Stayed here with my wife and two young children. The room was very clean and pleasant. The location was excellent. Rafael was attentive and helpful. No complains.

The room was spacious and comfortable with great designs and paintings. All of the staff was very professional and had our breakfast tables prepared each morning along with a lovely cappuccino. Also, the location is unbeatable - just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and main square. Nearly all the key sites were within a 10 - or 12-minute walk. We had to check in late, but the self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Staff met us for breakfast the next day to complete check-in. Be advised that there is no elevator, so it's best for people without accessibility restrictions.

Our hosts were kind and helpful, with check in being quick and efficient. We stayed in the 'suite' room which was stunning and very comfortable. Breakfast was available daily between 8am and 10am with a nice selection. Location was excellent, being a quick 2 minute walk to the Duomo! Highly recommend!

If you want to fall in love with Italy, this is the place to stay! (But be ready to walk up flights of stairs with all your luggages!) Raphael, and his team of hosts make your stay with N4U such a welcoming experience. If you arrive early, they will accommodate your luggage so you can explore the city before checking in, and they will do he same at check out if you your schedule allows you to do more after check out time. Breakfast is perfectly prepared each morning for a great way to start our day. There’s a nice restaurant (one w the yellow lightbulbs) few steps down for a wonderful meal, Scuola del Cuoio S.r.l. Which is about a 10 mins walk offers the best local artistry of leather goods (amazing staff there too!!)… we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! Thank you for our lovely stay, we wish we could have been there longer!

Amazing location only 3 minutes walk from the Santa Maria de Fiore. The rooms architecture and decor is exceptional, breakfast is complete and homemade good like chocolate bread and almond pie. I will definitely come back and already recommend to all my friends and family. Very easy check-in and check out. Beautiful experience .

What an amazing location, only a cpl of hundred metres from the main piazza. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Breakfast is included, and while reasonably simple, is very nice. Perfect apartment for exploring Florence

Shamful People they are money minded. Do not expect them to be flexible. The only need your money. Robbing is their speciality. In case you argue for your money they threat to Kill as they have mafia connections.

Had the pleasure of staying at N4U in Florence. The place was clean, well lit, and fancy looking. The guest house is Florence style apartment and will take some walking to get up to. They have six large suites. The one I was in had a 15ft ceiling, chandelier, art painted ceiling, mix of antique and modern furnishings, and a modern washroom. The room had a radiator heater but the heat was inconsistent and the room was cold at times. A lot of these older style accommodations are not sound proofed and some of the guests were loud coming and going. Thankfully the suites on either side of me had quiet guests. Breakfast was between 8 and 10am. Some meats and cheese, bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, water, cereal, juice press for the oranges, cappuccino/espresso type drink dispenser. Check in time was between 2 and 6pm. Luckily we were able to get in early go drop off our bags.

Great place by the dome. Bathroom is outside the room, but not shared. Awesome breakfast buffet.

N4U is a very good facility in a remarkable historic building. The lobby area was built in the 11th century and our room in the 15th century. You walk out on the street (through the 14 foot high solid wood doors!) and you are in the heart of old Florence. The Duomo is two blocks north, the Museo Bargello is a block south. Our room opened up onto the street but the double windows kept out all street noise when the window was closed. There was a/c with an in-room control, which is not common in Florence in October. Breakfast was served in the room, which was really cool. Our ceiling had a 15th century fresco on it and the bed was very comfortable. This is a remarkable historic building with an incredible amount of character. Our private bath was down the hall, but we didn't share it and had our own key. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a US-style Hilton experience this is probably not for you, but good luck finding that in Florence at a reasonable price close to the old city center. If you want to be in the middle of the old city and its history I can't recommend this more highly. Book early to get a good rate!

Location was excellent. Room was quite good, spacious with high ceilings. Toilet was great as well with a very modern finish. And here comes the inevitable BUT, it's on the 4th floor without a lift, so if you're traveling with a small family, good luck to the dad trying to carry all the suitcases on top of this mountain. The policy of check-in between 2-6pm is quite inflexible, anything outside this window will be charged €20! Regardless of your flight being delayed or in my case train being cancelled. You hunt around trying to get the best deal and in the end if you have to pay such a penalty it just spoils the experience. They don't have any staff around after 6pm which means if you need anything like extra towels or another bedsheet, tough, wait till the morning. Checkout is at 10am, which is quite early, am I supposed to take my suitcases to the breakfast room?? To be fair they do show flexibility here so you can delay it a bit without incurring another fine. Breakfast wasn't anything to boast about, just regular cold breakfast.

Wonderful location in the centre of Florence. Kind staff, good and clean rooms, good breakfast. You can leave the luggages after checkout if necessary till 6 PM, useful in case of late departure from Florence. Only one note... No elevators available in the building which is very old... And this b&b is at the 2nd floor (77 steps...)...
