I stumbled across this one Sunday morning, just back from 'the pig' it was lovely to see. The men then marched through the streets, to where I am not 100% a gellato was calling me, however to see them and to hear the drums was a delight

Historical football is a beautiful Florentine tradition that returns every year with great enthusiasm; I saw the costumes, weapons and armor in the venue, it was interesting because seen up close the costumes are very beautiful and the venue is also very beautiful.

Amazing experience. Events that should not be missed by anyone in Florence on June 24.

We had a wonderful time staying at Calcio Storico!! We were greeted by Marco’s parents who helped us check in. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, they were so kind and helpful and were able to communicate some suggestions about things to do around the city. It was the perfect location for us as it was an easy walk into the city but just far enough outside that you didn’t feel like you were right in the middle of a crazy tourist area. We loved having the breakfast tickets for the cafe across the way. Definitely a game changer. The room was clean and comfortable, and check out was easy as well. Thank you for everything, Marco and family!!
