Absolutely horrible! looks nice in pictures but the staff is very very unfriendly. Plase choose another hotel, there are many many better options in Florence. The car parking offer is a joke and the rest of the hotel aswell. I can NOT recommend this.

added a screenshot from a video I took of the bugs we found in the room as they responded with "fake news" which tells you all you need to know about the management style. Deborah should not be in a customer facing role. 1. The images of the suite bathroom we booked on the website are actually different from the bathroom we got (small corner shower instead of a full width shower). Also the window in our room (108) looked out onto nothing but a wall. 2. When we originally checked in they didn't offer to help with bags so we had to make multiple trips in the comically tiny 1-person elevator. 3. We discovered our room (108) had several bugs/mosquitoes when we checked in - when we reported this to the reception desk, we were offered some bug spray and an alternate (smaller, albeit nicer suite with view to street) room for 1 night only. The reception desk staff member was astonishingly unhelpful and didn't even offer to help us move our bags from one room to the other so we had to move all our own bags and cases. 4. Original room (108) had a broken light. 5. Original room (108) had scuffed walls/paint. 6. Living room area had stained sofa. 7. Tiny bed side tables, No USB ports next to bed in either room. (it's 2021!). Disappointing experience for what claims to be a 4-star hotel. Ruined our first night in Florence for what was supposed to be a special occasion.

A contemporary hotel in the heart of Florence. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed but very small. We had a suite which gave us a bit more room but nothing like you expect when you hear the word suite. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming and maybe it’s because this is week four of similar type breakfast being offered at the previous hotels.

Would definitely stay there again...great service from the staff, perfect location Edit.. So after we stayed, I had asked to book a room for my three daughters. They were so impressed; they mentioned that the front staff and Giacomo treated them incredibly. This is clearly an example of someone that takes pride in their facility and work. I would definitely stay here again, actually already lining up trip in the spring. Thank you to all.

This is a spectacular boutique hotel with only 24 rooms! The room design is great and each room is unique. This modern furnishing and contemporary art only add to the vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect -- an easy 5 min. walk to the train station and duomo. A great base for exploring Renaissance Florence. This was an amazing find. I would recommend the property to anyone. Plus, it's where the original Mona Lisa was hiden after it was stolen from the Louve in the early 1900s. The story of the heist lives on in this fun property.

I stay in this hotel last January and it is in the heart of Florence. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and good, but very small as you know hotel always small in old cities. We had a suite which gave us a bit more room. Because it’s great hotel and nearby everything in Florence, I am going to stay in this hotel again in my next visit in January.

The location is very good. It's close to train station and taxi can come in front of the hotel. The staffs were great and helpful. The breakfast was so so. The hotels story plan was interesting because two buildings were connected. The back side building has some smell issue. I think it came from sewage. We always had to turn on fan to get rid of smell. The cleanliness of room was ok but room was tiny.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Florence, within walking distance of many iconic sites. The wine bar in the cellar was cozy and fun. Service was excellent and the breakfast was good.

Location is good but that's about it. AC doesn't work in the room, it smells like sewage in the whole hotel but it's worse in the rooms! Rooms are small and cannot accommodate a family of 4...that's ridiculous. We had to get 2 rooms for a family of 4. Rooms are infested with Mosquitoes.

We stayed at La Gioconda suite, it’s cosy two level suite with a famous story behind it. The warmth and hospitality we received from hotel staff especially Alessandro and Eleonora is most appreciated. I don’t want to forget to mention a good service from the concierge man in morning shift ( I don’t know his name but he’s a phillipino )

Great location- just a short walk from SMN train station. AC was full power which made it easy to sleep! Our family of four had a two bedroom suite with a small hallway and bathroom in between. Shower was great, but it took a few minutes to figure out the water temperature control. Staff was friendly.

