The absolutely best place I have stayed in Italy. Its very clean, peaceful, quiet, extremely well located and with a great breakfast and sitting area outside. The nuns are friendly, kind and lovely people who provide much better service than most hotels!!! I will stay here again if I ever come to Florence. Amazing.

The sisters were so sweet and the location is quiet. Nice little offering of breakfast in the morning.

It’s a lovely little place but a bit rudimentary. We didn’t have hot water, the heater didn’t work (and it was cold weather and rainy so after a long journey one welcomes a good hot shower to warm up). No extra blankets and a thin quilt. Lastly we opened to door to our room only to find another lady inside!! She was on the floor above us same room number…but a bit scary that the keys worked. The sisters are very friendly and they are lovely- they have mass in the morning and evening prayer at 6pm. But you get what you pay for.

This monastery is a bit more expensive than others, but it's worth it. The nuns here are some of the kindest, most understanding people I've ever met. The monastery itself is very beautiful, the rooms are clean and nice, and the location is amazing. Breakfast was frugal, but pretty good (you guys just need a toaster!)

Fairly average if I’m honest. On the plus side it was a central location and there was a pleasant garden at the back. Don’t get taken away on the romantic perception that it’s a beautiful religious setting - it’s not. The nuns are friendly enough. The rooms are like something from the 1970’s - 2 tiny single beds with springs which stuck into my back, weak small shower, no TV, there was an intermittent light (from an alarm) flashing on the ceiling. I was nipped by mosquitos all night. Plus the breakfast is poor - coffee from a machine, hard bread, cake and apples. If it’s the only thing you can find it’s tolerable otherwise look elsewhere

What an oasis of calm...We literally FELL through the big doors into this cool, calm convent hostel. Fantastic location too. But impossible to park, garage just around the corner can store one's vehicle, at a price. The sisters were lovely and very helpful. Perfect stay. Many thanks
