The location is very nice: The Downtown is very close and there is also public transport nearby. Very nice modern look, very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and the staff helps you a lot. The negatives are: High Price, limited breakfast food options. But I would still recommend it to you.

We enjoyed our stay at the Michaelangelo. My top priority in hotels is cleanliness, and this hotel was clean everywhere! We had a deluxe room for 3 of us, two twins and a sofa bed. It was comfortable, and average size for a European Hotel in a big city. There were many great restaurants around, and it is very close to the Vatican, but a long walk to the other tourist sites on the other side of the river. Our breakfast was included with our stay, it has a far greater selection of items than we expected.

I would not recommend it. I never experienced a 4-star hotel with this kind of bathroom. Definitely not the standard of comfort I was expecting. The shower does not have any protection so you’ll end up wetting the whole bathroom. The NH hotel right next to this hotel has much better rooms and a decent comfort as expected from a 4-star hotel

We asked the hotel last night if they could accommodate a early check in and they said yes. We got here this morning and it wasn't available. We would not have kept the booking if it wasn't available early. Don't come here...they will tell you they accommodate you and they won't.

Very good hotel 15/20min by walk to the center. They pretty much have everything (fitness room, big breakfast and parking). Be aware though for the parking YOU HAVE TO PASS THROUGH THE ZTL so be sure to make your trip according to that. There's nothing the staff can do if you passed by mistake, parking is pretty small but very secure and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are big (20m2) with a good view, good insonorisation and clean! 100% will come back.

Location a little walk from the main attractions however this means it is quieter and the tram goes from right outside the hotel and takes you into town. Tram Station has a ticket machine so no need to go to the shop first like in other Italian cities. Hotel clean and rooms of good standard. Breakfast also good.

On the strength of the hotel’s location to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican, as well as the plentiful breakfast they offer, I rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The king bed room is small but clean. The front desk continues to need a bit of hospitality development but all in all I would return. 10/8/23 - 10/11/23

Bad feelings. Having breakfast now. 1) had to stay in line for 15 minutes because tables where not enough for people waiting. Like me other +20 people; 2) almost nothing to have breakfast with between 9.15 and 10 (no juices, no croissant, not even cups); 3) had to ask 4 times for a cappuccino and 1 for a cup. The lady there is gentle but service is not organized at all. Like me, Many other people complained. Rooms are ok.

It's not in the main area for tourists wanting to see the sights. It's about 25 minute walk. The rooms need a refresh and a little TLC. The price you pay isn't matching what you get. The rooms are okay, comfortable bed but not 4 star. The staff are abrupt and unfriendly. The bar has a list of drinks and cocktails. Most cocktails are not available and again staff are abrupt. I do not recommend the hotel as the staff are so unfriendly. It's far from the tourist area. However one positive It's very quiet.

Good: Comfortable, clean rooms. Close to transit. Friendly staff. Bad: VERY LOUD room/hallway noises made to difficult to sleep.

Very good conference hotel ! Very good for business ! Not so much for tourists

We were a group of 10 had a wonderful relaxing stay. The accommodations were very nice and the best part of our visit was the breakfast in the morning. The front office team was amazing and extremely helpful . We would highly recommend this unique place for a visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again soon!

A short walk from the train station (14 mins) and then everything else in Florence is within a 20 minute walk so it's an excellent base for your stay. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were incredibly comfortable - and huge! Highly recommended.

Not in downtown actually, but it is an advantage.. quite place.. clean rooms, enough broaden lobby, having good breakfast... helpful stuff

Avoid this hotel! Very small and old rooms, very little quantity and very bad bfst quality in underground floor, unfriendly service, far away from Florence centre (35 min. walk)!

The hotel was very nice, but pretty far away from what one wants to see in Florence.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms and good location. Not in central Florence, but walking distance to train station and some of the sights. Biggest concern was lack of food options. Breakfast buffet was fair and they don’t have any room service menu. We got some food from the bar, but it came frozen!

Room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very small and very basic considering the rate was north of 350 per night. Fridge not working, no shower gel in the bath, bath not draining properly, room service food so mediocore. Breakfast: they run out of eggs 1 hour before closing, bread not fresh, overall extremely Limited poor quality selection. Location not convenient. Staff does seem attentitve but i guess they are trying their best with what they have.

I've no opinion on the hotel itself. I'm certain it's great, having stayed in a Starhotel before. However, I spent a week lodging across from their underground parking garage entrance. The gate squeals and screeches slowly and unpleasantly each time it opens and closes (all day!) so I advise any guests to avoid rooms on that side. The poor gate is begging for some maintenance, and for someone to oil its dry gears and tired mechanism.

The staff at Starhotels are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They are trustees as they called us after 5 minutes from checking out for missing stuff.. Please give your staff awards , they deserve more! Thank you so much.. we will definitely make it again:)

Great hotel with friendly staff. 20 min walk from City attractions or 5 min ride on the tram. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Excellent air conditioned rooms (a must in the summer). I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Only two kilometres away from mayor attractions. The room was clean and very comfy.

I held an international Symposium. The hotel staff and especially the events staff was wonderful to work with and made sure that we never had to ask for anything. I will definitely be going back!
