nail
salon
discriminates
against
non
Italian
speaking
customers.*
My
wife
and
I
are
travelling
and
my
wife
wanted
to
get
her
nails
done
before
our
next
destination.
My
wife
booked
a
time
to
have
her
nails
and
feet
done
today
at
3pm.
We
arrived
on
time
and
noticed
that
2
ladies
had
just
been
attended
to
and
no
other
nail
artist
was
free.
We
waited
patiently
while
several
people
were
prioritised.
After
waiting
90
minutes,
we
had
to
leave
as
we
had
tours
booked
and
other
appointments.
When
we
advised
the
attendant
who
made
my
wife's
booking,
she
appoligised
for
the
long
wait
while
staff
starred,
mumbled
words
and
laughed.
Essentially,
the
staff
avoided
serving
my
wife
and
their
behaviour
was
very
unprofessional.
During
the
time
my
wife
and
I
were
waiting,
people
that
could
speak
Italian
were
given
priority.
One
nail
artist
finished
a
lady
during
the
hour
we
were
waiting,
then
started
doing
other
things
around
the
shop
while
another
nail
artist
attended
another
Italian
speaking
lady
who
had
just
walked
in.
The
attendant
who
booked
my
wife
for
3pm
had
said
that
one
of
the
nail
artists
were
to
start
my
wife,
either
her
hands
or
feet
pending
who
finished
first.
This
did
not
happen.
Staff
had
discussions
in
Italian
and
avoided
us.
If
they
didn't
want
our
business,
they
should
not
have
wasted
our
time.
We
could
have
booked
elsewhere
and
made
better
use
of
our
day.
We
would
not
recommend
this
nail
salon
to
non
Italian
speaking
travellers.
