The cheese and pear ravioli were delicious, truly. The tagliatelle pasta with rabbit and peacream as well. Some caveats. Bread was stale and dry, with no butter or oil to dip. Wine was served lukewarm and we didn’t get to taste it beforehand. Might be a one time thing in terms of service since they did seem understaffed on the floor. Kitchen-wise though the dishes were impeccable and the ambiance is really nice.

Absolute favorite restaurant in Firenze. Everything is perfect, from the intimate atmosphere, nice and discreet service, and of course the pasta! We tried several different ones and they were all amazing. I can't describe just how good the pear ravioli is. Definitely a must!

What a nice restaurant! Good vibe, lovely service and great food. It’s not cheap but it’s value for money. The interior with high ceilings and old ads for Italian brands create an intimate sphere. Lightning and acoustic is well taken care of. The list of wines is extensive. We chose a pecorino from the marche. All meals were tasteful, no exception. Definitely worth visiting!

This is a place like no other in Florence. First, the interior looks really nice and cozy. Then, the staff was really helpful, smiling and kind. Finally, the food is just insane! This was probably our best restaurant in Florence, and we couldn't recommend it more. It's a must try!

The food choices and quality were truly impressive. Some of the best food that I've had in Florence. The flavors were fantastic, and the dishes were unique and interesting. Service was impeccable and the ambience of this little restaurant was some of the best I've experienced as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone who would like a high quality meal at a fairly good price.

WOW what a wonderful experience we had here! First off, the kindest, most wonderful staff who made us feel welcome from the beginning. The ambiance is fantastic and it is a beautiful interior just minutes from the duomo. Last but not least, the food… the absolute best meal I have had in my life. HIGHLY recommend the pear ravioli, was the best pasta, the best food, I have had in my life, can’t recommend this place any more!

We were in town in April 2022 and looking for something for lunch within walking distance of Piazza del Duomo and Galleria dell'Accademia and found this gem. At first we were worried it might be too pricy or fancy because of the dim lighting, but once your eyes get adjusted it is a comfortable space. We had four teenagers with us who were not adventurous eaters but open to trying local specialties and we were not disappointed. The only tiny issue one of them had was having to send back a steak that was ordered medium and came out a bit rare than they were used to. The menu posted outside is in Italian language only but the inside menus include English language translations. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were burrata ravioli with pesto, rabbit ragu with tagliatelle pasta, and raviolino with pear and Parmesan. Our waitress was helpful explaining the dishes when we were ordering. We shared a crumble and flourless chocolate cake and the bill came out just under 25€ per head. If you are looking to try something a little bit different from the standard fare you get back home, then this is a fine option. Would recommend to foodies who aren’t concerned with Michelin stars (or prices) and travelers looking for a balance of adventure and value in their dining journey.

This quaint restaurant is on a quiet street, but just a few steps away from the center of Firenze. The service was very friendly and ambiance was classic old world Italian. Our server was helpful in providing us with lunch recommendations. Our meal was beautifully presented, delicious, and one of our best meals in Italy.

Amazing dinner, our favourite in Florence! The food and wine were delicious and very well cooked, the service was great too. Also a good selection of desserts which we found hard to come by in the city! Would really recommended!

Oh wow, the Valantines lunch we had here was absolutely amazing! Stuffed pigeon and slow cooked wild boar finger liking good. The wine the hostess suggested was spot on and paired beautifully with the food!

Great place to eat Italian food with recommended wine by a sommelier! The guy really knows his stuff/passion! Although it does get busy at times, he will make sure that you're having a good time and inform you about the different wine selection! The pear and cheese gnocchi is a just so good!

This was recommended by our Airbnb host but I feel it came up a bit short. Perhaps it was just the dishes we ordered. We were definitely excited to see some non-standard fare on the menu as we settle into our 3rd week in Italy, but the execution wasn’t quite there. The first course was the best - the slow-cooked egg. Think a creamy potato soup with an egg added. A bit simple perhaps, but nicely done and delicious. The second course, the savory crepe Florentine was good in my opinion, but my wife thought it was too heavy on the cream, perhaps a result of our selection of two creamy dishes to start off. For the entrees, my wife’s tuna tartare with mango and avocado was the better choice. Pretty standard, but good quality fresh tuna. My entree, the rolled rabbit, was disappointing as it was overcooked and dry, and I didn’t feel like the purée or broccoli added to it in any way. The broccoli was also oversteamed and soggy. The sauce was too sweet. I did like the touches of preserved orange peel to provide a bitter and acidic component to balance the richness. But with the rabbit so dry, I couldn’t finish it. The small glass of limoncello at the end was nice, and the service overall was plenty friendly and pleasant.

Coquinarius is an absolute gem of a restaurant I stumbled upon during my recent visit to Florence. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its cozy and inviting ambiance. The warm lighting, good decor, and comfortable seating created the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Coquinarius truly exceeded my expectations with their exceptional stuffed pigeon. The dish was a harmonious blend of flavors, with the tender and succulent meat perfectly complemented by the rich stuffing. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, leaving me craving for more. But the surprises didn't end there. The rabbit dish at Coquinarius was a true masterpiece. The meat was wonderfully cooked, tender, and juicy, with a beautiful balance of flavors. The accompanying sauce added a delightful tanginess that elevated the dish to a new level. It was a true culinary delight that left me in awe. The service at Coquinarius was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect, from recommending the best wine pairings to providing insightful descriptions of each dish. Overall, Coquinarius is a must-visit restaurant in Florence. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Coquinarius will not disappoint.

Visited here for solo dining back in 2016 and had a great experience. Revisited and still a great experience. Friends liked it so much that we revisited on the last day of our trip. Food is great and so is the wine list and recommendation. We tried some natural/biodynamic local wine and loved it.

Great food and welcoming service. They are usually not very crowded and you can always find a table even without a reservation.

Delicious! High-end meal with prices that were reasonable. The ambiance was cozy and chill. Great service. The menu had vegetarian options. It’s not exactly traditional Tuscan, more a place for foodies who like a modern spin on their meals. Get the eggplant parm! You won’t regret it.

A lot of Americans were there. Sophisticated ones yes, but still, it annoyed me even though I’m American. The staff was gracious and accommodating to me as a solo diner . They spoke Italian when they heard me speaking Italian so it was nice. Great food. Sophisticated and unique menu reflecting the season. I was there in November . Menu was to die for.

Where to start. Atmosphere was pleasant. Well lit. Amazing customer service. Food was remarkable! I had a pear and pistachio pasta that didn't even know could blend so well in a flavor orchestra. My fiancé had one of thier dishes with rabbit. He agreed, we were both spoiled with how delious the food was!

Excellent food and best wine selection we had the opportunity to taste in Firenze (natural, bio, really great wine card) however the service was very long tonight, and always a bit lost (more than 30min to have the primi that arrived at the same time as the Secondi) and other lengths It’s a shame as the rest was perfect, very nice atmosphere, such a great selection of food and wine.

Wow! What a lovely restaraunt. The service, atmosphere, wine and food were all exceptional. I highly recommend trying their pear and Parmesan ravioli and beef cheeks.
