I gave birth in September 2018 and honestly the birth went well, whoever was with me was really kind, understanding and professional, despite the fact that we went from being alone to 5/6 or even 10 people, but being a university hospital that's okay. . However, the hospital stay was unforgettable, they kept us for 6 days due to the baby's jaundice and in those 6 days I cried all the tears I had in my body. I don't understand how it is possible not to show a minimum of empathy for the women who are experiencing that moment and often, as in my case, for the first time... the figure of someone who assists us even just emotionally is completely non-existent, indeed often and willingly even mocked for our inexperience. From the OSS to the nurse to the cleaning lady, everyone allowed themselves to give advice, except those who really had to do it, never mind paediatricians and midwives... if you don't feel like working, stay at home!

Department to be closed and reopened only after due replacement of all the doctors (as they like to be called, even if they are nothing more than aspiring doctors with terrible prospects) who work there. The environment would also be new and welcoming, a shame for those who work there who are extremely incompetent, presumptuous and arrogant. Dispassionate advice: avoid like the plague, only in this way can things change!!!! Rambaldi Marianna Pina to be fired

Good department. Perhaps a little too much of a disconnect between new and old generations of doctors, obstetricians and nurses. But you can see the strong commitment of the younger ones. Very professional staff. In my opinion, the department is experiencing strong professional and organizational growth.

Second birth here in Careggi for us. Medical, nursing, healthcare, administrative, auxiliary staff... what can I say: all incredible to say the least. My wife (for the second time) couldn't stop telling me how pampered and cared for she felt; good and attentive in the medical field, sweet and present on a personal and emotional support level. Furthermore, almost all of them are very young and full of energy and the desire to do well. These are the people we need to defend and put in a position where they don't have to leave the country to get a good job. I, my wife Elmira, Raffaele and Michele thank you with all our hearts for your seriousness and professionalism, no less for the personal commitment and heart you put into these very important and delicate moments in people's lives.

It is certainly an excellent facility but the gynecological emergency room does not work as it should. Since this is an emergency room where patients in very delicate conditions are received, it is not possible to leave it totally at the mercy of some specialists, leaving them free decision-making will. Trainees must be supported by trained doctors who, having more experience, will be able to make the right decisions. I went to the emergency room with serious threats of miscarriage and severe inflammation. A resident examined me and told me that everything was normal and I could go home. The next day I returned to the emergency room, fortunately the resident on duty consulted with a more experienced doctor who admitted me urgently. 10 days of hospital stay will follow.

If you make an appointment in this department, keep busy for the whole day. They don't have the slightest respect for appointments. You wait 2 hours just to enter the clinic, then a resident visits you and makes you wait another hour because his work has NOT been checked by the competent doctor, therefore everything has to be repeated from scratch. They don't have software or they don't use it. I would not know. Every time you have to repeat it all over again to those who visit you again. Even between departments they don't write things down on the software. So if you change departments between maternity and prenatal they don't excommunicate each other and even in this case everything has to be repeated from scratch. Ah, remember to check in and come 30 minutes before the appointment, because you have to queue there too.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all this wonderful structure. From the people who work at reception, to prenatal medicine, the dieticians, the obstetric emergency room, the obstetric inpatient department, the delivery room. This whole enormous machine made up of professionals who, in addition to working well, put their human side into helping others. Thank you so much from our family

I have 2 opinions on this department. From a medical and professional point of view, nothing to say. Unfortunately the postpartum hospital stay was terrible, obstetric staff needed to be reviewed, there was little empathy and little support. They are breastfeeding Taliban and if you don't breastfeed you have to make yourself heard to get formula milk. I also find the very little assistance during the night terrifying when you are very tired and would like to rest a bit and no one helps you. Rooming in should be a choice and not an obligation

I was followed by the High Risk Pregnancies Department and I can only be more than satisfied. Every month I carried out an obstetric visit and a second level ultrasound to evaluate the state of the children. They were the most beautiful months of my life and I sincerely thank Giulia Masini who followed me from the beginning until the cesarean section. Very nice and professional. I thank all the midwives and the OSS of Hospital B. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and they helped me with everything, especially with breastfeeding, which wasn't easy with twins. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars just because the cleaning is a bit superficial, even if they came 3 times a day. I had to clean the headboard of the cot myself and all the handles in the bathroom which were full of dust.

From the 5th month of pregnancy I was followed by this department. I had a great time (acceptance aside, not for the staff, but for the large flow of people, very long waits before visits). Very friendly staff (residents are called residents for a reason, it's nice to see such young people at work). My delivery had no complications. I felt safe and was treated very well by everyone. I was able to enjoy my little girl from the first moments. I can only thank everyone from the bottom of my heart ❤️ (doctors, nurses, medical specialists, the rest of the staff). A special thank you to the specialist midwife Ginevra, very young but very sweet and prepared.❤️
