Good classic restaurant. The menu is short but there is something for everyone. The famous Bisteca Fiorentina is minimum 1.5kg for a coupe to share. You need to be hungry. 😃 Sadly we could not try it, but there are other meat dishes than can give you a sense of it.

We came here for our anniversary on a short trip to Florence. The food was fantastic, we took the sharing board of cured meats and cheeses for starter, which was huge - I was mostly full after just this! Beef filet for main course was extremely tender and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable waiters.

Our worst dinner experience in Florence. We found them based on the positive reviews on Google; however, upon arrival we realized it was a complete tourist trap - every patron there was a tourist. The food came out within 5 minutes and tasted as if it was microwaved but not enough. The "fresh" pasta tasted like cheap pasta you'd get in the States. Moreover, the prices were double what they should be (€25/plate for pasta). The bread on the table was subpar, and we were charged €7 for the few slices of small, cold bread. The environment feels very American in that we felt rushed and like we were being watched. Also, be aware that they explicitly ask for a tip on the receipt at the end. We absolutely regret coming to the restaurant.

The service was good and overall we had a great time. One thing to note - we made the mistake of ordering a glass of prosecco each (2 people), and later on ordered two more. These 4 glasses ended up being more costly than choosing a bottle.

We booked here based on the google reviews being so high and left with mixed feelings. It’s very old school and gives you that warm fuzzy feeling reminiscent of visiting a grandparent’s house as you enter. It’s a real time warp which is reflected in the menu. Skip the starters- they were really not great and overpriced. Soggy meets stale meets bland. Steak is exceptional- honestly truly delicious. Roast potatoes were very good too. Asparagus was very overboiled. Overall the food wasn’t amazing and was very over priced. Service and atmosphere could have been its saving grace but we had quite a weird waiter who was very patronising to us unnecessarily when we asked about wines (we had asked which reds were on the lighter side). Overall I felt we paid too much for a meal we didn’t love. It’s not going to go down in the memory books but was by far the most expensive meal we have had in Italy. If you must go- skip the starters, get the steak, and get the tiramisu.

There was no atmosphere. Restaurant was dated in decor and dirty in general. There was a cloud of fruit flies by the bar.
