Agostino Dessí has made over 40 thousand masks by hand to date. His shop is almost like a little museum for leather masks for theatre, carnivals and more. Each item is different and like a work of art. Absolutely amazing! He is super sweet and gave me postcards with his own masks and poems relating to each mask. Delightful encounter!

BEWARE!! We bought what seemed a nicely made local mask. We were tricked. They placed a sticker over the "made in China" tag. My daughter still loved it but I should have paid substantially less for a knock off. There are many cool masks to see so may be worth a visit, just don't buy anything.

These aren't masks, they're works of art, sculptures really.

Very beautiful masks made by the owner like truly gorgeous and the owner is very friendly. The only downside are the prices which are pretty high. Still I was happy to pay them.

Very interesting and talkative man! Explained what goes into making every mask, as well the movies and shows he's done work for. Very nice staff. Top quality masks, definitely worth every penny

Trully magical place. If I could give it more stars I definitely would. The place is just simply beautiful in everyday, honestly I started crying when I've entered it. Everything there look like a masterpiece and the owner is also a really nice person. Definitely a "must be" on a trip to Florence.
