Fantastic restaurant with generous portions! Shared Florentine steak between 2 people, which would have been enough, but we also got the pici with meat sauce and mushrooms. They had many great items on their menu which we would have loved to try as well (including their signature roast pork). Make sure to make reservations as it will be very hard to get a table without one. They take reservations in 1.5 hr rotations, so you can reserve for 6:30pm, 8pm, or 9:30pm. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Florence again!

This place is fantastic! Great food. Great service. Great prices. Huge portions. Nice wine choices. We can recommend everything we tried: foccacia, meat/cheese/pork platter, artichokes, lasagna, cannelonni, and beef stew with peppercorns. Some dishes bordered on being too salty if you're sensitive to that. Tons of leftovers to go and they package them up very nicely.

We found this gem after the reviews online. You wouldn’t even know it was a restaurant if you walked past it too quickly. The servers were very friendly! We got a bottle of house wine, the Florentine steak, white wine artichoke side, and the fruit panna cotta. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced. One serving of the steak (in the photo) is enough to feed two people and be really full!

Nice pasta, great prices. Friendly staff. They let people queue by the door instead of round the corner, so we had people literally standing around us while we ate. Should line them up outside so eating customers aren’t stared at while they enjoy their lunch.

What a gem of a restaurant! We went there for a late dinner and were amazed by the hospitality of the staff and the tastes. We tried the bistecca fiorentina which was amazing and a lot better priced than other restaurants in the city centre. The artichoke side dish was also amazing and we especially enjoyed the house red wine selection. Totally recommended for everyone! Recommended to make a reservation. We were lucky and found a table the first day but then we went to visit again and was fully booked.

Very good restaurant that serves simple and quality food. Its not expensive and portion size are big, excellent value for the price. Staff were very welcoming. For evening better book or walk in early.

I really enjoyed my dinner here with a friend. The meat skewers were delicious and the gnocchi as well! I wish we had the lasagna and the Florentine steak because the table next to us got it AND IT LOOKED AMAZING. If I come back to Florence, I would come here to eat again. On top of everything, the prices were inexpensive for the amount of food that we got! Note : my advice would be to make a reservation (either by phone or in person for the next few days). We didn’t do it and had to wait over an hour for a table for 2, while watching all the people, who reserved, walk in and get a table.

Best lunch we had in Firenze. All the dishes were very tasty and the price was reasonable. The portions have a good size. We ordered too much food but the staff but the staff kindly put the leftovers to take away and we took them for dinner that night. All the staff speak English. It's a must place if you are in Firenze.

Best restaurant, best taste and service, best price. It was the best T-bone steak I've ever had in Florence. I ate it well cooked. The wait was long, but I waited happily thanks to the kind staff. The warm store interior and taste are excellent. The best are the employees. The hats of all the staff impressed me. If I come to Florence from now on, I will definitely come again.

I was completely blown away by this restaurant. The staff was lovely and very welcoming. Secondly, the food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous - all at an extremely affordable price. I can’t recommend this place enough 😍

My wife and I had a roast chicken, grilled vegetables and roast potatoes. Every food was great. House wine (red) was also delicious. (3.5 euro for large glass). Many other guests were having T-bone steaks which costs 35 Euro or something, looking so good. I strongly recommend this place.

Very solid, simple, straight forward quality food. Was looking for some good Italian pasta and this place delivered. The staff was friendly and made it a nice easy dining experience. It was a bit hot sitting in the back corner of the restaurant but not too big of an issue. It definitely got hotter as I was stuffing myself with hot pasta. The pappardelle with meat sauce seemed a tad bit salty but still good.

The best steak in Florence. Juicy, fresh and perfectly prepared. The salad was delicious too and it was all huge for two of us. House wine was great too. The staff was very helpful and friendly and all space has special vibe. I think they have the most affordable prices for Fiorentina in all town. Usually you need to make a reservation but we came without it and wait for about 30 minutes for a table.

My partner and I discovered this place after searching online for good but cheap eats in Florence. Gosh, we have been here twice already and will come here again for our final dinner tonight before we fly tomorrow! Service was super friendly and efficient! Everyone was lovely and welcoming, eventhough we don't speak Italian. The food was top notch, highly recommend the beef stew, (gorgeous, if a little salty for my taste), and we also tried their sandwiches, absolutely divine and oh so super filling, come ln an empty stomach!! Much better than next door with the hype train. The tiramisu is very light and one can easily eat a lot! The panna cotta is flavourful and light also! Everything gives a home made vibe and taste, I feel like we tasted the real Florence here. Highly recommend!

