I really enjoyed the fish sandwich and fries. Hot and tasty and cooked properly. Update:. An excellent choice for a broiled white fish meal and hot crispy french fries or steamed broccoli. Unsweet tea is excellent, outdoor dining if desired is very nice. This is definitely a nice choice of restaurants.

Great local spot with great service and amazing food. They have a great outdoor patio seating area, (which allows dogs!) and the inside seating is nice and quiet to allow a conversation. it’s a wonderful spot for dinner or lunch, just make sure you save room for dessert!

First time eating at Sam's and everything was great. Breaded pork tenderloin sandwich was the thicker style and came with country gravy and one side. Tenderloin was well seasoned and very tasty. I got the green beans that I mixed with the gravy. Tasted like green bean casserole which I love. My wife ordered French onion soup (delicious) and the Cobb salad. Huge with fresh ingredients. Topped it off with hard hot chocolate and Irish coffee. We'll definitely be coming back!

We were driving from North Carolina to St Louis. Stopped for gas and food. We decided on Sam's. We never heard of or have we ever ate there before. What a GREAT SUPRISE! The service was great starting with our host Alex. He made some great recomendations starting with the Wong tongs for an appetizer! Delicious! The waitess was very friendly and efficcent. She had been there 17 years. My husband ordered the Fins and Feathers $15.00. I ordered the Chicken Liver Dinner $13.99. Both were steaming HOT. Fresh homemade food!! Huge portions! Definitely take home too!! If driving through or close by we HIGHLY RECOMEND Sam's as a Great place to eat! Wish there was one closer to home! Thank ya'll for Great Food and Great Service!😊❤️

I love everything about this place. One of my favorites! If I were to say anything negative it would be that some of the dishes that I order ( over and over) are a little bit inconsistently prepared, but even with that being said they are usually still very good. The waiters are always very nice.

Great food, great prices, great service. This is now one of our favorite local restaurants. We have not had a bad meal or bad service since we started eating here. Last week we actually ate here 3 times!

Typical diner but with a little more charm. Food was good, I had half club with loaded potato soup. Sweet tea could be sweeter :) It gets a little packed in with how they have the entry set up. I would recommend a re-design at the entrance.

We decided to go to Sam's for Mother's Day .I had saw some of the bad reviews on here and was unsure, but we were very happy with the food and service ,our waitress was very pleasant and we tipped accordingly since it was Mother's Day. Our food was all Very good and fresh .We ordered appetizers and the Mozzarella was very good .I ordered the Fins and Feathers portions were good .One of my sister's ordered a seafood dinner both of them were enough that we took home meals for later .Price was good .

All deppends, I use to work at the one off Charlestown Rd. We ended up having one of my dad's birthday parties for him at the one in Floyd's Knobs ,It turned out very well Alex Taylor Jr. No longer with us. But it was a favorite place for him. Later my daughter ended up working there. It's a great little restraint.
