The owner, Leonardo, was an excellent host. He explained the traditional Tuscan dishes to us, and served us a traditional Tuscan sampling of Ribolleta, Lampredotti, and Trippa. Everything was fresh and delicious. A true hidden gem!

This is an excellent place where you can taste traditional Tuscan food and have a glass of good wine. Located in a lovely quiet area. The host was super nice and explained the ingredients of each dish in details. Also, they serve mocha, so if you're tired of espresso, this is the place to go :) I regret I didn't find this place earlier. Absolutely worth visiting!

All the dishes were delicious and unique. The beef tongue is one of my favorite dishes and highly recommend.

Lovely eatery with specialty menu. We LOVED it! We enjoyed Greek Salads, Risotto with sausage, bread and a special selection of marinated vegetables. Great host!

Exceptional dining experience at Lorenzo's restaurant...the wine pairing, risotto, ragu with fettuccine, and frittata were superbly prepared and simply presented with delicious fresh ingredients for a wonderful evening away from the town center crowds

The owner was incredibly nice, and the food was great. We had really good wine, of which we even took a bottle to-go. An amazing and affordable option, which is a must if you're ever in the area.

Lorenzo is an amazing cook and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. His dishes are authentic to Florence and Tuscany, he knows exactly the wine to pair with them and everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

My BEST favorite restaurant in Florence! Lorenzo is a very friendly and warm person. He explained each menu and allowed me to taste the wines that went well with it. All foods were very good, but especially the tripe was my best! He also taught me a lot about sightseeing in Florence. It made my holiday in Lucca wonderful. I am very sorry that I did'nt know you were closed on Sundays, so I'm not able to visit you on my last day in Flourene... Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! I will definitely come back to see you and your delicious food when I go to Italy again!