First of all, best service I’ve ever had in Italy. Great team, great food. In Firenze, we were looking for a Toscany-style restaurant and from the advices on blogs found ourselves at La Fettunta. Because of winter and mid-day, we had only waited 3 minutes to be seated. Stewed beef and potato as a side was great. As a starter, please try traditional Fettunta bread with garlic and olive oil too. You won’t regret ! Thanks to young&sweet hospital waiter, sorry I do not remember your name :)

First night in Florence had to make my way to a Florentine steak spot. This place was near where I was staying and saw that it had good reviews and decent prices (other places are charging double 🤯). Although I did not have a reservation I was seated quickly at dinner time. The service was great and I was always attended to. The Florentine steak was delicious and I really enjoyed the sides. The house wine was a good pairing at a great price. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I visited Florence for 4 nights and we ate here on our last night. This restaurant was the best food , price and service we had in Florence. We wish we could stay 1 more night so we could eat here again and try different dishes. Everything looks delicious. Everyone here is very friendly and attentive. Shoutout to Phillip , our server. He is the best! Thank you! If we’re in Florence again in the future, we will definitely comeback to La Fettunta. If you are looking for something fancy this is not the place for you but if you are looking for local feeling , genuine service and authentic food kinda place. Eat here ,you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended! I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!

Great place for comforting Tuscan food. Amazing food, good service and nice atmosphere. Prices are really good. Note that the portion sizes are pretty huge, so no need to order many dishes. Peposo is recommended.

The steak is very tasty and the portion size is huge. The minimum starting portion is 1.3kg, enough for two people to share. The service is very good, but if you want a sandwich, you need to go to the other side of the shop to order it. The sandwiches are also very cheap and the portions are very generous and quite tasty.

We dined here 2 nights in a row. The food is outstanding, service wonderful and the whole dining experience a joy. The price is fantastic. An absolute gem of a restaurant. It's advised to pre book as it's so good it's always busy. A definite ten out of ten and a must visit whilst in beautiful Florence.

Visited here for dinner (twice) and lunch (for their sandwiches). Generous portions at an affordable price, and staff are friendly and attentive. The lasagne and beef stew are very tasty, although I found the meals to be a bit oily. The vanilla cream cake was also delicious. I would recommend a visit either to get sandwiches at lunch or dine in for dinner. Reservations for dinner are recommended to avoid disappointment.

Pork ribs were dry. But wine and appetites were really good. Decided to go there again and try pasta with meat I’ve just finished my pappardelle with meat. It’s the best food ever! Highly recommend. Home wine is also very very delicious

The food is delicious, the service was quite good, and the price was unbeatable. I don't know what more to say, besides the spread being much to vast for myself, you could easily dine here for €10 a head and the food is very very good. No complaints, I had the leftovers on a picnic.

This place is amazing! I really loved to eat here - everything was perfect. The staff was lovely, they even helped make sure we could finish our dinner in time to see the sunset! Also, all the thoughtfulness aside, the food is incredible!!! We ate the spicy beef stew and the pici with mushrooms and i still daydream about them, such a wonderful experience.

Really enjoyed the sandwiches here. It's crazy to look at the long lines nearby and this place has more choices and amazing sandwiches. We went 3 times and it was excellent. I preferred the Daniela. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches are huge. Bring your appetite. Very reasonable prices.

This place is a gem! We where lucky we got there around 7:20pm and could find an available table. The rest of the restaurant was full and reserved for later. You get to see how they prepare and cook the food. Excellent flavor and texture!! Will be back.

This place has the best pastas!!! So fresh and so tasty. I found this restaurant when I visited in 2020 and did a day trip from Bologna this weekend just so I could have the lasagne and pappadelle again. The two of us ordered three pastas, sides & a tiramisu. Try to book ahead and maybe fill up on mains and don't bother with the random sides.

Great food! The staff were wonderful and service was great. Got the Florentino steak and loved it. It's a lot so bring an appetite. Prices are super reasonable. The sides we got were wonderful as well, definitely try the artichokes.