This is by far the best hotel in Florence. The customer service is truly unbelievable. Giacommo and Daniel are amazing. I would ONLY recommend this hotel! It also has some amazing history (our room was where the Mona Lisa was hidden after it was stolen from the Louvre!). Again, best hotel, good prices and nicest people you will encounter in Italy

Bang in the centre of Florence it's the ideal location. Reception staff were extremely nice and offered help straight away. Despite the central location on a busy thoroughfare, rooms were sound proof as advertised. Beds were comfy and the shower had good strength to it. Also had water top up point which all hotels should have!

Fantastic hotel, we had a great room! Staff was extra welcoming, advised us on places to go and they also offer free luggage storage on the day of check out, so useful! The hotel is about 4 minutes from the duomo and maybe 7 from the train station, perfectly located! Finally, that may be silly but the coffee available in the room was super good!

Terrible customer service. The concierge was talking in an impolite manner and fighting with me to convince me that I did cancel the taxi service while I was actually referring to the following day service. The issue is not important but the way he handled it was terribly bad and very irritating. Also the rooms are congested, shower isn't practical, and breakfast is below my expectations. I don't recommend the place.

I really liked this hotel. It's not super luxurious but it's comfortable, clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was just perfect. And you cannot beat the location.

Perfect room for a family of 5. Brilliant people running the hotel and awesome location. Just really cool and nice place to stay. The breakfast room is small and it's just a small simple buffet breakfast but that's totally fine for what we wanted.

Really nice and modern hotel, nice staff and tiny elevator. The toilet was extremely high.. Need to tip toe to use the toilet... And found at least 3 mosquitos in the room... Probably because of the balcony

Great stay and just down the street from the main tourist locations. Cons: the toilet was extremely high. Like: you must be at least 6 feet to comfortably use it...

Will come again for sure...

Lovely hotel in the heart of Florence. We stayed 4 nights here & easily could've spent more. The hotel looks practically brand new inside, very clean & bright. Location is stellar, as it is just down the road from the Duomo & still very much in the heart of Florence. Most of the key city sites are within 5 minutes of walking. Our room was on the larger side compared to most Mediterranean hotels & was nicely furnished. Very modern in style, which isn't my thing but still looks very nice. But the main highlight is the soundproofing. For being in the middle of a city, this hotel room was the quietest I think I've ever been in. Little to no sound carryover from neighboring rooms or outside. It was heavenly, & definitely spoiled us a bit for the rest of our trip! Staff is courteous & very helpful; they assisted us in confirming tours, finding locations around town, etc. Breakfast food is nice, though a bit more limited compared to the other hotels we stayed at on this trip; still includes a range of meal types though. One note about the hotel interior, there is only 1 elevator to the main lobby & it is pretty tiny, which could be bothersome for some people. That said, it is very new & runs smoothly (no Tower of Terror vibes here lol). Also, the front door is opened by buzzer or using your room key, so people cannot just come in at random. Overall a lovely hotel, easily one of my favorites we stayed at during our whole trip. Solid 5/5 star experience.

I had the most wonderful solo stay here for a weekend. The staff was exceptional in making me feel at home by remembering little things about me - which I especially appreciate as a solo traveller. They helped me secure a garage nearby in a perfect location and took care of my baggage on multiple occasions. The rooms are slightly small, but the location more than makes up for that. You're a 2 minute walk from the Duomo! (And no more than a 15 minute walk from anywhere within the city center). I'll certainly be coming back!

We had a fantastic stay in the Frame Hotel last week-end. The location is IDEAL, right in the middle of the city which is very good when you want to visit and come back regularly to have a little rest in your room. The welcome is outstanding, with a great deal made about the history of the hotel. The rooms are very nicely decorated, beds excellent, breakfast very generous in a very nicely decorated room. ( I recommend the big host table). I STRONGLY RECOMMEND !!!!

We stayed here several years ago when it was La Gioconda. The renovations are beautiful. Sleek, modern design. Simple and stylish furnishings. Great staff. Self-service wine bar in the basement. Excellent breakfast. Central location. Easy walk to the Duomo, 10 minutes to Uffizi Gallery, 7 minutes to Mercado Centrale. 5 minute walk from Unita airport tram stop. Highly recommended.
