I had a photoshoot scheduled and was able to get a blowout appointment the same day without much notice. The staff were very friendly and the salon was well kept and clean. I enjoyed my shampoo experience as the shampoo area is dark lit and offers a relaxing atmosphere. Also my stylist used oils that smelt wonderful and she did a great job massaging my scalp. She then did a wonderful job matching my inspiration photo for the hairstyle I wanted. I walked out feeling great!

Salvatore was INCREDIBLE. I came in nervous about getting curly bangs cut in Italy but I walked out feeling amazing! My hair has never been cut this well in the States so I’m convinced I must return whenever I need a great style. The whole staff is very friendly and English-speaking. Wonderful experience. Extremely happy with my excellent cut and balayage. The color is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Excellent service and stylist who was extremely skilled and also gave me a beautiful blow dry. Couldn’t be happier.

Athina was excellent for wash, hair cut and blow dry. I had to rush to check out from the hotel and within 30 mins she did my hair cut perfectly. Understand my long tresses well and what style will go well with my face structure and hair texture. Will come back to Florence just for color and hair

Visiting Florence and came here to get a my hair cut. Fransisco is Amazing! I added the scalp treatment, which was so worth it! He is the best! My hair and scalp feel great and hair feel lighter. So happy I came here! Will come again next time I’m in Florence!! Now I have the perfect hair for the rest of my 2 week trip throughout Italy!! Everyone is so nice and welcoming!

“Awesome” is a very over-used word. But in this case, it’s use is entirely appropriate to best describe my experience with Francesco at Contrasto. I made a last minute decision to get my hair cut while in Florence Italy because I haven’t been pleased with my hair since moving to to a small town (in the US) 5 years ago. I went in with the hope that I can get a cut that I would like. After a bit of discussion with Francesco the plan changed to include highlights and a little TLC for dry scalp. I have never enjoyed a salon experience as I enjoyed this one. Francesco pulled out all the stops - head and scalp massage, beautiful cut and color that was absolutely perfect for my skin tone, and styling. I truly felt as though my comfort and happiness with the outcome was very important to Francesco. I have never been as happy with my hair as I was on this day. Thank you Francesco and the entire team at Contrasto! I am more pleased with my hair than ever before.

Let’s just say I’ve been coming here every single week…. for a month and a half. I’m extremely picky about my hair and had a love/hate relationship with hairdressers for so long but they’ve definitely changed my mind. Everyone is extremely talented and passionate about their work. I do have a soft spot for Stefania and Haru, they’re simply incredible. Big shoutout to Ariana as well because she is literally the sweetest.

So happy to have finally found Noemy who I can trust with all of my hair care needs. She’s super skilled in cuts, color, highlights, styling and keratin treatment. Thank you!
