i've been needing a place to stay, applied, and now i'm waiting for a response. i've call, emailed,texted, and each time i go in person when they say there open, they close!!! Took a picture on saturday at 12pm, and they are close when even their own sign says there open. Really bad management for a first impression.

River chase is cool to move if you need somewhere to move asap but not long term! Every month there is something wrong in my apartment. Maintenance takes all day to come fix the problem or won’t come at all OR do a half a* job. My apartment tub is currently filled with stinky water and the toilet won’t flush . The emergency maintenance line doesn’t have a voicemail so you can’t leave a message and they never answer ! So now my house will fill with a smell for however long…. The leasing office never shows any sympathy when I call every month for a different problem they sound irritated when you call, but these are the same women who will press you about leaving them a good review but your rude to your renters. once you sign that paper that nice attitude is out the window ! Was also told that my apartment was supposedly updated but doesn’t look anything like the display model they show renters. Only thing that may be updated is the toilet or floor… 2 of My 4 stove burners don’t even work. you could b 8 days late on your rent and they’ll stick a note on your door talking about eviction, Pure craziness ! So if your looking to move here beware and make sure you look at your apartment before you sign the lease. They’ll tell you your not able to do it but you can look it up! The negative reviews are true ! I looked passed them don’t make the same mistake I made .

My family moved into our townhouse in May of 2022, since then we’ve had countless issues with our A/C unit. It’s now August and we have yet to have properly running air. Maintenance came out 4 different days and it seems like they’re only patching the job for it to only stop working and hour after they leave. I’ve tried being patient because multiple places has staffing issues, but when it’s been 83° for a week and a half with 2 year old, frustrations run high and patience gets thin. The community is nice and quiet, but to say I’m happy is definitely overkill. Looking forward to our lease being up next May.

My leasing agent, Elaine, was very kind and helpful during my application and subsequent approval. The Units here are on the older side, with plenty of character. Many (if not all) of the plumbing fixtures appear to be original and I personally rather like them. My bathroom sink is exceptionally deep, which is great in my opinion. My kitchen sink is on the larger size as well. The refrigerator, ranger, dishwasher are all in excellent condition, although also on the older side (not a problem, just an observation). I very much appreciate that the range is gas and not electric (I prefer cooking with gas). I have only had brief interactions with Alicia in the Leasing Office, but the few I have had have been pleasant. In fact, everyone I have met from the staff has been respectful, kind, soft spoken, and helpful. I am very glad I found River Chase and will likely renew my lease (as long as they'll have me, of course).

Though the property is well manicured & kept up, this review is mainly based on our experience with the Leasing Agent, Elaine Holloway. I recently went with my son on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago to view one of the apartments here. When we arrived, there was a woman that Elaine had just shown an apartment to. The woman was aggressively firing off questions & demands to Elaine for about 10 minutes regarding an apartment she had not yet even applied for. Elaine patiently & professionally responded & answered her questions. She then moved on to my son & I, & kept the same level of professionalism & smiled often. My son called back with questions in the following week, received the same level of service from Elaine. She is great at her job! I also called on the following Saturday as an inquiring applicant with a few general questions, but had to leave a voicemail. After a couple hours no one had called me back, so, I called again, & a lady named, Alicia answered the phone. I asked a couple of questions, & let me just say that the level of service was definitely not the same as with Elaine. Alicia then told me she had an appointment, but would call me back afterwards, I’m still waiting… I know this is a job where they must deal with the public, & it is not always easy to keep a certain decorum. In current times, a lack of professionalism & politeness seems to have become the norm; however, that is not the case with Elaine, & being a professional myself, it is greatly appreciated & respected.

If I could give zero stars I would. I stayed in these properties for two years and everything that could go wrong did! Loud neighbors and the leading staff of extremely rude, unprofessional and acts passive aggressive. While staying in these apartments there was a leak in my bathroom ceiling and it caused part of my ceiling to fall in leaving me to take cold showers in the middle of winter. It took them almost two weeks to fix this issue! Next my apartment flooded and I had to call the office everyday for almost two months straight just to get someone to respond to my renters insurance so I could get reimbursed for my damages. Not to mention when they replaced my water heater it took them a week to get a new one in my apartment and they told me I had to shower at the demo apartment! Listen… I know the rent is cheaper compared to other places in STL but it was the WORST renting experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this property to my WORST enemy. 0/5 stars

Miss Alecia was so helpful and really took care of me through the process of moving! Right out of college and was looking for somewhere to stay. My parents were very impressed and will be recommending many more to follow through. The courtesy and politeness was amazing! Thank you so much Miss Alecia for everything!

The leasing agents Alicia and Elaine were very helpful during the application and move-in process, any questions I had were answered in a satisfactory manner, and all the necessary information (payments, where to do laundry, etc.) was provided in a timely manner. Also prior to move-in Alicia showed me the apartment and asked to notify her of any repairs to be made and to make sure everything was in order. So the whole process was a breeze, kudos to the ladies for helping me get accustomed to my new home and surroundings!
