This is a walk through history although I'd argue that it is not maintained as well as the Uffizi. Some great collections of modern art and a peak into the lives of the aristocrats. You'll need more than 2 hours to walk through the halls and actually look at the work. Some of the spaces were poorly lit so it was difficult to see the work. There was no explanation about the work or the artist but a brief summary of each room's historical context was available.

Beautiful collection of art and costumes. The building itself is lovingly maintained.

Find a sunny day and go for a walk. Well worth it for the peace and quiet.

Nice museum but rude and aggressive staff. We could not enjoy the visit as much as we wanted because of really annoying staff.
