The food was good. It was our second Bisteca in a week. It wasn't, moved to tears good but for the value it was very good. The atmosphere was nice, we didn't feel rushed at all. The bathrooms aren't terribly inappropriate, but I would feel awkward taking a kid into the women's restroom. Feedback for the owner would be, if you're going to hang a bunch of 80s chicks with their T&As hanging out, don't then only include old, flabby, hairy men along with them

A unique steakhouse experience in Florence. Gruff waiters reminiscent of Peter Luger’s or other NY steakhouses. They serve just one cut: a 3” thick T-Bone. And they cook it one way: rare. Take it or leave it. They cool ils up their ticket size if they’d add some delicious side dishes. Grilled veggies were boring and flavorless.

Top top top! If you want to enjoy a real Fiorentina steak while being out of the touristy areas, this is the place to go. The food is 10 out of 10! We got a 1.7kg steak for 3 and it was delicious, the starter also very nice and so was the pasta dish and the grilled vegetables! House wine 🍷 also 👍!

What a place! The best steak this side of Atlantic by a long shot. Don’t even think about it - go here to try the food.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel concierge when we asked for the best florentine steak to have and it did not disappoint us! Menu was only in Italian on arrival so left us a bit nervous but servers spoke English so it was not a problem. We ordered the bistecca alla florentina for two and the steak was juicy, fatty and melted in your mouth. Service was quick and efficient and server cuts the steak for you in typical florentine fashion. House wine was tasty and fairly priced. Highly recommended experience for anyone traveling to Florence.

Nice restaurant with amazing beefsteak. However, 1.2kg per 2 people is too much for the Asian stomach. I love how we were served ưeith a bowl of growing vegetables like the picture! The light is a little bit too dim outside. I hope to eat in a brighter space when I come back.

We were referred by a local here who told us that it is less ‘touristy’ than the other restaurants in central Florence. We arrived for early dinner at around 7:30pm — beautiful interiors especially the steak display at the entrance. However we felt we received 2nd class treatment from the staff: 1. There were a lot of available tables at the front, which don’t seem to be reserved, but we were seated at the far end of the restaurant where the waiters do not pass by often. 2. There was minimum help or service from the waiters. Dishes were literally handed to me and we were supposed to organise the table so the dishes would fit to our table 3. We expected bistecca to be cooked rare but the one served to us looked really undercooked and felt cold to the touch shortly after sliced. 4. Nobody was watching the space so we had to frequently chase for the waiter to ask for water and get the bill. To compare, we ate at another restaurant, and I would say the food, service, and prices are night and day different. May we just came at a bad timing or we simply got the tourist treatment after all. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We had only one night in Florence so choosing a restaurant was important as it was our only dinner in the city. I got recommended by a local Italian friend for this restaurant. Out of the tourist area but still not far from the center, Perseus is a nice restaurant for the local Florentine steak. The matching red wine was also really tasty as well as the tiramisu. I also liked the fried mushrooms as a side dish to the steak. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was really good!

Amazing! Delicious! The best! It was a bit far from our apartment but the walk was totally worth it. The bistec alla florentine was really really delicious. Even kids loved it. The staff was super friendly (also with kids) and gave good suggestions for the food and seize of portions. Definately place to dine in while in Florence.

The food looked great (although the portions were too big for the average eater) but they made us wait for a long time while they let other couples without reservations enter before us. One of the staff members (an older man with long hair) was incredibly rude: he shouted at us in Italian in a condescending manner. We decided to take our money somewhere else.

The Fiorentina was amazing! The atmosphere was nice and calm. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If you are looking to eat the most typical Tuscan dishes, this is your place!

Loved it - we went there twice in two days. The Fiorentina is just amazing - finally some grilled meat in Italy that has absolutely nothing to envy to Argentina, Uruguay or Mexico. Cooked to perfection. Fresh vegetables offered very appreciated. Desserts and wine by the glass also good. On the first night service was - as suggested in some reviews - a bit fast and dismissive, but... we still went the second night and would definitely go back again :-)

If all you want is lots of rare cooked steak, this place is great. It was delicious and melted in the mouth. However, the experience was a big let down in other areas. The most stale bread I’ve ever eaten in my life felt insulting; it was free and we still didn’t get our money’s worth. The complimentary vegetables looked interesting, but were dry and inelegant to eat. We were advised the minimum quantity of steak is 600g pp and if sharing, you can only order it rare. Finally, you can’t order wine per the glass, so I did not bother as my partner and friend do not drink.

Was initially very happy. Welcomed suitably and sat at a nice table. They took my order and I got some nice bread and the wine I had ordered. Then came the mega steak, they kindly cut it off the bone for me and I very much enjoyed eating it. Sadly once I finished it I became invisible for over 30 minutes. I said to one waiter that I would like a dessert and he mumbled something as he carried on passed but no-one came to take my order. After some time I got frustrated as this is not a cheap place to eat so forcefully had to say to a other waiter that I wanted to pay and leave. Would have been a 5* if they hadn't left me hanging so badly, shame.

This restaurant is absolutely a good choice if you are looking for eating traditional Italian-Tuscany food of the finest quality. The meat we were served was extraordinary! I just regret not ordering the Florence T-bone steak as some of my friends did. I tried it from them and it really was good!(anyway also my fillet was excellent). Good atmosphere and a thumb-up for the professional and friendly personnel of Perseus. Hope to come back soon!

Great restaurant just outside the tourist area. Menu is entirely in Italian but waiter helped us order something delicious. Sits on a busy road but we didn't mind and they had great wine.

Great food, great service, great desserts. We had the Steak for 3 and pesto gnocchi and they were absolutely wonderful. The one thing I will say is that the photos on the walls in the bathrooms (both male and female) may not be suitable for young eyes.

Peseus came recommended fromour host at the Air Bnb we stayed at. Nice 3 minute walk. The atmosphere was great. We walked into a loud and happy establishment. First thong we see is a cabinet of very good looking cuts of steak on display. The host proceeds to take us through a labrynth of rooms to our table. Our waiter was a very happy older man. Very patient with us as we aytempted to order off the menu in Italian. Food and wine was excellent and so was the service. Agin we made new friends. The waiter brought us some limoncello and proceeded to tell us there was no rush and we could hang out a while. We ordered the cheesecake with fruit (probably one of the best I have ever tasted) and a coffee. We had a great time people watching. Highly recommend and will be back for sure next visit.

This restaurant is not a tourist trap and is definitely popular with the locals! The food is typical of the region and very tasty. Their florentine steak was incredible. They also have a house wine that is made specifically for this restaurant. It is well worth a try. They cater well for large groups, just be sure to book ahead.

Bistecca Florentine here was killer. Just really beautifully executed. My wife’s (vegetarian) sage and butter ravioli was very good as well, but the other elements of the restaurant are a passing thought. Really kitschy over the top “salads” serve as the table centerpiece, (my wife and I tried to eat some which I, sadly, don’t recommend as many of the veggies were dirty and limp — cute presentation and fun but upsetting bc it’s never cool to see food waste). The bread is kinda stale and the wine list is meh. But service is friendly and prices seem on point with what to expect here in Florence.

Interesting place to grab a Florentine steak. The food was quite good but some of the stuff was odd as well (bowl full of raw produce at our table first). The steak was good and the tiramisu was some of the best we had in Italy.
