours here!

If you have kids this museum its a MOST. They will Love it. Its very nice and people are very nice too. Don’t pay attention to those negative comments about the place is too high for kids. Its true BUT there are place, like Little steps where they can Klimp and see the train. ALSO at the entrance you can ask for a kind of “chair” for your kids. Its beautiful, don’t Miss this magic place

Obviously very different to the other museums in Florence but this place is an absolute delight. My wife and I both went and had an absolutely excellent time. There were kids there who were loving it but equally both of us as adults were amazed. Would recommend absolutely

À must see if you like trains. The movie explaining how the construction went is worth a watch. We stayed 2 hours admiring the circuit and enjoying the trains routine! Teenagers ages: 17&15, and they were in awe.

we visited the very interesting and well-built HO scale "Hzero museum" exhibition railway in Florence, Italy. It features fully automated operation with a couple of staff to keep an eye just in case and keep people's fingers out (I guess). Incredibly high standard of construction. My iPhone photos don't do this layout justice but the other camera couldn't deal with the low-light conditions. Nice transitions between day and night. The short film upstairs explains the origins of the layout and museum and is well done and interesting. Overall, well worth a visit if you have any interest in trains.

This is not just for kids! It’s built by a team of passionate people who strive for excellence and love for trains. The miniatures are immaculate. Trains moving at different time, and ambience created for day and night of the landscape. Do not skip the cinema after the miniatures, as it’ll give you a deeper appreciation for all the hard work driven by determination to fruition. Spent about 1.5 hrs in there. Adult ticket was €12..

Firenze was a boring place with no noticable things to see. Until now! Its great. Only downside: its germany (mostly german trains) landscape and right hand driving), not italy

Not that big into trains, but this is a experience. I'd suggest doing the cinema first to learn how it all happened then go explore/stare at the amazing setup they have thier. Personally, I'd like to know more about Giuseppe Paternò Castello di San Giuliano I feel he had a fascinating life, I'd love to read about.
