One of those places you need to plan on waiting for a solid 20 - 45 minutes to get in. I’ve never been when it wasn’t packed. Worth the wait. I love the free items that come around while you wait. Tossed rolls , which is fun to catch. Fried Okra, sweet molasses, black eyed peas, fried potatoes with onion. Drinks come out in huge cups and the kids love it. We spent around $60 for the 4 of us. The ham was good, just a little salty and my cottage cheese was warm, which I definitely like mine cold. Our waitress Joy was amazing and made our experience better with her friendly personality.

We saw this place on the internet when looking up places to eat while on vacation. Yes, we figured it was a tourist trap but we decided to try it. The wait was 1.5 hours. There was a very small gift shop. Bathrooms were located outside and are clean. There was a slightly shaded area with benches to wait. Once inside, it was cool. There was a large crowd and it was loud. The decor is fun to look at. I purchased a book at the gift shop that told the families history. The staff walks around with food to pass out. You order an entree with 2 sides as well. They come through throwing rolls at your table like baseballs. It's a fun atmosphere. Lots of great food. Prices very reasonable. Go here!!

Worth the hype!!! My family and I waited almost 2 hours for a table, and I’m glad we did. They had a nice gift shop and plenty of seating while you wait. This was one of the most fun, down-to-earth, and unique places I’ve ever ate. It felt like the whole restaurant was a big happy family and we were all eating classic southern comfort food. The staff were all super friendly, the food was amazing, and I had fun catching rolls. The all-you-can-eat side dishes were also super fun to try and yummy. Overall, everything was excellent!! They gained a new fan and I look forward to my next visit.

Lamberts was a fantastic experience!!! The waiter during my first visit here was super fun and the roll throwing was hilarious 😂 My family was constantly smiling and laughing while we here here. There was so much food given to us for what we paid for, we left with tons of leftovers and they even gave us a bag of a dozen rolls for free!! The pass arounds are unique and delicious. The staff is very friendly. Comfort food at its finest! Our waitress was new and did a wonderful job serving us 😁 😁

My 1st time visiting here & the customer service & food was phenomenal. My waitress was so nice & did an amazing job. I don't remember her name, but she was hispanic. Now, I wonder why this restaurant is so busy. This was a great experience. I've always heard great things about this restaurant. I will be back for another great experience. 🥰

Lots of fun! The service here is what all service should be. Lots of options, make sure you bring your appetite. You'll have leftovers. Make sure you can catch. Everything was good. We tried catfish, shrimp, frog legs, chicken and dumplings, and ribs. We never saw the boiled cabbage or macaroni and tomatoes- sad to have missed those. Everything else was great.

The wait was worth it. Between the delicious & huge rolls being thrown (or delivered which ever you prefer), the apple butter to top them, fried okra being brought around every 10 minutes or the huge servings; of food, you can’t go wrong. We tried the Chicken fried steak, the chicken pot pie, chicken & dumplings . ., . It was all good. When you go ask for Yasmin, our server, she was tentative, great sense of humor & even very busy was always there right before we needed anything. Can’t wait to go back!

There’s so much going for this place I don’t know I can cover it all from my phone keyboard. The food is fantastic typical southern fare Paula Dean couldn’t even touch. You’re constantly served delicious side dishes of all kinds and you’re tossed delicious rolls from any given corner of the restaurant. The service is as friendly as you cod get from Deep South hospitality manners . WE just had a fantastic experience and stuffed with delicious food and will probably fast for the next two days.

What a fun place! May be a bit more than you normally spend but boy do you get your money's worth!! The "passaround" food was amazing!!! Great service and great atmosphere! And it was fun to watch how they throw-d-rolls at you while you eat. Worth the wait!!

My first visit to Lambert's Cafe was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional service. My husband opted for the chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes, and I had the liver and onions, also served with mashed potatoes. The food was not only delicious but also comforting, just like a home-cooked meal. One of the standout experiences at Lambert's was the unique way they serve their rolls – by playfully tossing them to the diners. It added a fun and memorable element to the meal. The bread itself was absolutely delicious and a perfect complement to our dishes. Overall, Lambert's Cafe provided us with a fantastic dining experience, from the scrumptious food to the entertaining bread-throwing tradition. We left with full stomachs and a big smile, eager to return for another memorable meal.

One of the unique places. Servers pass along with pots and give you different kind of side dishes. Food portion is big.... actually huge. And people walking around with the food just add to your plate. Most of the food has a lot of salt though, so be careful and don't overeat. Hospitality is good, you leave the table very stuffed and still have enough food to take it with you.

Was my first time here and an amazing first experience. Place was packed but seating was very fast. The rolls they throw are big, warm and fresh. The food and atmosphere have a southern feel, it tastes great, and you get way more food than you can finish. Would definitely recommend 10/10.

You go for the thrown rolls and the rolls are delicious. Our kids got a kick out of catching these hot yummy buns. It’s definitely worth taking the time to eat here if you are near Foley. The cuisine is southern Homestyle and it doesn’t disappoint. Generous serving sizes; four of us actually split meals although they will allow sharing the will NOT bring an extra plate. We went for lunch service arrive about noon and had a short wait. Definitely a place to experience.

It’s like Cracker Barrel on steroids and SO much fun! The food is fried fantastic, the service is fun and you can’t beat a place that throws multiple bread rolls at you to catch! Plus pass arounds and unique sides I’ve never heard of before!

This was a really fun dining experience. Everything from the throwing of rolls to the free sides that they bring around made this a great dining out for my family. There was a little bit of a wait so please plan that into your visit. But well worth waiting on.

We arrived around 12:20 and told we would have a hour wait. 45 minutes our name was called and we go inside. The atmosphere is awesome and the bread throwing is fun. Then they bring around the sides to share and they're awesome. I got the half slab rib plate and 2 sides which were baked beans and french fries. It was absolutely delicious. The cups of water they bring out are huge. The server was nice even though it took them a while to come back to our table but I understand since it was super busy. Overall a great experience with amazing food!!

Our party of 4 all got the ribeyes, and they were so good. All cooked to the exact temperature requested and was delivered to us decently quickly with the number of people present. Got to experience the "throwed rolls," and it made the dinner a lot of fun as for all of the fixins that they bring around the tables constantly while eating. The size of the drinks was great as well as the server didn't have to come fill ours up but once the whole time. All of the servers were very nice and made sure you felt at home.
